Premium Member Bipolar Worlds

Sometimes a world of chaos comes,
Like thoughts to unravel.
Sometimes I feel pregnant with energy galore,
It's as if I'm speeding towards the finish line.
Sometimes I find myself inside a world,
With such silence, you'd hear a pin drop, and
I am simmered.
Sometimes a world of smashing ideas arrives,
And the sifting begins, because,
I must not jump to conclusion or climb lofty heights.
Sometimes a world of costal scenes emerges with
Zephyr breeze, and carefree years.
Sometimes kaleidoscopic world shows itself,
And I'm in love with all of life.
Sometimes a world of symphony streams like dream
I wish would never end.
Sometimes my world seem upside down, and
I must flip pages of the script because,
The other side of night is morning light.
Sometimes I enter a world of stillness, and
The beating of my heart with breath
Awakens me to countless lives,
Souls striving to see of clarity.

Lonely Links

Along the path of a Summer’s reverie,
there is this obscure covered bridge-
he always seemed to be smirking at me,
along the shoreline’s costal ridge.
He’s the one made of pure pine,
the one who never had a real name-
I guess I always thought he was fine,
but since his lover died, he’s not the same.

She used to walk, link by lonely link,
along the curvature of the span-
She’d cry to him, laugh and think,
oh, that beautiful sweet Leanne.
He covered her from the weary rain,
gave her comfort in times of need-
Embraced her every woeful pain,
and to an emerald field, he did lead.

This covered bridge was lonely too,
but together they became mates-
And after all that they’d been through,
I guess Leanne dying was his fate.

Starfish pearl of the cobalt deep
Scale the ocean's precipice
Five arms feel each white grain of sand
All tips view light and dark rays
In costal waters day and night
Splendid starfish don't depart

When I Tell You You Are Beautiful

When I tell you you are
beautiful
I do not mean pure physicality,
The symmetry of your face,
The shape of your lips,
The shade of your eyes.

When I tell you you are
beautiful
I tell you from the soul of a
poet,
You are starlight,
You are morning dew
On the petals of a rose.
You are costal sunsets and
Christmas morning.
You are dawn choruses
And balmy summer evenings
Serenaded by cicadas.

When I tell you you are
beautiful
I talk of all that you are,
But more ...
You are beautiful because
You allow me to see the world
Through the eyes of one who
loves,
And you show me how
To see the beauty in me too.

So much for climate change and global warming ! (an in joke for those from these Atlantic
costal isles.)
