Amalgam vis-à-vis
of enzymes...
enraptured bows
of intimate fires...
Love, unsatisfied mix
of electrons, protons and neutrons!
screens emotionally
intertwined in feelings
ethereally woven...
prime seams,
magnetized caresses
attracted by the vortex,
kinesthetic vibration
that is the love !

i am making love in this poem.
my hands worshiping her feet like a god.
her smile is where i want to sit & grow old in her belly.
maybe, i should tell her a story.
of how the ocean tides rise & fall for
our sake.
that her kisses are enzymes that continue to speed up reactions in our bodies.
i love this girl like the holy spirit.
whenever she descends into my body,
i become a witness/telling people about her everywhere.
she hails from the foundation of africa.
i have seen the grain coast on her skin.
that means: i am in love with a liberian girl.
i love this girl according to the words coming out of my tongue,
& the meditation that crawls in my heart.
for this girl,
i have found africa.

Feedback - flight or fight – it’s due to enzymes.
God put it in our brain, safeguard for crimes;
fear is normal, a good thing many times.
Facts fog up when fear uses its strong-arm.
What is meant to keep us sheltered from harm
can fail just like any other alarm.
A freeze from fear forces all hands on deck.
When fears become phobias, take time, check
your fear can be a liar, a roughneck.
Facing the fact of a fear of failure
pray to God; ask others to help for sure.
With effort on your end, you’ll find a cure.
Focus on the freedom you can achieve
when your irrational fear goes on leave.

This is a reasonnet - four tercets rhymed AAA,BBB,CCC,DDD, and a couplet rhymed EE. I have used pentameter, but that is not required according to the creator of this form, Reason A. Poteet (yes, that's me).

The rumbling sound,
While I lie low to the ground-
Calling upon the cuffs of sleep -
To keep me in the jails deep-
It is a wave that strikes;
A hungry tummy to get a slice,
Of bread,
Of breath.
With a frothed mouth,
The emptiness goes south.
In this darkness, craving for food,
I remember the nuts unchewed.
With my head under the pillow, I yawn;
And the stomach enzymes spawn.
Midnight hunger is disaster,
That needs to be served like a master.

web emotionally
strewn with

fluidly, are
matrix firstfruits,
pure words that
from the book don't run away
antimagnetic apples
that of the tree
don't fall ,

After a brief illness,
some dry toast.
This is how we create the world;
with electrochemical reparations,
enzymes to melt monsters.
We chew moccasins supple enough
to travel on to evening,
One thought must be
hammered to another
until a scaffold is erected,
a bone ribbed archway
for onward journeys.
After the toast, a part of me
goes for a walk,
another part stays home
repairing a straw life, in case
the big bad wolf returns.

Your transition is a miracle
A Divine orchestrated Oracle
Like the ever-changing caterpillar
Metamorphosed into a butterfly
Graceful and Beautiful
Bright and Colourful
Gracefully transforming its body
Spinning itself like a silky cocoon
For a season, it goes through pain
To renew the old nature again
Digesting and releasing enzymes
To dissolve all of its old tissues
It learns to creep and crawl
Then it learns to stand tall
Fashioned to fly and to soar
To kiss the beauty of a flower
He's made us priest and kings
And He's given you these wings
Spread these wings every day
And fly just like the butterfly

The timing of the word `blessing'
missteps,
trips over minute and hour hands.
The unwelcome must leave a note
on an open door and slip away.
There are no apologies
only shelved claw marks.
The infant is smuggled away,
snuggled into an older bosom.
She writes: I need to name you.
The name I gave you
before you disappeared inside my eyes
seems all wrong now.
The letters were enzymes in a Petri dish.
Later I could see clumps of words
coagulating,
but now I cannot speak them.
Long ago “it" was your name.
now everything goes quiet inside me.
I have been sewing tight a womb
made of long-evening shadows.
I feel less confined,
more blessed by the flavor of you.
The blessing.

5:11 a.m.
I woke up an hour ago
Wondering which school I go to today as I have two
One is Monday Friday, the other Tuesday through Thursday
It took me almost forty minutes to remember it is Saturday.
5:18 a.m.
Dog is barely awake, pink tongue lolling about.
Almost falling off the couch, lying upside down
With her paws in the air.
Is she dead? I peer closely, and notice her stomach moving.
5:25 a.m.
Coffee slaps my enzymes awake.
They bat her away, wanting more sleep
I am taking big gulps now.
A day without the stress of traffic?
I am determined to enjoy every last second of it.

Opportunity hobnobs with doors
That open when it knocks
Bypassing entrances
That dither watching clocks, counting spokes
Enabling opportunity to hobnob with eyes
Primed to spot the oncoming opportunity march
In dainty pies and blue skies
Swirling, welcoming the opportunity touch
Eager to proceed to new destinations
Where pates gear to jump on the bandwagon
To lubricate diplomatic relations
Clinched with the opportunity paragon
In conducive circumstances of space and time
Where hands grow eager to seize
Chances, glances and stances that climb
Alongside shambling opportunity hands that vie to please
When all factors remaining equal
Opportunity dives, drives and thrives
In settings that generate the sequel
In which opportunity arrives and derives
Ingredients in the environment
In terms of solvent, substrate and enzymes
To mingle ingredients into the optimal ferment
In the right climes, at the right times
To deliver the desired finished product
Designed to delight the end user
Within the supply chain duct
That metes negative reinforcement on an opportunity abuser, teaser or loser.

On another site, a “new” friend I did find
Soon realized she's been there all the whole time
Calls me “Happy Jack”
How sweet is that
Wanna crawl through the screen and caress her enzymes

Food is the greatest sufferer
fingers pinch it but no cry
teeth bite it but no cry
throat swallows but no cry
enzymes destroy it but no cry
it lives in torture chambers
would- be rescuers, say no cry
this food that walks or is walked!

Bacteria flirting with enzymes,
co mingling every which way,
with friendly organisms that give birth
every time to curds and whey.
That's the miracle of life as seen through my eyes,
as I look down upon the cheese upon my fries.

A chance for eternity is at stake.
Life is too important to make a mistake.
Some try to get rich playing the lottery,
Odds are against them, but they play merrily.
Some think we are a product of natural selection,
Enzymes and molecules, in some random collection.
Trillions to one, against it, yet they still believe,
A Designer with a purpose, too hard to conceive.
Our life is too important, to risk it on the odds,
It's actually more intelligent, to believe in God.
Life, comes from life, not some chance of fate,
Trusting in an organic soup, isn't that, blind faith?
Life's not a game of chance, we all have a choice.
Believe in our maker, and make him rejoice.
The ridiculers laugh and scoff, but they are rolling the dice,
With the odds against them, they are betting their life.
