In these mountains, where I’m from, peace amazes,
With nostalgic beauty, its gentle praises.
Silence whispers to souls, believers know love,
Breathless inklings linger, a calm from above.
Love this alive and perfect surely blazes.

In these mountains, where the sun reflects, dazes,
Harmonizing with shadows, carefree phases
Beyond the oaks and pines, I found my truelove…
	In these mountains…

As the stars climb higher on twilight’s gazes,
Beyond the moonlit night, twinkling wish raises,
Gentle faith abides, reminding there’s Godlove,
Secreted beneath wonders of the sweet dove,
Within the heart and spirit, His love raises,
	In these mountains…

The Knight was knit on a knockout night.
A batch of bare bears within blissful sight.
Right rowed rode on rigorous royal insight.
Whither or wither, writ warned of a worn write.

Douse the drip and dowse to drum up dew.
Alas allowed the altar rite to alter aloud knew.
Wax warmer upon waves of aqua blue.
Caught in the caudle caudal circuit of one or two.

Halting hair like an idol, idle as a hush hare.
Hearsay's hollows handle heinous and flare.
Can a sane person seine in a water glare?
I fear that a note knob rejects the nob affair.

Leaches of joy leech open or open-free.
I will not feign the fane's favor as a feint fee.
Dazes detained the deal to droop a drupe as a flea.
If a blast blows a blue home, it finds a way to flee.

In contrast well on the other hand seems like
opposites attempting to catch the wind. Exerting to resolutions, connecting, and associations. A goal one's mirror of one's mind, A afterthought? often dazes in one's head according to one's way of thinking, interconnected ways of linking.

Poetry betrays me
Leaves me naked – vulnerable
Like the first touch of love
Falling all around
Pat pat patting gently
Against a soft heart
Pushing through the black night
Flickering gentle – caressing
Moon beams and starlight
Passionate promises

In breaths – whispers
Laughing like a new dawn
Caresseing the thoughts
With hues of whimsical light
Breaking through the night
Filling the soul with praise
Musical tones
Blessings riding the sea
On sapphire waves
Of contentment
Graceful and grateful
Giving kindness
With open hearts
Who sing courageously
Victoriously

Of sincerity
Poetry
Fills my eyes
Tears shine bright
Flowing with dreams
And silent wishes

I cry
Pieces of life
Dripping vision
From ink so dark
It spills blackness
Filling empty pages up
With a spirits inspiration

Poetry silences my anxious thoughts
With ideas, insights and images
Creative colors
Wise and warm – shadows
Blurry from dewdrops
Delighting in the verse
Poetic prayers
In the eyes
Of one who rides
The fire of life

Poetry praises
Amazes
Dazes

Poetry awakens
God’s phrases

Saber Tooth Tiger Chuck

Above mama’s abode lives Saber Tooth Tiger Chuck,
seems poopy tired, drank three shots under mama’s truck.
Fancy Zebra Ellie loves claws, razor sharp aglow,
Chuck wears green pants, booty often shows below.

Scale tells Chuck carbs aren’t belly proof among lunch,
fussy habit eater; likes round pizza, fatty wings, bunch.
Silly Ellie beams about rebel Bubba, famed city’s baker,
while Chuck ruins five tasty cakes, novel woman taker.

Chuck slugs Bubba; abuse dazes, anger among crowd,
Bubba pukes chili after blood drips, tiger fangs proud.
Three fight until Ellie cried, hoped they’d avoid being stuck,
Bubba gives Ellie five dozen roses...adieu Saber Tooth Tiger Chuck!

Frantically, I walk on a lane of vile secrets,
past glared dazes from hooded eyes
marking me as obsession’s target where a quest
to nail me taunts my fear : with endless
shrieks echoing , “ I will follow you, “ … a voice
raspy as brittle tones imposes its eerie
presence. And I quiver in coiled form,
Helpless, while the breath of uncertainty
wipes the restful assurance of most nights:
In a click of time, life smells danger
knowing not if those taloned hands would
clutch me in the darkness or light.

All at once, I watch myself drenched
In the cloud of foreboding , torturing
my lucid hours now haunted by one
incensed predator. Until I confront this
ghastly shadow laden with karmic
sins, wolves of yesterday assaulting my every
breath's intake…that I come face to face
with this damned nemesis in guileful pursuit

and the nemesis which haunts my spirit …is me.

Who Is Thief

One who seats in a soft turning
Sofa lessened with the pride
of hopping and relaxed foams.
Turning the leaves of booklets,
Caressing the depth of hidden
figures.
He takes up the crying object,
Filled it tears on the seductive
pages of the leaflet.
Then after the leaflet is soaked.
He's gone with '7.5 billion naira'.

And.....

One who's been famished.
Striving to meet the standards
of the toads. Lurking under the
shelter of penury,given as a
token to abject poverty.
Being drowned in ocean of
indecision. He measures the path
of the market to get his worm
pleased by claiming what's not
out to be claimed.
Then he was caught: Anxious tyre,
Mensurated petrol,Elating matches
dazes and escorted him to the realm.

Who is supposed to die?
The former or the latter?

Who is the thief?

'ke a Joyful Noise

Ajosh form of sonnet...

'Kill thy glottis pride.
Endow the Lord and take him on ride.

A joyful shout that dazes the earth.

Joy trampling on joy, life strangling death.
Over princes,kings and queens.
Yuletide season,when he did reign.
Fear your layrnx with an earth-quaking shout
Usurp your life,praise God,without doubt.
Lend your heart to one who owns it.

Neptune,Venus,Jupiter loves to do it.
Ointment on the feet of one who ever win.
Incense of words to one who'll convey with rapture's train.
Shout,make noise,elate your heart,
Endow the Lord with you praise,Bill your eyes!

The Floating Cloud

I saw the cloud floating in pride,
With the sun taking her on ride.
Not long after,a seperation thrives,
A broken cloud travelling so fast.
The broken cloud joins the foam-y-one,
Giving it anawesome look.
Sooner or later it moves on,
Leaving it the way it before look.
These are how friends are,
Some comes around to give scar.
They don't tends to stay long,
They add a little meaning to your life and their gone.
They makes you feel special,
Dazes you with honour like unto a marshal.
But don't be bewitch'd 'cos he won't stay,
When you notice such,better pray.
Don't be upset when they leave,
'Cos they're bound to go like withered leaf.
When they depart from you,
Seize the impact they've made and combine it with your rule.
Comes many years and days,
They'll be useful just a-day.
Do not send them away,
They'll surely go,but suffer them a-stay.

Strong buildings and walls mark the places
No people, emotions, or faces
Nothing to distract
To pinpoint the fact
That everything about you truly dazes

My senses, my thoughts and willpower
I'm fading away by the hour
I'm drawing my wall
On my arm, till you call
Till you'll be tearing down my strong tower

With your tongue please wipe my resistance
Wipe my wall, erase from existence
Fade the ink from my arm
Make my icy core warm
Kiss me right through the reticence

This small man used to build far too high
Felt like an ant, felt like a lie
Gay seemed a wrong word
Gay sounded unheard
In your arms I stop wondering why

Break down these walls with me tonight
Wipe the ink, wipe all the lies
Fade the once fake me
Fade till you finally see
How I shine smiling in your bright light

The Puzzled Pen

The freedom songs the ******* sing
Every time the bells of slavery ring;

The anthem the shepherd boys scream
When hope is nothing but a dream;

The future beyond their very eyes
Whose passion gets colder than ice;

The tears on those bereaved faces
Of so many people in different places;

The agony of unanswered questions
That tend to unimaginable tensions;

The insults conceded in open shame
When no other would take the blame;

The fears of being for love forsaken
By those for which the choice was taken;

The path on which to softly tread
To never for once miss a daily bread;

The bed of roses on twinkling turns
Changing into ugly and prickly thorns;

These and more dazes this puzzled pen
When in the hands of I, of all men.

Needing My Meeting

Trouble dazes into the spin of day
life hazes eyes with glimmer shimmer sun
and sickness breeds torment for the hear say
and I just try to remain the one sane

brushing teeth, the sound dictates many words,
listening until the rounds are almost done,
morning rising passed the songs of the birds
of idealist's dreams, hopes of this heart's gain.

Into the day come what may the hope resides
the daze and haze still just as strong as hope
I go to meetings where i know love abides
suffering over through these bouts entering

The meeting starts and I begin to hear
how all have felt the power of the dope
shifts and learning's of how to stay near
the addicts end to using in centering

"school Dazes"

On a crisp fall morning the air had turned cool.
We were getting ready for the first day of school.
Mom said"eat your breakfast and grab your coats".
I'm in a hurry mom I got so many books to toat.
Walking outside the wind was blowing, leaves were falling.
We heard a voice holloring it was our mom calling.
She said"hey come back and get your lunch money".
I said thank goodness no more peanut butter and honey.
On our way to school there was a little girl crying.
My older brother said keep walking don't start prying.
I ask her what happened she said she lost her money for lunch.
I said don't cry you can share lunch with the Fuller bunch.
I met my best friend on the first day of school.
Thats why I say bestfriends rule.

Nicotine

Like an ester, she clings
Silver-tongued yet soaked in
Sepia. A perfume of precarious
Yellows and ambers in hues and
Dazes of a light and melodious
Brown. Mustard gas pigments
Filtering onto impure hands
Vapour smog; rampant in clots
Flooding into hair, hands, the leather
Of skin; into an eternity.
Ash collecting like a snow flood
Of monochromes and greys
Fading partially to blanks and
Dances of dirty blonde, promiscuous
Addiction; timeless Bright Young Thing
The very nature of an elixir
All our addictions catch us in the end
The curtain call rupturing on
Barbed wire hands and claws
A hunters' snare; beautiful for only a moment
Catching eternal, ethereal glassy air
