Streams of passion with their ebbs and flows as waters dancing to rivers twisting call, so my obsessions rise and in time they sleep growing and fading bringing change to my life.
Directions and pressures guide me through this world and though I attempt to control them it is they that often do me as I stand a creature refined..... yet… maybe not......
Driven by the needs and passions of nature, existing on this earth spinning without purpose gone in a flicker leaving no more than a vapor of thought.
What was thought important and tied to a universe of beliefs found pointless and inconsequential in the rush of the galaxies.
Thus I choose…… to let passion reign.

I ask what I've learnt since I was a youth.
It seems as though I don't have much to show -
so much energy, spent in search of truth.
Little, have I, of what there is to know.
Like anyone, I've suffered from abuse,
but there's no point in stewing in my juice,
and ambition does not, at all times, pay,
when aiming at the wrong thing anyway,
and searching for love outside my own skin
is not as rich as finding it within.
With fellow pilgrims sharing life's bouquet,
I will try to appreciate each day.
To chase lady truth, I still have a while.
Till then, I'll do whatever brings a smile.
I see your smile
It embraces me

When we are young we may ask,
where are we going?
Life is a long winding road,
filled with adventure.
Will we stay in our hometown or,
will we travel around the world?
Will our talents be born to the world or,
will we hide them to our self?
Many talents I may have,
painter, sculptor, print-maker, ceramist, and writer,
I shall not pick one,
for I shall pick all for this one life.
Life brings me much enjoy,
death and sadness.
All in one short life,
how does one contain it all?
Where are we going,
does anyone ever really know?
The tempest gathering hearts;
Souls imparting dire wisdom;
Holistic premonition preordained;
Nothing gathered souls prearranged;
Words of life speak forth life;
Shallow be the maker heart that beats;
Elohim
Creator of majesty
Universe is His dynasty

How sweet the sorrow
How deep the void
We go on with one less tale of footprints in the sand beside us.
With wishful eye is cast memory’s glance to those prints found falling forever behind, the spirit of their artist slowly fading from this earth as the winds of time swallow even our own mind’s memory of their placement.
Gathered in our grief,
huddled in our memories, recalling the joys,
experiencing the heartache, sharing the load of all those who will somehow carry on,
we proceed in reaffirmed certainty of our own impending fate,
less in number
aware of our solitude
all the more alone
yet better for having had a moment in which to share life's path together.
There is so much
left unsaid
Words will go on
forevermore
As I sit next
to her bed
With all the words
that needs to be said
I hear her feeble breath
laborious gasping
If I utter a word
I know I won't stop
But in her condition
will she hear any of it
In my heart of hearts
I hope she does
But it will satisfy no one
but myself
Wishful thinking
that will be
For I will know
the truth of it
That it will all be words
carried by the winds
Words that would
satisfy all her questions
Words were the
answers she needed to hear
Words she longed for
and clung to life for
Words that ...
"We're turning the machines off,
I'm sorry but she's gone."
... that matters?

"We can all be an angel to someone." By Poet
I can still remember,
the days of years gone by.
We were so young and carefree,
time did not exist for us.
We loved life,
and life loved us back.
Years and time left us,
left us standing still.
Awakening one day to find all had changed,
we were now old and frail.
Your peach and cream skin has wrinkles,
your brunet hair is now a pretty soft gray.
One thing has not changed,
your angelic personality,
You were my angel the day we first met,
today after all the years you are still my angelic angel.
Does God have more than one name,
in the bible many names can be found.
In Exodus Moses said,
"The LORD Is My Banner."
Jehovah Shalom,
"The LORD our Peace."
Then we have Jehovah Raah,
"The LORD our Shepherd" from the Psalms 23.
Some young children call God,
"Abba" or "Abba Father."
A Hebrew word for His name is,
"Adonai."
The list of names can go on but the main point is,
to call on God.
Not only when things go bad,
but everyday.
To say thank you daily,
for all our many blessings.
With our earthly minds,
we cannot comprehend how great our God is.
When heaven comes,
we will then know how great our God has been.
This trail of sorrows overwhelms me crushing my spirit, my soul, my hopes….. Oh that I could bring end to this path of pain and reconciliation to the life that was once mine, though I have no right to curse this darkness which has heaved itself so heavily upon me for I alone stand responsible for the torment I now suffer. Savage and deep the bite of this hell, mine alone to bare.
Who am I now this lonely man bent to the point of break, wishing to share his soul yet existing in hallow void of loneliness and dark realization none are found who would receive it.
Set aside for the busier matters of others lives I struggle in my search for that peaceful joy I once knew in the refuge of loving arms and shared dreams of purpose,,,,,,, now I exist in bleak solitude with full understanding my assigned place is on the sidelines of life- serving the needs and desires of others
Were I with artist brush to place my strokes upon this canvas with the very blood which once passed through my beating heart, pulsed through my veins and bore witness to my soul.....would those strokes with their cry for life call out more boldly from the page than black of ink......and if so is this not admission of lacking not of artist but witness ?
Words be words and stroke be stroke as should not rest so heavy upon the shoulders of this artist responsibility to provide tools of understanding.
