I’ve moved out (of school),
I’m moving in (to school).
My joke is that I’m having a ‘moving experience.’
Graduating college (3 days ago) was a dream come true
I’m starting a master’s degree in 7 days.
You have to admire the efficiency.
Do I have your permission to bear my soul?
I might have imposter syndrome.
I’m a harsh critic—of everything—but mostly me.
I’m over the romance and pressure of school.
I’m starting the romance and pressure of school.
Don’t worry, this isn’t hapless, sad girl literature.
Or a diary—it’s a portrayal of my inner life.

You were diligent, honest, and keen
when you first joined our ranks.
Your efficiency was a quiet marvel,
your integrity is a sturdy backbone.
I, the head, was blind to your worth,
too caught up in flashier performances.
Your steady hand went unnoticed,
your silent triumphs uncelebrated.
Now the organisation falters,
burdened by flashy incompetence.
I look at you with newfound eyes,
finally seeing what I missed.
This time, it's I who am in dire need
of the qualities you embodied all along.
Oh, but your spirit is dimmed now,
worn down by years of neglect.
The spark in your eyes has faded,
And your once-eager steps now weary.
My belated recognition comes too late
to reignite your dampened fire.
You've learned to blend with the shadows,
no longer seeking approval or praise.
The efficient, honest you, I now crave,
but has retreated beyond my reach.

Like time
Efficency has slipped away secretly
From our bodies
Causing unpredicted destruction
Even the slightest bone
And the smoothest joint
Without sympathy
The joint jelly dries up like a leaf
The strong bone becomes brittle like a twig
Gain in time loss in health
Aging is unquestionable
Like the scientific laws
And so
Make use of them
Before it's too late

Efficiency
I can not leave yet,
the ominous green light on the coffee pot...
just went out,
but the brew inside,
is still hot.
There are a number of ideas,
that would be lost in the shuffle,
if I cleaned my desk.
I can not let that happen.
I must stand guard,
over my own common sense.
As in this case,
it threatens to lead me astray.
My cup is half empty,
I have edited half a story,
and written... all of another.
The day has drifted in and out,
from my world.
I am not concerned.
I am enthralled..., in the moment,
not the minute of the hour.
In the wee beats...
chimes on the clock
the morning announced,
past the noon hour on the other side,
of the world...
I am done.
At least for now.
I can close my eyes,
until the next time,
the clock strikes again;
at the appointed point,
the race starts,
and the words are released...
once more.

The epitome of efficiency
women juggled
daily chores
babies
and
their
husbands
all the while
maintaining both
their dignity and femininity.

[ 'Self-Efficiency' is a poem-cum-advice for people with respect to philosophy of daily life.]
Never keep something for others to do,
It may not be done;
Never talk with someone who has walked in with you,
Talk with someone who has walked out;
Never be gaudy to someone,
They may suspect you;
You may pay reverence to others,
but, first have it yourself.
When do you remain placid?
In that stage, to yourself, do not forbid;
To be in a state of mind,
where you have nothing else to do but, bind;
Within a mustered crowd,
Have your ears limited to own,
When the situation becomes too grubby,
Try not defence but, to protest;
And when neither's the option,
Have your own thought and belief.
Never adjourn a pending do,
rather, hasten it faster,
Enchanting a rhyme or a dream,
Are same to a extent,
Both are never to be the truth;
To admonish the unsocials,
Valour's to be removed,
To hoard on it, is just useless;
The onset of marshal growth.
