Love things sweet and easy:
Porridge, coffee, good ol' me.
Most of all every day really
I love how he treats me sweetly.
Love things sort of nasty:
Booze, cigarettes, how he's sexy.
Sometimes so wasted, I go crazy.
But nothing will change how he loves me.
Love things to be fun and free:
Music, media, reading are what I do daily.
Walks, lazing, enjoying life indulgently.
This freedom all I ever wanted to be.
Love things just as they are for me:
Neighbors for friends, socializing easily.
All I ever wanted was to live this simply.
Sadly, I'll never live up to what I could be.
carefree as a meadow's dream ~

Slowly walking the path of life,
winging with challenge, joy, and strife.
I came upon a butterfly,
floating, flittering in the sky.
So lightly gliding through the air,
I came to a stop, just to stare.
Created with such symmetry,
designed to live a life so free.
Like a butterfly’s flight in wind,
harder at first than in the end.
Life is seen by our perception,
If not aware, by deception.
Like butterflies, go with the flow,
We’ll be shown what we need to know.
You Left Me Breathless
your beauty overwhelmed me
your life was so carefree
I loved you more than you did know
perhaps I told you more than show
when you said goodbye
tears fell from the sky
with you I was so blessed
without you I am so breathless
what if what we had was temporary
a momentary glance of happiness
of freedom
of joy
of reckless youth
a time of love and carelessness
maybe that was where our memory is supposed to stay
maybe it wasn’t meant to continue on into this decade.
Maybe the sun never rose up again after it set that summer.
Broken and shattered, all could see,
Yet, waters of life, still flow free,
Though only ghosts do come,
To fetch and drink some,
Since the owners left it carefree.
put up my feet and tune out
my favourite music in the background
forget the daily grind
no worries no busy mind
brush free the day's cobwebs
smile to myself and relax
shake off the weight of the world

barefoot on the edge of innocence,
laughter spilling like petals
in a summer breeze.
eyes glinting with mischief,
a wildflower in a garden of rules,
her spirit ignites whispers—
soft shadows of temptation
wrapped in the silk of youth.
men glance,
hungry eyes tracing the curve
of youth,
unraveled thoughts
dancing in the air—
a silent song of desire,
unspoken,
yet heavy,
like the scent of summer blooms.
the world paints her in colors
of allure,
a siren in a child’s guise.
but she,
with daisies in her hair,
knows not the weight of their gazes,
she spins and spins,
the sun warming her skin,
unaware of the storm
that brews in the hearts of men,
temptation,
a twisted gift,
wrapped in the guise of youth.
she is a wildflower,
not a rose to be confined,
a heart unclaimed,
a spirit unbroken,
and in her freedom,
a beauty that defies
the weight of desire.
in her heart, she carries storms,
and dreams that stretch
beyond their reach,
a tempest of strength
wrapped in fragile skin,
temptation,
but never theirs to claim.
Young and athletic
You just showing your biceps
Young girls smile shy.
Laid out on the beach in that warm tropical sun
Winter is on hold, while I am here to experience heaven and have some fun
The ocean waters with their bright colours call out to me to take a dip
First I must finish my mai tai with one last sip
My whole body I hope soon will turn a golden brown
Music fills the air with its soothing sounds
As I hit the water those rushing waves came in to welcome me
Never in my entire life have I felt so carefree
Out on the horizon, sailboats glide by with the help of a gentle breeze
I am going to savor every moment before I must return to the deep freeze
My camera is full of great pictures, giving me access to memories I will never forget
Leaving winter for summer is something you will never live to regret
Fat drops pellet the ground.
Steps splashing, scattering ripples.
Ripples in time, circling out
from the moment, the here, the now, the present.
The present of laughter,
sheer joy at being a child
being cuddled by fat drops
that ripple in rings, then retreat
once memories fade.
I should not like to be carefree
for then no one would care about me
I looked out my window,
At the gloomy grey sky.
When I saw a butterfly,
Flitting blissfully by.
Unfettered by worries,
Not shackled by woe,
A blithe Lepidoptera,
And its aerial show.
The patter of raindrops,
Fazed it not a bit,
Blithely it glided,
On my window did sit.
Ever so nonchalantly,
It fluttered its wings.
Not a care in the world,
What a fortunate thing!
If only my soul,
Could a butterfly be.
Gallivant in my small world,
Unburdened and free!
Be easygoing, jovial, beaming good cheer,
With a happy-go-lucky coat hiding gloom's smear.
Beaming a carefree heart, shining a joyful grin,
Let's rekindle the joyousness that lies within.
No troubles too heavy, no burdens too large,
Can quell a positive attitude in charge,
That finds joyfulness in the simplest recall,
Of revered and cherished good times, big and small.
All it takes is a simple extra step, to lift
The mood out of depression's dire, mire muck, and shift
Gears to a higher plane, with you in charge again,
Switching each negative to a positive gain.
So kick your heels up, skip along with smiley laugh.
Go happily plucky, head held high, like a giraffe.
Happy-go-lucky alive and free
Joyful in all weathers
Embracing the silver lining
Skipping, joie de vivre
Spirit enlivening, vibrant, rejoicing
