We Giving Back Love To Nature

No need to ruin rainforest
It can be done in the desert
By planting trees or palm trees
To avert desertification
I see africa is turning green
I see Gobi Desert is getting green
How God has given man a chance
To rectify our forefathers aggrieved
Nature affluence and reaping poorly
Singapore rose to economic guru
Did not forget greening its cities
Environment is love by Environmentalist
Nature is worshipped by gods
Man is human who keep his surroundings safe
Love begets love when we take care of nature.

Premium MemberThis I Believe

I had a dream...

I am sleeping on a cloud. Upon awakening, I gaze at planet earth below. From my vantage point I can see the globe in its entirety. Something has changed. Before falling asleep I was watching the news. It spoke of war, inflation, hatred and prejudice. There was talk of deforestation, desertification, plastic pollution and radiation poisoning. People were fighting, they were killing. Spilled blood was everywhere, staining the beauteous land.

But the world I am seeing now is at peace. The lion sleeps with the lamb. People from all cultures, nations and languages are living in harmony, a true rainbow of mankind. The air is sweet, the waters pure and clear as crystal. Instinctively, I get down on my knees and pray to the God of heaven, as tears of confusion and joy stream down my face. A soft, low voice from above calls to me: "My son, no need for tears any longer. Look! I have made all things new." It is only then I understand, this is no dream after all. I am in paradise!

Premium MemberNature's Stern Warning

Extreme temperatures
Melting of glaciers
Rising sea level
Wildfires
Forests' obliteration
Draughts
Drying up of lakes and rivers
Desertification
Hurricanes
Storms
Floodings, and
Landslides
Is the vocabulary, Mother Nature uses, to
Pen ts stern warning to Man:

" Oh, you thoughtless being, mind your ways and revere,
my eternal laws of harmonious cooperation and coexistence
otherwise, unable would I be to provide for your subsistence."

For more than two weeks the temperatures in Greece have been around
40 Celcius. Sometimes, like today it is 45.
During this period wildfires are raging across the country. It comes a day that
our firefighters are trying to contain more than eighty fires.

Premium MemberApocalypse When

A blinding flash our planet will crash
To drab desertification
Burning up and drying out
To dust our monuments
Nowhere can we hide
Bleaching our bones
 With white heat
Caught cold
Doomed

Premium MemberOde To De Words

There was a time when words were derived,
not slovenly crafted with prefixes.
When drain meant to let the water out.
When cast from window, meant to throw it out.
That was before the arrival of de- words
De-water means to drain, why not just drain the water out?
Defenestration is de- French for, throwing someone or something from a window
Deforestation is chopping down the trees
Decoupling is divorce, or detachment of carriage from engine.
Demystify is to remove the spook.
Departmentalise is to open the gates on open day to the silos.
Depolarise is inclusion .
Depigmentation is to bleach or whiten.
Desensitise is to get over, your touchy self.
Desalinate is to go easy on the salt-shaker.
Detoxify is to flush and cleanse.
Desertification is to water the parched fields.
Dehumanise is the demise of individuality.
Demise is goodbyes.
Come On,
Let's End the De-s
De-End

We Have Only Ourselves To Blame

The way we live now seems barely the same,
Enduring one ecological disaster after another.
It’s obvious we have only ourselves to blame
For changing the climate and the weather.

Enduring one ecological disaster after another:
Rampant forest fires, pollution, desertification.
For changing the climate and the weather -
Too much industrialization and deforestation!

Rampant forest fires, pollution, desertification…
Species extinction from loss of natural habitats;
Too much industrialization and deforestation!
We’re destroying everything, everywhere, like spoiled brats.

Species extinction from loss of natural habitats???
It’s obvious we have only ourselves to blame!
We’re destroying everything, everywhere, like spoiled brats.
The way we live now seems barely the same.

Premium MemberFirst Presidential Alert

I got my first Presidential Alert today
Did you
too?

It was alarming
near the middle of the afternoon
to receive this reminder,
He's still President?
Watch out!

As a candidate
he promised us he would do nothing
to improve our weather
and, in fact,
would strongly support Business As Usual
so we could plan on even more severe subclimates
of internal and external pathology--
bilateral climate anxiety
works competitively both ways.

Severe Presidential Alerts
are alarming
but probably necessary acknowledgement
the WhiteHouse denies human contribution
to causing severe climatic harm
and thereby perhaps hopes to avoid expensive global reparations,
responsible repairs
reforesting
un-desertification liabilities,
reinvestments in non-violent health care giving
and receiving with all mattered lives

Now green death shattered by severe climate necessities
of ultra-violet Presidential Alerts

Watch out!
Patriarchal grabbing and transparent extracting,
squeezing and penetrating pain
at Presidential work
against health and love
of future sacred mattered Lives
of Earth herself.

Premium MemberSnowballs Melting Fast

Yesteryear’s child rolled in the snow all flakes blazing in frosted happy crystals
Broke through ice on winter scape lakes and warmed with steaming chocolate
Roasted chestnuts on sticks in the fireplace thawed glowed marvelling joy
Hot molten marshmallows mellowed frost bitten hands soothed adventurous soul
Winters were glorious with immaculate seasons greeting revolving excitement

Nostalgia romantic reminiscence foresight or withering delight’s sadness
Miraculous icicles descending dripping noses silently disappeared
Memories evaporated forgotten glaciers relinquished destroyed
Ravishing blistering heatwaves desertification thirstiness
Aggrandised humanity's perverted ‘advancement’
Tsunamis hell frozen

Conscience obliterated
Snowballs

Who Can Save

A man laid before you a pen and a papyrus sheet,
Speak your mind,
Is there any fire without heat?
What about door without side?
Segmented to the heathens,....Immoral,
Creatures rebukes the existence of the creator,
Aristotle drawing origination of man,
Ape as miniature, genius and species as repremand,
Stream to the experimentation,
Diluting cube of sugar in blood,
Anophele mosquitoes in combat,
Yearning for comfort, entwined with desertification and compact ,
What men sort for is always achieved by someone of dead age,
Sadness in my heart rage,
Impacting wisdom to my brain,
Prayer assigned for someone to kick a bucket,
Numbered days to gain,
Soon will sublime with dust in six feet hidden casket,
Trusted in our parental figure,
Never speak on second chance for our favour...
A basket carrying crates of egg,
Five unfilled baskets beside a bed,
Hurricanes smashing thousand folds of gnats,
Parasites still breaking wall,
Working without facts,
Thus what men draw,
Heart of men full of madness,
In my room,miles men stress,

Drawing Lines

Sometimes people live too close to one another
with the scent of lives overlapping lines
psyches stepping on toes and
problems bleeding in through doors & windows.

Neighbors crying, remonstrating, manipulating, and copulating
demonstrating the need for soundproofing or renovating
as we wave the next day our smiles ingratiating
because its at their expense our needs we’ve been satiating

and the building goes on.

Some stress “urban sprawl” others cry “urban blight.”
Yet developers rub hands with piggish delight
Smart animals follow the birds, which take flight
and poor confused deer become targets at night.

Yet the building goes on.

Big boxes, small boxes, strip malls and stores,
McDonalds, and Wendy’s, and Bed Bath and More
Family Dollars and State Liquor Stores
Pawn Shops and Nail Shops and

and . . .

when trees are memories
fish bellies rise like steam from warm waters
and desertification has become "the new black."
Perhaps then we will draw a line in the sand.

Self Destruction

Tell them oh! sun
Why your rays fall harsh
Making global warming.
Tell them of desertification
Melting of the arctic
They know not my language.

Ask them why the green gas
Why industrial smoke ?
Speak oh! sun.
Let us all learn
Complain oh! sun
Someone must listen.

Speak oh! rain
Tell them why you flood
And why you loose your pattern.
Tell them why you fail to fall
Making drought, famine
You have your voice.

Shout oh! rivers
Tell them why you dry
Why you change color.
Complain about industrial dumping
About deforestation
Something must change.

Wind speak up
Stand up and be counted.......
Tell them why the hurricanes
Cyclones and tempests
Why you breeze less no more
You have a voice of your own.

Tell them oh! soil
Why you loose fertility
I am sure it is not age.
Complain about the farming methods
The chemicals
Herbicides and pesticides.

Rise oh! waters
The lakes, seas and oceans
Why you anger
Giving us fish no more
Making angry waves and tides
They are responsible.

Stand oh! air
Say why you are so stuffy
Talk about pollution
Speak for the trees
Arise and stand
In the wind talk to them.
