When time splits in two...
One you're looking for and one looking for you
You're waiting for someone you don't know yet
And you're not getting any younger 
You've captured the rhyme but lost the poetry
The road seems bleak but familiar

THE DICHOTOMY OF TIME

May we be blessed to understand the dichotomies of time….
(For dichotomies is something time shall never lack!)
It’s free…yet it’s priceless
and once you’ve lost it…you can never get it back.

A Story of Dichotomy

The tumults of organized lives
Often brings happiness but sadly, much strife
As we crawl hastily to our eminent demise
We realize without birth there is no life
Without life, there is no death
Without you, there is no us
Life appears to be
A random state of organized chaos

THE DICHOTOMY OF GROWTH

May we be blessed to understand 
the beautiful dichotomy of our growth……

How some days we are the teachers…
some days we’re the students…
and some days..we are both.

My job is in the office,
My bread is in the kitchen,
Yet it haunts me as 
My life I am losing.

My dream tells me so -
The only way to vision her
Long brown hair.
Autumn, wood, cacao, seeds.

My clothes are in the closet,
My neighbours next door,
Still this plague wins
Called loneliness.

Ghosts in their chilly houses
Seem a relative now.

Summer soil melded 
between bloodied feet. 
There is gravel stuck 
between bone and soul
 in their arch. A curve, 
a signature that belongs 
to an individual, it is
yours and only yours.

There is this dichotomous relationship within the alphabet…
for the letters therein contained
can be used to create words of joy…of love…of happiness…
as well as words of hatefulness…and pain.

words of wonder…
words of beauty
words that fill a heart with joy
as well as
words of anger
words of spite
words that can…a soul destroy.
