E?CSTASY

Happiness,

Is filling me,

Feeling ECSTASY.

My energy,

Willingly,

Set me free,

So I could be,

My true me.

Don't you see,

It's lovely.

From the sea,

Each leaf on the tree,

Energy flows Endlessly,

Filling us with ECSTASY.

a quest to find myself again

The days were brighter then,
When without the slightest effort, I’d succeed in making a good impression.
Now it seems no one knows me to be “good”,
How will they? I’ve hardly provided any proof
I used to swim in an ocean of praise,
And I’d bring home what I perceived to be, good grades.
My smile-wreaked of genuine ecstasy
Now it

Ecstacy

Hearts and souls aflame.
Fire rainbows and fire whirls.
Our bodies entwined.

Two Poems Interpretted From Meer Bai

Meer Bai (1498-1546) was a Hindu mystic, musician, poet, and saint. She was born to a royal house, but gave up all privilege to live as a beggar, singing of her true love Krishna along the byways and in the marketplace. I have adapted two of her poems, striving as best I might to capture

Ecstacy

I’d rather be ecstatic
  in uncomfortable surroundings

Than miserable
  —in comfort and shame

Deceitful Ecstacy

He teased and kissed my soul on fire
What he left was unsatisfied desire
He left and said he would call soon
But the moon was full 
And as we all know 
Full moons betray lovers.

He did call but only once
To say good bye
My eyes teared 
My gut wrenched
His thirst was quenched 
But left me thirsty 

He came

Such Astral Ecstacy

These visions come so sudden
Yet there's nothing frightening about them;
Instead they share emotions usually hidden,
With a beautiful and unforgettable outcome.

Overwhelming emotions I feel everywhere
For I am not the only one who feels the same;
No one can deny the true feelings there,
When its over I won't even know your name.

Filled with rapture and bliss
As your lips

Sunset Ecstacy

Radiant sunset covers
Shafts of dimming colors
Awe of daylight jewels
Light beclouding visuals
A sight stunner of purity 
In belly of fledgling piety

Ecstacy

When divine’s grace, stroked hair and kissed forehead  
Euphorically immersed in ecstasy 

When humming breeze smoothed solitude 
Weeping heart filled with orisons 

When rays of hope percolated in being
Tears of pleasure coursed down on cheeks

When tied limbs broken twines
Suppressed desires floated on sky

When hymns of bliss reverberated in air 
Canyons of mind filled with

Natures Ecstacy

Birds chirpped well in the morning,
Hardly any specs of clouds in the sky,
Breeze came sung and blown away,
Ripples kissed the shore in the lake.


Flowers are in full bloom in the garden,
Nature dances in ecstacy,
Little thought cripples on my mind,
Started throwing stones at others.

Later,when my virtues and prayers started ,
Dancing in harmony,then,
I could see me in

What I like is a comforting thought,
And some for me God has brought;
Is available each and every day;
Remove and take our sins away;
In His ecstasy have been caught.

E xhilarated by a marquee of  bright horses,  
C arousel of my girlhood…I dance with your light!
S oaring, navigating a riot of a glossy parade;
T o revel in flights beyond star’s gateway
A s my heart thrills from arcade’s music…Oh,
S cenes from past summers replay this joy. I become
Y oung again… while dazzling evening

Visions
   of a
better day 
are hurtling through 
    the minds 
of 
millions 
their visions will 
   become realities! 
If we hold on to 
     golden thoughts 
then bright sunshine 
will light up our days
   We have the power 
to find joy

With colorful butterflies
Joyous at the rippling
Of his stream
And the sprouting of his dormant seed
In the sublimation of his soil
