curly sue was enjoying lovely daisies and holly hocks too
she was soon surrounded by flowers of pink, red and blue
a picture was taken and published in a newspaper by Lu
a woman distantly related to the adorable young curly sue

Curly haired girl

She loves to twirl and jump
expressing without a care 
This is a girl that has big curly hair 
her eyes filled with life, makes me want to hug her with all my might.
She can’t sit still, always has something to do 
 Using her imagination, how I wish I could look inside too. 
She’s grown

Hairy Freedom

My hair is wild, as wild as can be. 
It sticks out in all sorts of places, 
It goes through many fits and stages, 
You can’t imagine the myriad of gazes! 
I have curls to a large degree. 
They won’t listen to my plea.  
My hair demands to be free.

Curly haired Carlotta Commandeers a Bus

Curly haired Carlotta brought her curls onto our bus
Filling it up from seat to seat, annoying many of us.
Her hair grew an inch every fifteen minutes you see.
We could barely speak to each other for it was not wee.

The awning of Ovis, a shade from the sun,
Cast patterns of light, where her story begun.
Not rain-streaked glass, but a warm, open space,
Where her curly brown hair framed a captivating face.

Hey, little curly-headed girl
Why are you out here alone?
The darkness is no place for someone like you.

"Pushed down, buried deep."

Drowning in my own existence
Hating life 
But the ultimate passion
I had to have

I grabbed a rock and hit your face
Gasping for air

Once again
my partner didn’t do their part
In science lab
I was alone again 
But you took his place

I never get out

Larry Curly Moe and Shemp

That squirrel is getting to me my cousin lamented.
But the squirrel got killed by a car, and grief fermented.
She had left a nest of babies, all together there were four
Larry fed them with eyedroppers, not afraid of rabies or more

He named them Larry Curly Moe and Shemp; they were now in his care.

Helter-skelter, upper-downer, 
Bigger smaller, richer poorer
Bitter sweeter, kinder meaner
Sifter opener, thicker thinner.

Meek or dumb, pinky and thumb
Top or bottom, height and fathom.
Head or toe, friend and foe
Day or night, left and right.

Larry scoops Moe; Moe swoops Curly
Curly chunks Larry; Larry yanks Moe.

Little Curly Mae

I'm yelling at a squirrel today
Then watching her just whirl away
Her name is Little Curly Mae
She's such a pretty girl I'd say 
But eats the birdseed from the tray
Then hides herself inside her dray.
