I thought I had grasped it once, like the Arabian myrrh.
Then it started fading like dew before the morning sun.
Legends say that the musk of a deer dwells within its fur.
Ignorant knowing or knowing ignorance is soul-spun.

A tinge of infidelity is pleasantly blended.
Though it provokes the spirit, its toxin brings dizziness.
Our inquisitive questions, like childhood tales, ended
Our feeble thoughts, words, and deeds have been filmed with flimsiness.

Those little surprises with which we won each other's hearts
Those syllables of sensitivity that we uttered
Those thrill-filled waits to share our meals with flavours of all sorts
Have quietly demised as in slow death, mind gets fluttered.

Come, love. It's not late yet. Let's leave those nightmare memories.
Let's set new goals. Share. Care. Let's fill our hearts with mysteries.

Pretty Girl Flying Above The Yellow Flowered Fields

Asphalt black gets blacker still
In the total calm, sounds disappear
Wind gives up the sin of motion
Ocean tides know no boundaries
Only the pain of waves slapped back

Over the top, tippy top of mountains
Whispering over times broken spine
Step lightly. Feel the darkness there
Fill in the crevasses of the demised
It is wise to remain in silence

Snow rocked slopes grow into boulders
Once upon a drift they failed to fall
Into sleep, through no fault known
And through no fault of their own

See gray in a world gone immobile, inert
Wonder through the buried concrete slabs
Find another tunnel less dug by minors
The age of consent is over and done
Asphalt black is getting blacker every day
In the total calm there is only silence

Premium MemberMilo Hates Christmas

I adopted a cat around Thanksgiving
He was the sweetest thing in the beginning
To my surprise
He’s in disguise
With The Joker kitty I am now living

This balmy yuletide season Milo despised
My silver tinseled Christmas tree he demised
Never expressing gratitude
A clawing catty attitude
Yet a contented kitty I have surmised

Premium MemberDeath Doesn'T Know Compromise

Near the local library in my sweet little town lies
Greenlawn Cemetary where peace abounds..
An open field bursts in tawny golds like a Monet.
Flitting yellow butterflies land briefly and then fly away..
The Allegheny Mountains provide a panoramic view for
those demised and their visitors too.
Each engraved headstone, a tribute to one whose gone is
meticulously spaced a part on it's well manicured lawn.
Miniature flags were planted so one never forgets the
wars of our past and all are brave vets..
A few sturdy benches coated in gloss offer up a place to sit
and mourn the one you've lost..
It's quite serene, dignified, I remain seated in my car,
sharing in their solitude from a far..
From flesh and blood to earth's rich mud, so many stories,
so many lives.
All are born and all must die, death doesn't know compromise.

Premium MemberCloak and Dagger of a Distant Time

He just ran off the cliff.
The witnesses said something looked to have drove him wild.
A lady said that she saw a cloaked figure and then that figure just disappeared out of sight.

He had just been acquitted of that murder case, found not guilty at that trial.
Taken the land and the wealth of that family by some legal loopholes and lines.

The judge spoke of the past and how the case was similar to one of another time.
With the same names of people involved and the same motives and family ties.

Except one hundred years ago his ancestor walked free to a privileged life.
The other family disappeared into the destitution and poverty of that life.

Now a curse was brought upon the titled name of the demised. It’s said an invisible force would be forever watching through invisible eyes.

It’s said that if another of that family name was found innocent of their guilt by the legal powers that preside.

Justice would be served by a cloaked dagger that would strike from a distant time.

Downed Bird In Repose

A loud squawk heralds a cry for help
Indicates something’s not quite right up there
A white seagull spirals down head first
Wings tucked to the side for safety

The impact signals something else
With a thud that meets the burning sand
The flight plan? Suicide? Friendly fire?

In silence the ocean waves over the expired
Giving blessings as best it can off shore
Clouds bulk up in cumulus nimbus numbers
In slumber the sun keeps social distancing
In gray the bay teaches crabs to dance
To stay back. Don’t walk on land.
Don’t talk to strangers.

Hawks, buzzards, circle the situation
Never far from home are troubles up above
Heaven recovers nature in an hour glass of sand
Mounds of sands are another term for dunes
Smoothed over by the hand of God

Still intact, winds lift a phantom wing
Animated feathers salute. Wave good-bye
From what we can surmise
From the bird demised

Premium MemberThot Commodity

Sent to grateful receivers, tied tissue paper package
Thinnest high pitched crinkles subdue outside sound
Drama sits by desire's side, scrunched ball wreckage

Item shines silent where tempting excitement's found
Picked up then turned in tunnel light, trim translucent
Resplendent sexual asset show, shop front renowned

From suicidal prospect, she radiates ready road ahead
Track paved in pledges strictly forbidding promiscuity
Attempting claimant admits her promises are pretend

Selecting occurs in empty moments, potential aligned
Perfecting her pitch to victims strewn along spectrum
Hypergamy erects ladders, to one's class not confined

Feminine walks lace edge assurity, swish skirt pretty
Tightly tuned to humour tugging tower church chime
Sprawl peals of laughter tartan on grass sits a picnic

Intimating intentions when ecstacy resonates from loins
Parading a masquerading charm, undeniable ticked time
Dishes out affection already demised lest limitless coins

Premium MemberBecame An American From Shangshi

Jasmine petals fall same as ashes from burnt incense,
Superimposed the demised who lays in hallowed rest,
A jar and vase on a marble stone, near a picket fence,
A man of the Buddhist faith who fought with the best,
Died for his country, a faithful man was truly blessed.

Unknown Child

Fragile baby so innocent and bare ,
Without a chance of air your heart was seized ,
Unknowing and fearful , the one who gave you life , also savaged your soul.
Twisted the knots of who were going to be , no a lifeless body with no purpose,
What a shame a beautiful soul was took from the earth due to the vacuous minds
                                                of others.
Torn from existence you a wait to met your master, while your mother rejoices from your demise. Little does she know the actions of her recision demised a part
                                            of her vitality.

The Last of the Strong Ones

The battle is over,
Herald are sent and uncovered.
Elites are deported from the nook and crannies.

Leaders of the war are now demised.
Aggression and oppresion escoted love;
Serendipities of hoity clamour are shoved.
Time came and gone

Overruled by peace life moves on.
Frights of bullets escaping from the pistol glottis deceased.

Truck of ammunitions had all their periods missed.
Halt of demolition thrived,
Elated hearts, adorned souls again did rise- but

Some are paralyzed, two eyes with no hand.
Trance of ambiguity made more of them strand.
Resting in afflicted peace; the casualties.
Of all the dead, their breath hold unto them atleast.
Night seemed a breaking new dawn,
Graced with deception and truthful morn.

Origin of the clan is again renovated,
News and joyful dirge are transported.
End of all comes; rumour of clamour;but onething life owns;
Strong ones eat the teeth-breaking part of the bone.
