I ask what I've learnt since I was a youth. It seems as though I don't have much to show - so much energy, spent in search of truth. Little, have I, of what there is to know. Like anyone, I've suffered from abuse, but there's no point in stewing in my juice, and ambition does not, at all times, pay, when aiming at the wrong thing anyway, and searching for love outside my own skin is not as rich as finding it within. With fellow pilgrims sharing life's bouquet, I will try to appreciate each day. To chase lady truth, I still have a while. Till then, I'll do whatever brings a smile.

Hi Crystol! thanks, haha, since I haven't learned much, I had to make it concise!

Hello David, Congrats on getting HM in my poetry contest. Your poem cuts to the bone with that raw ache of searching, the quiet triumph of turning inward. I see the youth who chased truth, the scars that didn’t break you, the love you’re building from the marrow out. Your words are lanterns, lighting how we heal, how we choose joy. The smile you chase? It’s already yours. Spring Blessings, My Friend, Daniel

Hi Daniel, thanks, and great review, I'm laughing because your reviews are more poetic than my poems. I like "the smile I chase is already yours!"
