A free bridge
collapsing
and the day bleeds
no stains....
ever escaping rugs,
can't blame a witch
of the day gusty
it's hurting.
spiraling pain
no guard heals
no sight of churches...
when the curtains
are a blind ridge,
faith is leaving,
its a leafy
sworn side focus....
red born lonely
here we left
old times
less than sobriety..
heavy of heft,
I still have Jesus
just not as wished,
is easy as pieces.
a strong contradiction,
Even all the Christians
have given up on me,
And I can't blame them,
Was I born a demon?

Monocrostic (Birthday of Edwin Casipong)
What the heck's the matter with you mate,
And why are you on the interstate?
I'm growing increasingly irate.
That's why your driving I will berate,
If you don't quickly increase your rate.
Next, I'll pull all the hair out of my pate.
God forbid that I should have to wait.
In the world of introverts and extroverts, she is unknown
She adapts herself with the person she attaches to
Is this a real place for her to be grown
Or just a mere illusion, still to be known.
Is being an introvert glorified to know the inner-self
Or an extrovert connects to the world nicely
But what if she doesn't know who she is herself
Writing this poetry to express her feelings precisely.
I-n a world of vast potential yet endless need
m-ake every effort to use that magic deep within
s-o please do your utmost at all costs
p-erhaps even more than usual as close
r-elationships might feel a certain strain
e-asing tension is an onus without doubt
a-lways be that diplomat on constant duty

i-nitiative is vital, then what’s keeping you
n-ever miss that chance, it might vanish
g-oodness is a going concern or should be
h-eaven is so tantalizing come what may
a-mazing things can happen in an instant
p-lease don’t delay as tomorrow may
p-ass as time is that never-rooted nomad that
i-nsists on strict adherence for each person before its
n-ext arrival in your area or neighborhood
e-ngage as if your life depended on it
s-o it does, and, surely so it shall indeed
s-unlight is the savior that I spread with aplomb
S nowy week passes away. K ites float and play. I wonder, is it a game? I nner voice says the same. N ext to see the snowiest place G o to snowmobiling chase

In time,
Voiceless space,
Earthlings order to
Retrieve what they make out like a
Ship, be an upside down apple pie from planetoid
Europa, like a scratch o’er it. Now you must first invent from where are the origins.

Natalia’s expecting her very first child
Early morning sickness thankfully it is mild
When feeling first kick, husband and wife smiled
Baby names chosen for girls and boys
Eager friends buy clothing and soft toys
Great excitement at Natalia’s due date
Isaac and Natalia simply cannot wait
No sign of contractions, the time drags by
Next day labor and baby gives a hearty cry
Incredible joy when they take baby home
Now life’s complete with their son Jerome
Getting into routine, they’re finding it strange
Sleep deprivation – both hope that will change!

Farewell summer we bid you goodbye
As now chill of autumn begins to bite,
Leaves turn yellow, gold and deep red
Lovely vibrant colours adorn the trees.
Deciduous trees finally lose their leaves
Everywhere covered in a carpet of hues,
Evergreens defy autumn and stay green,
People go out walking to admire the view.
Inspiring the poets who capture it in verse
Not forgetting artists who paint its beauty,
Time moves on as we near autumns end
October the thirty first; its now Halloween.
All the trick or treaters are out for some fun
Under the moonlight they look quite scary,
Trick or treat they say at everyone's door
Using bags and pockets to carry their treats,
Make their way home now it's getting late.
Next day is November and winter creeps in.
