Clinger Poems

Premium MemberThe Grief of Losing a Child

I weep for days, weeks, or longer.
Tears flow quickly anyway, and the sob clinger.
Crying proceeds when tears cease.
I have been feeling my squat angel for weeks.

I clutch sacred trust to hope against my will.
I'm keen on detecting her tone and feeling her quill.
People's memories are starting to wane.
However, I abide on battling with fierce pain.

Consistently, you actually tell me to "rest tight."
You could actually toss a kiss once at night.
So every time I wake up in the morning,
Once again, it is my heart that is mourning.

Now by gone will I be a complete person.
Just proceed and hide. The agony will worsen.

Oh, Foolish Man

Oh, foolish man! I told you I'm not a clinger
Don't grab my tail 'less you want to be bitten
and if at me you keep pointing your finger
I'll show you the contempt of an angry kitten

Be off with your horde and their petty assails
or I vow to scratch the eyes of those with you
whose fatty buttocks are blubbery like whales
Your gaggle flings vile insults as you pursue.

My whiskers are trimmed and yours are scruffy
You know what I mean when I spit and hiss?
You're not insulting me when you call me Fluffy
I'm an aristocratic feline. I only answer to Priss.

If you draw nearer, I'll swat you with my paws
Keep your dirty hands off of my marmalade coat
or I swear I'll scratch you with unsheathed claws
For your insolence there should be an antidote!

Premium MemberIn Stillness

in stillness each morn I linger
in a release from life
for with peace I am a clinger
life can stab like a knife

I walk my garden hush
loving my God's paintbrush
and blush of flowers lush

sweet chillness
in stillness

Green clinger on arid arroyo rock,
Spring blooms of faded yellow you did drop.
Desert dry took a toll of leaf and branch
Leaving photosynthesis to your bark.
Life is tough, lizard kissed, so short and harsh.
Unlike upland cousins, you are blessed:
In your shelter rests a saguaro babe,
Whose stately arms one day will take your place.

Sludge: An Update To Glitter

He looks down on me in his condescending way
    Without words, he pities me,
And without words, I accept

He lives so thoughtlessly
   Lips searching for other pairs
Every word is loveless appeasement
   And I, a desperate clinger

His motives are shaded
Sly letters kept from my eyes
A symphony addressed to another woman
   And I, the bonne poire

He humors me with fake sentiments
   Quieting me temporarily
Bereaved and alone
    I feel deprived

He’s tactless
    Walking with quiet arrogance
He who strings me along
I find it hard not to resent

His eyes dodge mine
   Shielding a passionless underbelly
I wonder how long he has loved her

Perhaps the less I know the better.

Caterpillars Many Feet Many Boots

The suitable ramblings of a plate of acorn and carrots to a listening ear of a squirrel squire is very very good news for a bed of voltaic leaves.Vehemently described by a small stone to be akin to radio station chattering. Babbling brook then. Oh good. Oh how one must look in amazement at the many radishes who arrive in uniform with badges. Clanking a clicking. Clocking a clinger. Danger is in the harbours where resides a 8000 long lobster. Whose antics are unpleasant and displease the many ships of cakes floating upon the waves. Juniper is Jupiter. And juvenile crimes of a pile of mud is an archaically archived delivery. How quite pleased is a 67 metres of a sky. Bus building baking breathing breastplate boomerangs breadsticks bang. And in a Penang architecture is often quite outstanding. Far freezer freeing fakes formations. Was washing wasting waiting willing wildly wildlife. And look there is a tiny two inch caterpillar many legs many boots many miles many many moons. Ha hmm xx Stupefaction *** z .

In Commemoration of Our Defeat

Clinger to the stars
Pulled down by gravity
Beneath are sparrows
Squeeze me to become the warrior

Blindfold me with the darkness
Faze me with pretensions
Shower me with Benjamin
Dry me with ignorance

Kill me with your vocabulary
I’ll bury me with thoughts of you
Let me wear your ring
Wear my weary

We let the seed grow
I water it with tears
Your sunlight is paper
We failed

Throw your hopes up
Veils are for dreamers
Love is the grim reaper
Insensitivity is the winner

The thick damp fog came in a rush
Coats trees, small shrubs, and grass
Vision limited, time slower
Or is time wrapped or trapped

The weighted air holds roosters' crow
And Sparrows' chirp lingers
Dust damp wet hardly leaves the ground
Weighted thoughts now clinger
