Curly wisps
of ebony locks
glistening
with each stroke,
releasing whiffs of jasmine
She combs out her hair.

I'm yelling at a squirrel today
Then watching her just whirl away
Her name is Little Curly Mae
She's such a pretty girl I'd say
But eats the birdseed from the tray
Then hides herself inside her dray.
curly sue was enjoying lovely daisies and holly hocks too
she was soon surrounded by flowers of pink, red and blue
a picture was taken and published in a newspaper by Lu
a woman distantly related to the adorable young curly sue
The magic gem of curly hair,
Procures itself in sodden downpour.
Frizz retracts and curls define,
Revitalised by heaven's moisture.
No brolly required.
No wind-swept locks.
A long-awaited makeover,
Of the most natural kind.

My hair is wild, as wild as can be.
It sticks out in all sorts of places,
It goes through many fits and stages,
You can’t imagine the myriad of gazes!
I have curls to a large degree.
They won’t listen to my plea.
My hair demands to be free.
Blossoms to the spring
Through meadow among small lamb
Wraps the globe in light
Intoxicated fragrance
Garden bursting with snowdrops

curly rainbow haired witch had a dazzling smile and fortitude
She was a Pollyanna, always in an enthusiastically joyful mood
Her classmates hated her, they called her suck up and other names.
She did not care, she was happy being herself, she played no bully games.
Have you seen curly haired witch? The call went down the street
The rest of us did not care, it was October 31st, trick or treat
We did not even look for her, we were busy looking at our candy sack.
Hershey bar houses were marked so next year we could come right back.
Pretty Curly Locks Horn Haiku
Pretty curly locks
We are in a state of shock
Only wore her socks.
Wife Jill said that her hair
keeps curling up and everyone
loves it that way. I do too.

How mild spring comes in
the magic of nature bound
with many soft curls
They crouching close together
folded in each other's hearts
Helter-skelter, upper-downer,
Bigger smaller, richer poorer
Bitter sweeter, kinder meaner
Sifter opener, thicker thinner.
Meek or dumb, pinky and thumb
Top or bottom, height and fathom.
Head or toe, friend and foe
Day or night, left and right.
Larry scoops Moe; Moe swoops Curly
Curly chunks Larry; Larry yanks Moe.
Hey, little curly-headed girl
Why are you out here alone?
The darkness is no place for someone like you.
Little curly-headed girl
Why don't you speak?
What is making you so blue?
"I am not blue nor afraid,"
She flatly states
With an emptiness in her tone.
"I am forgotten,"
"Pushed down, buried deep."
"You decided you were better off alone."
She loves to twirl and jump
expressing without a care
This is a girl that has big curly hair
her eyes filled with life, makes me want to hug her with all my might.
She can’t sit still, always has something to do
Using her imagination, how I wish I could look inside too.
She’s grown so much, i’m so proud
so happy she exists, she’s changed my life around.
Sue, girly snail with eyes of blue
Your charm has bowled over bull frog Drew
He wants to court you, to truly woo
Sorry, said the snail, but my love grew
For another creature, a moth named Woo
But Woo had his eye on his cousin Curly Sue
A caterpillar who was fairly new
A love song that most of us never knew
Keeping this quiet was Drew and Sue
Embarrassed and a bit upset too
There she was
Cute as can be
Laughter in her eyes
A smile on her face
As full of joy
As she could be
Snow white as her gee
Dark brown was her belt
And blacks would quake
Then she was about
With her to fight
Would make a man flee
Cold was her demeanor
Quick was her moves
Ruthless her style
Who would have thought
How could it be
This cute little girl
Made grown men flee
I am a fancy cat with patterns on my back.
My tail is pretty, I am sharp as a tack.
Better clear away, stand away, Mo and Mack.
Up close you might see my beauty and have a heart attack.
Mo and Mack were not amused in the least.
The conceitedness that comes off of this little beast!
Don’t forget we are your parents, they told fancy cat.
Better speak to us with respect. If not, there’s the mat.
Curly haired Carlotta brought her curls onto our bus
Filling it up from seat to seat, annoying many of us.
Her hair grew an inch every fifteen minutes you see.
We could barely speak to each other for it was not wee.
These curls went down the aisle and into the seats.
Two guys sitting on some of it were known as the Petes.
We cannot cut it, they told us, for we did that another time.
Those curls transmogrified into thugs and held us hostage until almost nine.
(Dedicated to Curly Howard who died January 18, 1952.)
You were weird and you were squirrely.
You were the one and only Curly.
You broke millions of hearts when you died in 1952.
You've been dead for a long time but people still love you.
They originally wanted Shemp but couldn't have him so they used you instead.
To become a stooge, you had to shave your head.
You starred in more shows than Shemp or Joe.
Millions of people laughed when you got hit or poked by Moe.
