Premium Member AMEN CORNER

A Black Church
Christianity search
A Preaching Pastor
A sermon ever after
Congregation praise
The spirit in its amaze
Amen here and there
Lifted praise involved, but was the Amen Corner sincere?
Amen would spread throughout the church building
The Pastor would often wonder
Is Heaven hearing yonder
Nonetheless, the Amen would be established
The sermon accomplished
Spiritual words heard
Feed my sheep is God’s purpose with a mission from the Pastor
Lifted voices ringing high to Heaven’s highest
Goodness comes out
It is often a praising shout
The Amen has it
Glory to the Father name that fits.

God's Extraction

The Kingdom of God never stays in the Church
The Kingdom of God travels all over this earth
The Kingdom of God is grabbing the masses!

We must not let a Church building blind us
This is selfish—we are not
The only people that must go to Heaven
So let us not allow the Church building to make us selfish!

Jesus didn’t leave the kingdom of God in heaven
He brought it with Him to Earth—
At the Last Supper just before His crucifixion;
Jesus did something interesting
Jesus handed over His Kingdom to the disciples
Now HE can Extract many into it!

The WORD of GOD will affect nations
We must deliver the GREAT COMMISSION to the nations
Our mission far exceeds a church building
The Kingdom of God never stays in the Church
The Kingdom of God travels all over this earth
We must not let a Church building blind us
That is a selfish nature—we are not
The only people that must go to Heaven

So let us understand the measure of God’s extraction

A Style of Seeking Heaven

His participation won't be needed
But he has this fact not heeded:
To their church his father's lands ceded
And church-building time had them weeded.

It is in real mystery shrouded;
When the issue was raised halls crowded.
"Here men have ascended God's Heaven,
One with six plots he soon made seven
Joel with ten he dragged to eleven,
And this buffoon prefers their cession,
"Happy he's heading church procession."

For "Chief" James had hoped participation,
His picking an anticipation
Building towards preoccupation...

Twelve Swear To Not Again Money Lend

A praised righteousness is made to end,
Twelve swear to not again money lend,
The First, to often penury pretend,
The Second, to always for himself fend,
The Third, not even his next of kin tend,
The Fourth, starvation of beggars shall extend,
The Fifth, a dying visitor back home send,
The Sixth with all market prices contend,
The Seventh, to philanthropy never bend,
The Eighth, marrying a poor doesn’t intend,
The Ninth, garments of old debtors rend,
The Tenth, on redeemed debts depend,
The Eleventh, never his wife’s sandals mend,
The Twelfth, a promised church building suspend!
A lender who turns a miser,
Has smelt the odds in not being wiser,
Not a dime releasing, wealth stabilizer.

Premium Member The Privilege To Worship Jesus

God calls His people to worship Him
to bow our hearts in deep devotion
giving Him His due for all He's done
such perfect love indeed poetry in motion

Consider all that Jesus has done
being God equal with the father divine
redeeming His own by His precious blood
removing our sin so with Jesus free to dine

In our heart and in our mind
I can ponder on God's word as I read
such revelation conveyed to my soul
in my self been planted by His seed

My Great love of being in real fellowship
with fellow believers on each Lord's day
in my church singing psalms and hymns
sending praise to Jesus on the heavenly way

In my church listen intently to God's word
then meditate upon it, hear it preached
in this, I grow to be spiritually mature
may others seek the Lord and be reached

It's such a joy as one of many
voices heard in unison to our Lord
prayers uttered in thankful praise
God is great we sing in sweet accord

(This is written showing my worship of God and where that would be, on the Sabbath day it is in a church building I attend but it would also be where I am on any particular day for God's presence goes with his people where they may be.)

Premium Member Pew Sitter--

I'd go to church
Every Sunday
Often find myself there
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Friday

oh! what am I but just a glorified Church goer;
A modified, glorified, pew sitter;
Oh! God, help me, Lord;
I don't wanna be just a pew sitter;

Praising you inside this church building;
whom am I but just a forgiven sinner;
I should be more than a pew sitter;
When I leave a church I should be a soul winner;
Not just a holy than tho! Christian just chilling;

oh! what am I but just a glorified Church goer;
A modified, glorified, pew sitter;
Oh! God, help me, Lord;
I don't wanna be just a pew sitter;

I need to be the church, be uplifting;
Be a witness, be forgiving;
Feed the poor, help the elderly;
Be the eyes, hands and feet of God;
Be all I can be;

oh! what am I but just a glorified Church goer;
A modified, glorified, pew sitter;
Oh! God, help me, Lord;
I don't wanna be just a pew sitter;

Why I'M Writing

I write to be a beam of light
for Christ.

I write to inspire
those like me, filled with fire.

I write to be a voice for the youth
looking for truth.

I write to represent
the unrepresented.

I write 4 others, but also 4 self
as I examine my inner wealth.

I write for the misfit those who don't fit in.

I write for the Christian those who want God to listen.

I write for the urban culture
painting pictures like scuplters.

I rep God tru poetry because he's my king like royalty.

I write for those seeking answers tried of lies like cancer.

I write to for the church, building God's turf.

I write to present Christ to show the power of his might.

I wanna live and give life that's the reason why I write

Church Building Be Rid Of

Church Be Rid Of

They died and went to heaven above;
Where each one can enjoy God's love;
Was such a scare;
Bullets everywhere;
Church decided to destroy and are rid of.

Together Forever

"I do." Two words
Which have sealed our lives
And bound them together
Forever
Goodbye Beautiful License
- License to cheat,
Fool around and get
Fooled around. No more
Late hours at the club. No more
Partying till the sky drops. No more
The life of a party animal. No more
Flings with flirty friends
With a forced smile on my face
I walk down the aisle
With my partner.
Partner! That word scares me!
Shared house, shared room,
Shared bed, shared food,
Shared children perhaps,
Hopefully, shared finances.
That part sounds good
But what a price to pay: freedom!
Exiting the church building
Into the open air
I ignore the cheers and applauses
And glance at the decked hearse
That will convey me to a life of
Confinement.
Have I made a mistake?

Still In America

Nazi swastika
on condemned church building
paint dried while running
