Dare to dream
A mind to needs to understand
Convene words
Heart expels
Storms torrent the soul
Emotions cry out
A loud voice says commit suicide
Die and be forgotten
Surrounded by defeat with no victory
Story in
Approaching conclude with no soothe
Understanding and purpose collide
It’s like there’s a small boat unable to hold steady
The mind feeling like waves shifting here and there
Alone in the struggles
A sunset that quickly turns dark
No one knows what I feel
Reality is for real
A told story, but who is listening?
Anchored in one’s own theory
Mystery unknown
Tomorrow only a virtue
Words hold true
Where do I stand?
The day, moment and hour
Darkened walls with authority
The time getting shorter
Midnight could very well be the second
Death calls
I have only one breath
The hour
Time out
I die.

Humans are like magnets,
There are links between us,
Through our minds, we are connected,
Our minds trestle the bridge between us.

The mind is where the dream starts,
The mind is where the vision is birthed,
It opens the door to reality,
It chauffeurs the visible.

Nature speaks,
Its voice is heard in the tranquil of the mind,
It tells us where the lost can be found,
Its message is received in the stillness of the soul.

There’s a life force around the sun,
There’s a power it bestows,
There's an energy it gives,
The sun is the glory of nature.

We are travelers on this wild terrain
Heading timorously towards an unknown goal
Ever tossed by the vicissitudes of life
Fated to partake evenly of smiles and tears 
All the paths we tread along
Finally converge on a single spot
At the tomb, we just pause awhile
To resume our journey to lands beyond
From the experience I have with life
I am able to download the great wisdom, 
That all what counts is how well we live 
And not how long we have been here.

So, mend your life as your conscience directs.
Bridge the gap between words and deeds.
Believe your heart knows what is best
It will show the route you should take
Faith and Hope together brightens life
But love is the magic key opening every heart!

Quote: You are not responsible for the blindfolders on others child,  
but you will be held accountable for the many times you failed
to show them sight, through your own wisdom and experience.  

He was in a boat drowning and the serpents were all around him 
longing for dry land, he kept paddled in circles getting no where; 
Always aiming for the vortex that sucked brave men in 
he never looked up for guidance, nor o'er the horizon afar. 
His tar stained fingers had witnessed too many dry days on land 
and his eyes bloodshot eyes, still recalled the day he found her dead.
From inside the Kingdom of God, a dove cried and a woman wept 
then as gently as she could, she kissed both eyes and whispered 
" this way is home" 
Love is an ocular rinse that shows the way in all things, 
love is the path to truth, the spiritual delve of Saints and Sinners alike.  
He made it home safely, with the guidance of His beloved departed wife.

Sometimes, wisdom comes like a flash of lightning 
that beams so bright to charge the brain; 
An instant insight, a sudden knowing 
that comes in cluster like the pouring rain. 

Sometimes, even mere looking 
makes one seem to know what people think; 
There's not even a sign, not even whispering; 
One just can sense within a blink. 

At times, some things are so familiar 
like one had known them previously; 
But its the brain that acts so peculiar; 
It wants to learn things instantly. 

Sometimes, in dream and imagination 
that the universe makes things revealed; 
Flash of inspiration or lucid volition;
Sometimes it leaves no things concealed. 

Others say it's Divine Provision 
when one knows instantly without even learning; 
For, it was God that gave the intuition 
to discern things just by mere looking.

A Wisdom Download 

One Sunday morning
When walls in pale hues of sage
Coaxed me into a womb of praise
Hard pews reminded me to listen
Rather than slip back into sleepy malaise
As wisdom tapped me on the shoulder
Then tied a hallowed string around my finger
 Reminder!
  Remember!
  Throw off que sera sera into ditches of blind fate!
Embrace
 This sparkling celestial a-ha
Where wisdom drips like honeyed dewdrops
 From tangled spider webs
In the holy chalice of choice
 Sacred silence births wisdom
From a question now poised and posing
To change the direction of my pilgrim tides –
 A river flowing in not out –
Cross waters for my soul
 Choose the burden of my insatiable ego
	Or
 Amazing grace that soars casting off millstones
WAM or WAY
What About Me?
	Or
What About You?
Inferno of never burning divine fire
 To purify my mindless, untamed intentions
  Into grace of gold for my quester spirit
Me - first
	Or
You - first
What about this divine way!
To walk in sunrise or choose midnight?
What about….

Wisdom Download

Like a computer downloads memory
Like a story gets passed on
I’m downloading my wisdom
To the ones who are still young.
If I want to be remembered
As someone that you knew
I’ll have to share all that I know
A gift from me to you.
Here are some things that I’ve learned,
Through heartbreak and through  strife
Words can pierce the strongest heart
More effective than a knife.
Words that are left unspoken
Can protect or they can bruise,
But a heart that’s worn upon your sleeve
Is easy to abuse.
Some may want to hurt you
They feed off your tears
If living is the best revenge
I’ll stay alive for years.
Don’t be afraid of the darkness
Don’t be afraid of pain
The ones who try to hurt us
Will be trying but in vain
Life is meant for living
It’s shorter than you think
It won’t be long till you’ll be with me
Standing on the brink.
Cheerful is overrated
It’s watery and fake
Live your life to be joyful
Till you are in the ocean’s wake.
I’m downloading my wisdom
Passing from me to you,
So take this knowledge, learn some more
And then pass that on too.

If I Had a Computer Instead of Just a Phone I Would Be Able To Download a Picture of My Face

If only I had a computer

As opposed to this here phone
I have and currently still possess
to write and post upon this site 

Which only provides me with a
certain amount of limited functionality 

Then I would then at least be 
enabled to thus provide you a 
picture of myself 

And what both I and my actual real
face look like in the flesh

Upon which you then could base
to judge me on the cover of my book
of virtual poems 

And put a face as well as to my name
and see or judge for yourself does it
match or does it fit

What at 1st you had at or did have
in your own mind

And whether or not the cut of my gib
and outwardly appearance

Leaves you either pleasantly surprised

Or otherwise leaves you wishing you
rather I hadn't or you had

As it's left you sadly not wanting to
but having and being unable to do
anything else but view me as a
turn off 

But sadly so much like my writing
is like the big reveal

I only possess have and was born
with 1 face and this is it

Just like I only have 1 way of also
both writing and thinking

And this is it

Laptop frustration torments my eyes

I watched the screen gritting my teeth

Do this then that and then go into there

My eyes were like a cat at a tennis match

Play it again Sam. Rewind step by step

I still have no idea what he did! I scream

‘Nothing works the way he said, nothing 

Happens how it does in his world!’

No sound yet the green lines are zooming 

Up and down. ‘There,’ he said. ‘If you

Liked this video tap the subscribe and ring 

The bell.’ 

Back to the start, do it again, his sickly

Knowing smile, drives me insane. He’s 

Got a different icon to me, how did he

Do that? I couldn’t see!

I slap the laptop closed and grab a fistful 

Of hair. I kick off my shoes in utter despair!

Two days later, I solved the mystery

And finally I can do it, the same way as he!

WONDERSTRUCK

One day, I was doing some work,
My dad came and gave me a jerk,
Told me to follow silently,
I obeyed him excitedly,
I asked him what it was about,
He said, “Look”, and cleared all my doubt;

A garden lizard was digging
Patiently, as time was ticking,
I sat in a chair, watched in awe,
How she was digging with her paw;

I saw two more garden lizards,
One looked much like grandpa wizard,
The other must’ve been her husband,
They seemed to be unaccustomed
To whate’er was happening there,
I could only in wonder stare;

Soon she turned and slowly settled,
Started laying eggs, so little,
One by one, they dropped in the hole,
Fifteen cute eggs, all white and whole;

I was wonderstruck at that sight,
A once-in-a-lifetime delight,
I thank God for His creations,
And for that day’s revelations,
Nature’s beauty leaves me spellbound,
God’s wonders everywhere surround.
