Premium Member Spooky Legends or Candy Hearts Rondel

Spooky legends or candy hearts,
which one will get your pulse racing?
Some seek the horror embracing
when the final high speed chase starts.

Others in tune with softer parts
enjoy the rush of slow dancing.
Spooky legends or candy hearts
which one will get your pulse racing?

A black cat or box of sweet-tarts,
which design do like tracing?
Wield the power of replacing
which one for you is off the charts?
Spooky legends or candy hearts?

Premium Member Candy Hearts

My love for you won't end with time
You're more than just a Valentine
My heart wants you to be all mine
You're more than just a Valentine
My longing eases when I rhyme
You're more than just a Valentine
My dreams sometimes go over lines
You're much more than a Valentine

Candy Hearts

Candy hearts
By Michelle Morris

Sometimes I think
My heart is filled
With sweetness
Like candy hearts

Each piece inscribed
With a special message
Memories and moments
Soul reflections and connections

I've collected them with joy
Each and every one
Decade upon decade
Love and light and harmony

When I experience heartache
I try to reach down inside to my heart
Pick up one of those candy hearts
And remind me of good thoughts

To focus on the positive
Not the darkness or the pain
Let the light expand inside my chest
And give me hope again

And as I move through this life path
I choose to embrace the goodness
The power of my light within
My heart and soul filled with sweetness

Premium Member Chalky Candy Hearts

Sitting in the bowl a bit chalky
colored story telling candy;
Timeless messages sent melt hearts;

Romance lives within these hearts,
updated verse but still written chalky;
Lovers still trade flowers and candy;

Sweet on you, lips taste like candy;
Sugar buzz from fluttering hearts,
after taste leaves my mouth chalky;

An old tradition of chalky candy hearts.

Candy Hearts

Candy hearts in the air,
candy hearts everywhere!
They share messages of love,
a peace offering like a dove.

Candy hearts will light the way
unless you decide not to sit with me today.
If you don't want to play with me,
I guess I have to leave you be.

You leave me in my time of need
in search to fill your terrible greed.
Guess I'll just walk out the door
with candy hearts smashed into the floor.

Little Candy Hearts

~

I thought about
giving you
one of those
little candy hearts
that say
"I love you"
on it

But I decided
to give you
my heart
instead and hope
it says
the same
thing

~
