the eye of the tiger is,
the beholder of a lion’s din
the eye of the tiger is,
the beholder of a lion’s beauty
beauty is the beholder of a lion’s beauty
beauty is the beholder of a lion’s din
a lion’s din is a lion’s beauty

the eye of the tiger is,
the beholder of a lion
a lion’s din is a lion’s eye of the tiger
a lion’s din is a lion’s sight
a din is a din of a lion
a din is a din of a sight
a din is a din of beauty

a sight of beauty is a sight of a lion
a sight of beauty is a sight of a din
a lion’s sight is a lion’s din
a lion’s sight is a lion’s eye of the tiger
beauty is beauty’s din
beauty is beauty’s lion of a din

Comm Day 2012

Any excuse to skip
class was good enough for me.
"Senioritis" was hitting me hard,
plus, it was gonna be a good time
hangin' with my TV Production 2 classmates.
     Penn State (Beaver Campus)
  hosted the event,
in the middle of the whole Sandusky mess.
  So we exploited the opportunity
 by making jokes on
the bus ride there.
      The dean introduced himself
to the song "Eye of the Tiger"
  and then sent everyone
   all over their property.
I ignored my room assignments,
choosing to follow a British
girl I had a crush on.
Our journalism presenter,
  the last of the day,
    had never went to school.
  Odd choice--
    Then we were fed,
  and won multiple awards
  at the following ceremony:
being loud, tipping chairs, & making asses of ourselves
before heading on the bus back home.

Eye of the Tiger

Used to call that raging beast inside of me
Should I fight or should I back out?
But this is the time that I should get the chance
A test of survival that keeps my passion burning
It’s like you want to chase your dreams even its night
Like craving for prey and want a good fight
I could stumble to death in every single hunt
But I can stand on my feet and still fight to survive
Have the power and guts to face my rivals
I’ll rise and not fall with the wonder in my eyes
So I won’t give up till the last of my breath
Have the glory with me till the end of my life

Eye of the Tiger

In life we face many battles...some challenge us in new ways we did not expect. The will is tested, but never defeated. We’re mocked and humiliated, but stay humble. Such is the tiger, efficient and silent.

Leaking gaping wounds
Coughing fur balls to laughter
Beware the tiger

The tiger is the most evolved of all the cats, dare I say of all the land predators.
Proficient on land and in water; in pitch black, twilight or at dusk; in the tropicas or in the tundra...the tiger adapts and dominates its terrain.

Darkness is haunted
Impossible is hunted
Eye of the tiger

Eye of the Tiger

I am tiger
Blend in, disappear
Tracking like ghost
Never giving into fear

I am tiger
Hunt what's worth
Meaning of existance
Meaning of birth

I am tiger
To be respected
Love and awe
Who should be neglected?

Eye of the Tiger

He brandished a nine iron, went chipping away
The course was so green, the air was so warm
The boy had dreams of being the best one day
Out on the course, each day, working on form

No stopping when tired, had known how to work
But, enjoyed the game so much, it wasn’t a chore
He labored for fun with his goal to be great
He knew what he wanted, each day wanting more

For each different hole, he selected with care
A wood or an iron, a chip or full swing
He honed well his skills to compete with the best
He’d never have guessed what fame it would bring

The Eye of the Tiger

Into the eye of the tiger I tumble
Fangs of grief claw at my heart.
The growling pain a low rumble
Threatening to tear me apart.

Emotions ripple beneath his skin.
Flexing muscles tensely reminds
This bloody battle I'll never win,
For in my soul, weakness he finds.

The tiger of pain circles my defenses
Stalking the memories in my mind.
He smells the fear of bloody pretences,
Of a heart that is weakened and blind.

How magnificent you are, tiger of mine
As I defiantly grab you by the tail.
The power of grief and pain intertwine
Against winds of fate I scream and rail.

Exhausted I cry for closure and peace
Primitive lament, pure pain I hear.
Every day the conflict seems to increase,
In the eye of the tiger I see my fear.
