SUN SETS

Simmering Setting Sun scattering squashy rays kissing horizon
flashing golden glow on sapphire sky to blush
pasting soft shy patches in crimson hue
in zest and zeal with zephyr brush.

Sun sets and spreads displays spectacular rays !
Fantastic pictures shown on sky album.
Drastic dispersion in queue of rays at random !
Setting Sun rays in sober style
         get reflected, refracted, diffracted
to paint on canvas of sky in multicolour patterns.

Weary bird to fly towards nest in slow moving dusk
Whimsy torn clouds welcoming eve on dusty mask.
Serene Sun bids bye, bows to sky.
         Tranquil twilight turns pale periwinkle.
Hazy halcyon horizon in indigo border line.
Sublime solitude stepping soft following sundown.

CAPTIVATED

On lazy noon at non-busy hours
      Me feeling dizzy
to watch chandelier hanging in central hall
        sometime slightly swinging
by soft wind coming through window.
Crystals, strips of cut glass tinkling sweet.

Shimmering Sun rays entering through glasses
       reflected, refracted, diffracted
         displaying spectrum,
           flashing dazzling designs
            embellishing walls and ceiling.
             Not mere decent but magnificent
                in sparkling splendour
                in whimsical wonder.

My eyes are glued to spectacular charming patterns:
          Continuous changing altering
           as chandelier swaying slow.
           Me got captivated
            not to leave the view
though eyes are tired inviting sleep.
              I swim in drowsiness
               I sink in dulcet dreams.

No Shadows After Sunset

Long human silhouettes at eventide.
Dry lips, coruscating eyes, hungry souls, a lakefront view.
Water shimmering in the diffracted coral beam; upcoming moonlight.
Pair of warm and cold hands.
Cool evening breeze against golden and olive skin.

Fleeting instants after 6 p.m.;
Perfect moments don't last long,
Seconds of solace,
Concealed is the day by azure-colored ripples.

Will they lose themselves too?
Like the lost shadows after sunset.
Immersing in their soul and the night.
The irony of being moonstruck at dusk.

Peace or grief?
A nostalgic dilemma;
Is this what it means to be human?
Being haunted by your sweetest day memory at night.

Almost 8 Billion

We’re the electromagnetic spectrum;
Particles, waves, almost eight billion strong.
To coherent frequencies some belong,
some divided by color through prism.
Varying energies from low to high,
narrowly diffracted photons scatter.
Lacking mass, believing we don’t matter,
Invisible to the unaided eye.

Synchronized, polarized, amplified beams,
collimated waves propagating dreams,
refracted rays bend to reflected streams
We may choose to oscillate to and fro
by joining a wave in communal flow,
or as single sparks in diffusive glow

Premium Member This Is War

These are not wars,
These are not soldiers.
These are games,
These are pawns.
Pit against one another by Kings, Queens; their Bishops and their Rooks.
Hiding, yet again, behind what they took.

Look not to the knights in armor,
Which shine with none other than reflection,
Of those faces who grimace and wince behind iron,
Only to be diffracted into the shields of another’s cast.

Tyranny once beheaded by the behemoth of forfeiture,
Now thrives cringing at the sight beneath its hand.
As black and red trickles in cubic matrimony,
‘Tween those who choose others to fall flat in their own game.

Choose your wars,
Choose your soldiers.
For this is but a game,
We are the pawns pit against one another;
Locked with useless ebony and ivory keys,
To perform for the royal court, yet again.

Premium Member The Birth of Hope

A photon wave, I lighten the broadest vista,
not a nook that has ever contained me,
unable to choose between two dark eyes
my ripples enter both simultaneously
striking but one heart, I'm free.

One light is all that can exist
and though I am but a fragment
the chance of you not surfing
my expanding disturbance of space-time
is infinitesimally small.

Let us rejoice then however many times
our reflected waves may interfere
and celebrate our massless voyage
that always reaches outward,
diffracted at times but determined.

To stay the course our heart's desire,
our memories will last as long as
God still looks to future days,
recognizing in our tiny spark,
the birth of universes He has yet to dream.

So, you and I live on in time,
how could one dream forget another,
what God has joined with, in His heart,
cannot be torn asunder,
for as He Is, I Am, and You Are - always mine.

Premium Member Sunset Crystals

Sunsets are like gemstones tossed into a lake made of sky,
Skipping amethyst, quartz and cat's eye across the horizon's tide.

Diffracted photons from the sinking sun shoot as though shot from a pistol,
Beams of bullets shatter the chandelier of the scattered incandescent crystals.

Point of No Return

Point Of No Return

Nor here or there we stand before creations
Stardust secretions with loving limitations
Heaven bounded in the lap of lachrymal lure
Multiverse in reverse as we euphorically endure

Immaculate infernal of soul’s conception
Divine destiny draws us to deaths deception
Holographic injections of celestial skies
Soothing stimuli of diffracted disguise

Fragile flowers falling into edacious eternity
Theatrically thrown upon mammoth mystery
Cosmic castrations of redundant rebirth
Sanctioned slaves of this emancipated earth.

The Brightest Star

THE BRIGHTEST STAR

To view the brightest violent star,
that glints and glitters from it's scar.
It's life is burning, blurred and far,
we cannot know, just where they are.

The brightest star takes breath and lives,
in sparks and flares, it dusts through sieves.
From a faint galaxy home, it gives,
a joy and bliss, it winks and lives.

Delightful in which one contemplates,
It is our neighbor that winks and waits.
Away our breath it reels and takes,
and puzzles us with the home it makes.

Refracted, Diffracted, Inflected light,
splayed from slight of eye to sight of site.
Tucked in berth, by birth, to be in flight,
Camouflaged the brightest star in white.
