Drowning
in loneliness
tears creating floods, a
kind word is the sunshine that drys
the rain

Till Earth Gets All Barren Like Moon

Not till the last forest’s flattened on earth,
The last few drops drip down no more nor leak,
Till crawling deserts daunt, the lands look bleak,
The last river’s all bare from very birth,
And last well on Earth's barren breast drys out,
Man’s greed gets never gratified in full,
Till stark nude earth’s all left there’s for this fool,
Humanity hangs in despair-filled doubt.

He stares still— Nature hanging on last thread,
The will of Mother Earth all but wilted,
Most of world’s precious snow all nigh melted,
And coastal seas advance with unknown dread.
What next? Till tortured Earth’s barren like Moon,
I doubt still, man gets wise any time soon.

Premium MemberSteel and Deal

Steel cold, rough hands lay slack.
Pull it taut while gripping the back.
Getting it apart takes a lot of force.
Days pass, and so strain, as a horse.

Gather up inside of a ductility test.
If the wire grows warm, it drys best.
Yield point stretched wire snaps.
A coil cobra rests as tension gaps.

The soliloquy, alike waves, is broken.
Left behind a rid-sailing, in boat oaken.
Breasts shift in a way to hold in place.
It is crookedness for leisure to misplace.

Thrown and shoved the other way.
Yet, no pang was felt; only grit lay.
Not adorn the sting of flatness to feel.
As her skin likely burns from the ordeal.

Premium MemberEternally Yours

Rainfall streaming down the pane
Beads and drops spell out your name
Sun then drys and leaves a streak
I focus in and cannot speak
Unbroken line no formal start
Letters formed into a heart
Mine or yours I do not know
It doesn't matter they just flow
No beginning and no end
They must be mine, then to you send
My message for eternity
Goes round and round, infinity
Endless loop, computer code
Cannot reboot or resync mode
That's okay because it's true
There's no reset of my love for you

Earth

The earth is the only thing helping us to continue to naturally survive

Yet we keep on developing it and say life will get better over time

When are we just going to learn to live with earth so nature can naturally thrive

Every time a tree gets cut down or a animal shot I can hear the earth cry

We are the only species that kills out of context and then still have the audacity to say we are wise

Open up your eyes

Look at all the destruction we are feeding as it continues to rise

We have all played a part because we are waiting for some sort of prize

Then being fed like vultures, invisible drug with endless supply

But when the water drys

And all the trees have died

And all the animals have said their goodbyes

We will have no one, NO ONE to blame but ourselves, look at your own monster in the mirror with your own two eyes

If you have the abilty to see, reflect and analyze

Oh wait, lets get a close up so we can advertise

And put it on the TV, so we can continue to buy

The Fleeting Moments of Time

They slip by like drops of water
hardly noticed after the puddle drys
They seem so unconcerned
Those fleeting moments of time

Brides are given in Marriage Cities are built at a rapid pace
Bright lights add to the splendor
Business deals are brokered in hast

That, once so freshly painted
With time falls away to ruin
Imbers, dying from the beginning. From the fleeting years that burn

The clock ticks off the seconds
Minutes disappear through the glass
The hands of time strikes the hour
And moments add to the past

It’s the days that make life fragile,
How fast the years fall in line
They say that time heals all who hurt
That love is stronger than time

The sands of time runs out
leaving only memories behind
Pointing its weathered finger to Jesus
He defeats the moments of time

The Resurrected Moon

GREEN
SLIVERED GRASS
RACES WITH A BLUR
WINDS DRYS N COOLS MY SKIN
THE HORSE I HIDE
CRIES IN DELIGHT
I RACE WITH DIGNITY.

Twilight sets...

AS A DAY DWINDLES AWAY
I RIDE FREEDOM'S TIDE
RACING WITH THE IMMACULATE SON
NEVER WINNING THE RACE
BUT TRIUMPHANT WITH GRACE
JUST RUNNING THROUGH THE COMING RAINS
VISIONS BLURS
AS I FLY FROM THE DYING OF NOON
GLIDING INTO THE RESURRECTED MOON.

Premium MemberAn Excavation

Time mends the broken heart; a timeless feat.
Time drys the eyes that once, could only weep.
Life’s highs and lows; a harmonizing beat.
A soulful hymn; time’s echo buried deep.

The truth of time; lies within a moment.
By eternity; will Death be survived?
Death kindly stops for all; life’s atonement.
If death may die, will all lost have arrived?

Decide what’s worthy; hold it in regard.
Live every moment like it’s a lifetime.
Pass on a legacy none would discard.
Forge memories to test the test of time.

Not a moment to waste; don’t hesitate!
Dig deep into your core; self-excavate!

Premium MemberI Live

As I walk through this life in history,
I live.
You may not like my lifestyle,
Still, I live.
You look at me with a beam in your eyes,
Trying to take a straw out of mines,
My straw is a single dried stalk of gain,
Your beam is loaded down from the seam.

Will you look at yourself
Before anyone else?
Will you search your heart
Take it apart
Not allowing the rod of life to be your start?
Why would you want to see me broken,
With the words, you have spoken?
Still, I live.

You shoot me down with your words,
Your eyes cut me like a razor blade,
You may try to kill me
With your rage,
But still, I live.

As I leave the night of terror behind
You will find, still, I live.
As the sun rises in the morning
And frost drys from its rays,
I live, I live, I live
Because God gave me life
And the life I live, He gave me more abundantly.
I live, I live, I live!

Just Let It Burn

Imagine you're on fire,
And it's ever since you can remember,
And flames get ever higher,
Yet will never turn to ember,

Forever screaming for release,
But the inferno never dies throughout your cries,
Always increases never ceases,
It drys your eyes although you try,

Now imagine you found hope,
Something to take away the torcher,
So just one second you can cope,
As the scorched is tamed by water,

Like it's the first time you've felt rain,
And never felt so free before,
But soon all pains regained,
You need it again, but it takes more and more,

But always knowing when the feeling goes,
And your curse comes to return,
That the hurt you show forever grows,
And even worse will it still burn,

But now it's not just about the flames,
As the smoke takes away your breath,
And all the rain in the world can't douse the pain,
As now you slowly choke to death.

Owned By Angst

I sweat when I’m nervous,
Its my trait,
Not by choice,
Anxious,
My fate.

When I’m first to show,
Last or out smarted,
Just the thought of being anxious,
Means that it’s started

Sweats come,
Mouth drys,
Run away,
Want to cry,

Mop my brow,
How,
No tissue,
Big issue,
Some one speaks so I have to react,
Retract,
Will they see me sweat,
Think I’m weird,
It’s everything I’ve ever feared.

Deep breaths,
Need to stop muttering,
Eyes wide,
Don’t start stuttering,
Sweaty pits,
Can you see,
Please no,
Why me,

Wrong colour shirt,
Feel hurt.
Make an excuse,
Need to leave,
Reprieve,
Could say somethings happened,
Terribly bad,
Play the part,
Look sad.

Say I’m unwell,
They’ll think I’m mad,
They don’t know me,
My bad,
My life
My struggle
Too many feelings to juggle.

Moan,
Feel so alone - in this crowd
Why am I here,
Fear
Maybe it’s too soon
Too loud.

Deep breath - stay calm,
Happy thoughts,
Sweaty palms,
Run away,
I must not,
...............
I’m only at the bus stop.

Sour Grapes

When thoughts like lightning streak across my mind
In brilliant flashes of the clearest hues
If turning them to words on page I find
My efforts and advances are refused

I oft will turn my ire towards the page
Until the subject on which words won't form
Dies crumpled in a ball of poet's rage
With judgement as capricious as a storm.

Yet in the calm that comes when storms have passed
As daylight drys the anger from my eyes
I see the mound of paper there amassed.
With clarity -- of sorts -- I realize

The vision that I first thought so sublime
Was never worthy of such skill as mine.

Premium MemberLittle One

Little one

There is tapping on the window, rain drops and little hands

A mother drys her wet face

and she prays she can explain,

she did not plan to leave her little girl alone and afraid

the plan was to take her child to safety

this refuge from this famous land,

instead there was a prison for babies and little girls.

and as always there was money to be made

she stood until lawyers came and freed her

then she rushed into this cold damp place,

reached out with hope to wrap her arms around her child

but in that instant meant to enfold her little one safe again

lawyer and camera man waiting for the perfect moment

the mother’s tears began again wondering will she be able to explain

to her child now hiding very quietly from her

         behind something like a cage

Different Shades of Wetness

And like that she became wet.
Undressing before she bathed in the storm.
Umbrella left home, by the door.
She wanted to be cleansed.
Clothes thrown to the side.
Where's the fun in being dry.
To rush every moment that craves to be moist.
Splashing in puddle after puddle.
The Infatuation of being free.
The depth of being caught in a portrait just before it drys.
Covered in layer after layer of heavy blue.
A foam of white.
A kiss that quenches every thirst.
Our lips the brush that sops the wetness.
Forever more.
To purposely be caught without an umbrella

Anike

Anike! oh! ao she cares!
Howshe makes me always wanna stand and stare!
the thought of her, it drys away my tears
takes away the fears
and infuses the freshness of the air.
though she came from the rear,
her kinda love puts things in gear,
 worked her up the stairs
and puts her in others glare.
waoh! what a wonderful pair!
