I wrote a documentary
that would have won a BAFTA
But nobody would fund it
It was not what they were afta
I pitched the plot to Netflix
cuz they have a lot of money
They sent me packing, laughing
“Don’t call us, we’ll call you, Sonny”
I lastly pitched to Paramount
hoping they’d save the day
They took one look at me
shook their head and said, “No way!”
It’s such a shame that no one knows
your worth unless you’re famous
I always seek some solace from
those cookies made by Amos …
Famous (yummy) Amos (yummy)
“Makes your eyes light up (and)
Your tummy say ‘Howdy.’”
Samantha, my cat, put on her glasses
and sat by the tv today..
Besides being cute she's very astute
at keeping winter blues at bay..
When she can't find her pen, she'll
turn on CNN and see what their
commentators say,
but it's really not her turf so other
channels she'd surf, until she saw some thing okay..
Samantha found the Migration of Birds and if a cat
could speak words, "that documentary was awesome" she'd say.
I step inside Walmart with no pep
today is silent with hardly any talk
there waiting for me to put in cent’s
surprised, yeah
one shouts not a penny
a penny I will give them
for waste of wait time and effort
not a new shiny one
but a old dirty one
he’s heading home
tomorrow we know he won’t be out
complete dirty work over-sleep
take naps while we trade off
no worries tomorrow we’ll take you
then bind you
It’s December on the docks
But I’m dressed for July
And I’m shivering and cold
Under a bleak winter sky.
There’s just piles of rubble
Where Chandlers stores stood
Homeless folk are gathered
Around bonfires of wood.
An old Fridge Freezer lies
Among bricks, dust and weeds,
Already a fly dumping ground
It seems rubbish just breeds.
An old mattress on the road
Has been set alight
Adding more despair to
This once vibrant site.
The wind drifts the smoke
As I walk back to the car
Just a few more yards
Not really very far.
That’s enough for today,
I’m really far too old
To be dressed for summer
And be shivering with cold.
I’m emotionally exhausted
And very close to tears
Thinking of all the hardship
Over the last hundred years.
It’s all recorded for now
While it still lasts
For posterities sake
And for the sake of our past.
Currently watching a documentary
About a successful renowned
footballer
Who's home life was thus
Father beat him on every occasion
His mother told him she wished
he was never born
So he played out at school
by means of ill discipline
Yet went on to become and
make a success of himself
And yet i bet he would give
up every inch of his success
Every goal scored , medal won
and International appearance
For his mother to tell him
she loved him
Or his father not to raise his
hand to him
And to show him any form of
affection at all
Because success to him
Is not was it is to us
And should have been to him
And why i just seen him
Crying in his old school teachers
arm's
Who he cherishes so much
Terrible thing
WHEN IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT
BUT YOU END UP PERPETUATING IT
BECAUSE IT'S ALL YOU KNOW
Say Dog See Dog
By David J Walker
How much easier it would be
If dreams came with closed captioning
And a laugh-track
and perhaps Applause
at appropriate intervals
A deep-voiced narrator
and serious music
Could help explain each frame in
Historic context
of tonight’s documentary
And if the editor could include
soft dissolves Between transition in scenes
I could better Resolve discrepancies
in timelines
Say Dog
See Dog
Comes to mind
if I were writing the script
For this double feature
And by the way
Black & White is dramatic
But I would shoot in color
Defined as dull or lacking luster
it became the word they used to
speak of O'aho.
who's real name was Cephalopod
but none would speak of the person
with that name.
Instead for days, they would look
at him and not speak, than one day
when his food looked and smelled
best, those who ignored him
started speaking to him.
They defined their acts as Selachim-Orpha,
the act of not ignoring.
than when he found love he gain a
comprehensive understanding
of their ways, from those who knew
what should be said to get those things needed.
the woman of his choosing said he was
"ALucktwit, which is defined as a person who
should be appreciative of being loved.
this was in opposition of being a
Nuna-lufa which is defined as an unloved person.
The gaining of these understandings were
then tested with the "Omsale-Hcnarb" which
made Alucktwit into a husband.
Boiling head
troublesome desires
searching hands
open mouth
storehouse belly
restless limbs
curious camera eyes
laboratory tongue
test tube nostrils
and software brain
but no device for replay
the rich documentary
If any of you happen to be Netflix members,
you may want to put this on your DVD list.
I've never viewed a more touching film that has ever been presented like this.
It's titled Billy The Kid but it is NOT about the famous young cowboy legend.
It's about a high school boy who struggles with a condition
known as Asperger Syndrome.
Everyone can plainly see that he's unique, different from the majority,
but that doesn't take away anything regarding his endearing, sweet personality.
I just thought I'd share the above with all of you. It's a very inspiring documentary.
Tonight on TV
A generation defined
Radical and loud
Where was I back then?
Out in the garage painting
Trying to make my mark
Forming a collage
Fragments of experience
Quietly plodding
The music was on
The words fillling up my head
Fantasy pressures
Yearning to belong
Cautious laughing at the jokes
Not understanding
The rockers look old
They have white hair like I do
But they are still cool
Weathered by the drugs
Recalling their youthful pranks
Gratefully clinging
Life is not one thing
Even in the good old days
Changes come so fast
Challenging us all
To remember the good parts
Letting the fame die
Documenary
Justifying for all time
Remembering lives
