Let us nurture saplings of wisdom in our youth,
Let us prune away ignorance,

Cultivating a Friendship

Friendships,
are a lot like growing tomatoes.
Both require a certain amount of attention,
and must be allowed to ripen over time,
Not placed on some dark shelf and forgotten until needed.
I’ve found that what I’m willing to put into a friendship,
determines what I get back as a friend.

I have so much in me that's pouring to see
Hear me massive thoughts grasping for air seas to me
Trees elated to transform ability
Lines rhyme submissively
Structured stand statically
Touching places and faces mentally
Who is to be
Greater is He in Me
Given power to tread over serpents deceitfully
Tried to pound cake my senses see
Never to be 
Eyes opened spiritually

Cultivating a Friendship

When my friend Lydia was alive
she made the world
around her thrive,
this garden grew so high
and wide,
you couldn't find the other side.

she had red hair and azure eyes
so like a flower in disguise
perhaps she was a hybrid host
a woman blooming as a ghost
inhabiting this bit of land
to cultivate her garden grand.
