Too often when you ask someone
who they are?
they give you titles and labels
which are actually subpar
you are more than just someone's
father, uncle, aunt or mother
there is much more to you than just being
a sister, a niece a nephew or a brother
I am a seeker of truth, an observer of choices
and I dwell in God's light
I am defined by my values, my morals
and I walk by faith and not by sight
my moral code, my set of values,
my standards, and my convictions.
these are the crucial elements
that determine my individual predilections
who are you?
how would you describe yourself?
do you mention your education
or do you tell of your wealth?
who are you?
what is your self-characterization?
do you illustrate your talents
or elucidate on your associations?
I am defined by my values, my actions
and my willingness to grow
to be curious and wanting to learn
all that I need to know
I am defined by how I treat
and interact with others in my life
I offer acceptability, kindness, compassion
and move in the ways of Christ.
So who am I?
I am a disciple of Christ,
a gentle loving human being
more than just some man's wife
Gratitude is attitude
Being humble
Gives mind space
Set to soar high.
Character is barter
Being good
Articulate well
Boost sales high.
Colors is attractions
Good ads
Sparkles the eyes
Add more dimes.
Raw is simplicity
Pure heart
Arouse good intention
Truth dare not hide.

I etch an outline of the landscape’s reflection,
pigments and colors making nature’s connection.
I portray a mighty bald eagle fly in the distance
above a mount that hovers with affection.
For painting is my entire life’s existence,
the beauty of an empty canvas is perfection.
There’s nothing more lovely than an illustration,
a magnificent depiction of God’s creation.
A composition of an abstract design,
or a family portrait carrying characterization.
I know that when the brilliant starts align,
I feel the need to use my imagination.
Paintings of my sweet dogs I have created
with shadows of their tails in mediums faded.
There’s no duplication just originality,
this gift I have makes me highly elated.
I sense my fascinating personality
reveals my talent as life is translated.
I whitewash the marvel of memories,
through paintings of wildlife and the trees.
When I’m in the moment of developing art,
I experience the splendor no one else sees.
All my flair and skill come from my heart
and in each moment I paint... I find ease.

Illumination from the entrance
Make it vivid that Jefferson is ‘crazy’
Scripts splatter on the bare floor
Engulf with writings from the mind
Dramatizing the lines with emotions
Aghast! I stand watching the Jefferson
Displaying competency in a dramatics loom
Madness of characterization of the lines make the
Poems visible from his drama the dance steps
in resonance with the utterances as he maneuvers moves stealthily
is Jefferson crazy?
Before I could write the last line
Suddenly, he falls and breathes endlessly
He lay like a tired butterfly…
Have you seen one before?
‘I don’t have a pen’ he recounts
‘I don’t have a pen ‘ he utters breathing heavily
I don’t have a pen too I respond
I was just writing from my mind
On the table I see the line
‘I don’t have a pen’.
If that's what she did,
than trust me,
you're not under a lid,
she flipped it-
added pressure to admit ...
Characterization of the limitless,
shindig-less,
hard nosed,
pencil printed,
breaking of embarrassment,
getting others to care less,
but you never got to see the cherry list-
it got burned before the internet,
you should have had a little fit-
...before a big one,
and then another,
or just got a gun,
one that works hard to make you jump and run.
She's not in love with your hugs!
She's not entangled with you at all!
She's estranged to leave with mud and guck and-
maybe one nut-
but who's counting,
you're just as dumb...
