Phoebus

The ocean moon as symbol of soul,
divine vapor and breath of whole.
Incarnated in that formidable eye,
to attain the summit seen in that sky.
Ceaselessly twilight unite,
assisting that love affair so bright.
Surpassing human weakness,
falling just short in divine greatness.
By sleep the soul so vigorous,
  free from senses lustrous.
Hindered deity by bondage of mind,
in sleep behold those wonders kind.
The ability to see the pouring bliss,
  the miracle loves wisdom kiss.
Dimly waking the mind inevitable
  tincture purpose creditable.
Space and time in consequent principle,
  spirit wheel season disciple.
Clouds of egos illusion to realize,
  true purpose endeavors penetrates.
Phoebus the innocent cosmic child,
  is alluring that pondering mind.

The Funeral

Juxtaposed we find
metaphorical possibilities
on the 'oft heard word
"Great.."
in recent discourse..

The funereal gathering
marked with precision
and heartening oratory
celebrated a life representing
a centered consensus..
claiming a greatness
past and present..
but with darkness lapping
in places too close..

The golf outing
with creditable swing
stands circumferential
representing "deplorables" who
find the center not their own..
yet..a clubbing of truth
and a rough savaging
of human interchange
seem as arousal..

Arousal for rejection of
both sides of this
juxtaposition:
Are we witnessing the
birthing of what is "Great"
all anew...?

Revelation

You have ignited a great fire in me
This love affair I could not conceive
All of the normality I have believed
Seems to be a false pretense
You revealed to me
The authentic process of sentiment
My introspective is always of you
Never in several centuries
Did I think these emotions
Would develop to be factual
This feels so natural
You have revealed a creditable future
The thought of being hurt again
Is only an illusion ...of the past
Not sure if I’m ready for this task
Of a flourishing relationship
And having your love
As if it was sent from above
You have enkindled this
Abundant fire in me
Thank you for healing me

Real People

It’s amazing how we meet people,
How they play a major role in our lives.
It’s exciting when we get to know people,
For whose smiles we strive.

It’s nice how they treat us,
How they free us from the chains.
It’s great when they greet us,
For the dissipation of all our pains.

It’s wonderful how they see through our smiles,
How they stand for us without any pretenses.
It’s gorgeous when they return smiles,
For reasons beyond our senses.

It’s creditable how they be on our side,
How they fight for our rights.
It’s fathomable when they leave our side,
For the improvement of our insights.

It’s admirable how they give us wings,
How they show us their gratitude.
It’s understandable when they tie those wings,
For the development of our greatest fortitude.

It’s stupendous how they bright up our faces,
How they smile when they see us shirk.
It’s marvelous when they bright up our faces,
For slimming down life’s murky murk.
