Melancholy of Serendipity

Met you when I least expected,
Breezed past me like a breath of fresh air.
At the time, I didn't pay heed;
Now I drown in despair.

Sent to me just before my dark times,
The light that preceded my darkness.
The light in my life, encompassed by hate—
For myself alone, I must state.

Elegant in stature, I continue to pursue.
I have to give praise where it is due.
Don't choose me.
Don't consider it.
I'll only bring sadness.
I'll only bring boredom.
I truly eclipse your character.

Hate for myself I must endure.
No choice in the matter; I'm simply a flaw.
Cursed by the standards of society,
Failed to comply with the criteria of the world.

Who am I to search for happiness?
Truly a troubled soul.

Finkelstein breezed through the Old Testament
Hebrew for him was no impediment
                   But no lobster, no shrimp?
On food he would not skimp! ,,,
Eats pork too ~ No stomach for sentiment

Ahmed thrilled to Muhammad and Allah
He thought he’d be a great Muslim fellow
What’s this? – Pray five times a day
How well is that gonna pay
                 Ahmed’s new hero ~ L. Dicaprio

Ryan Kelly, the perfect altar boy
Brought the parish priest and his parents joy
Hold on – the priest’s celibate?
First his jaw dropped, then it shut
Ryan ran to the port, yelled ‘Ship Ahoy!’

Premium Member Up in Smoke, Part Two

Hello, calling Sergeant Stedenko,
Stedenko, we all just want to know!
Sarge, we just breezed the "Ghanja Boys" toke,
And then we seized the "Ghanja Boys" smoke!

Hell Sarge, we all found weed by the pound!
And, not one goddamn seed could be found!
It was sticky, stinky, funky, funk!
It was stinkin' funky from their trunk!

So, then we just gagged 'em and racked 'em,
After that, we tagged 'em and stacked 'em!
We need your okay just to proceed,
Meanwhile, we'll watch as those boys just bleed!

Or, we could opt or adopt your church,
And give those boys a cavity search!
If they pass anymore gas or grass,
Guess we'll just have to firebrand their ass!

What the Hell? So what do you say, Sarge?
Cuz...we know that "today" you're in charge!
But, we'd really get a big "charge" if...
We could just take a really big whiff!

Premium Member The Weather Forecast

He breezed in after a whirlwind tour of the local pubs.
Feeling muggy, he drifted up the stairs like a silent mist,
but was greeted with an isobar across the back of the head.

An icy stare froze him to the spot, followed by a maelstrom of words
that bounced off the walls, pounding him like giant hailstones.

Then fighting against a hurricane he slipped in a pool of hate
He glanced up to see her chest swelling, then with an avalanche
Of abuse she predicted a cold front coming in…

Premium Member For Sweet Morrow's Song

Each moonlit walk, each starlight gaze
On nights that knew such carefree days
Each whispered thrill on breezed romance
                      The passion of another chance

Each salted spray of ocean’s mist
On mornings blue yet to be kissed
Reminds me yet of nature’s grace
As time sifts sure like sand through lace

Oh let me sing sweet morrow’s song
While palm trees still wave to the sun
While rivers that know the secrets of life
Still course through the veins of my heart

For purpose must it always be
And must it be of such design
And is it not enough to breathe
To drink of love’s rich wine

Oh, let me know sweet morrow’s song
                        Again and again and again
Till every last note of the chorus is sung
And no line is yet rendered still

Premium Member Zephyr

Gentle zephyr, now caress me
like the tender words which ere he
whispered to me, so did beguile
to let him stay a little while
and dine the night from my fruit tree.

We’ll sail my yacht, we two, said he
on gentle zephyr to Capri
there we can honeymoon a while
after I walk you down the aisle
he smiled, and I said let it be.

This morn I woke and what to see,
his yacht no longer at the quay.
I gave an inch, he took a mile
then left without a look, a smile;
gentle zephyr breezed him from me.

Shamaness

I remain a stranger
to my husband’s kin
it’s strange I miss their stranger’s skin
but bring taboo to skin they’re in
if words I speak upon their name

I hide my words
in fear of harm
displease the trees who delivered man
and breezed them on a wind to farm
the land trees put aside for them

in my hands, a harp I made
bear and eagle, age they gave
a single reed cut from a blade
shamanic lines taught me to play
so free was I in what I say

so put to lips and plucked with breath
my voice through brass
at times bamboo
you will find it placed in my burial
alongside my husband and his voice too

Reverse engineering a sureal Eden

Reverse Engineering a Surreal Eden.

To grow a mountain, - - - - - right!
In, an old jam jar, yeh right!
Of clean soil, Soil! Isn’t that soiled?
Such a seed could be, soiled and would be exclusive;
Perhaps part time growing in window box?
May save the roof? No rain mind, just a tarry dim sun,
Breezed by a filthy wind ; alone!
in its eroded scraggy day, while
expanding, a different slice of the colour green.
Pushed skywards, it all looks the same!
What about Apples and Snakes?
and our engineered countryside,
of plastic and glass, filling allotments,
with mirrors for the gods! And soured bogs.
Eyes only open at jar breaking time
Its stop tap, but no tap to stop, too late,
And – the mountain? We shall keep it
Under the bed, so it can’t be seen.

Premium Member BELOVED BUTTERFLY YOU AND I

On this cool breezed autumn night twilight
The fluttering of butterflies wings glistens
Surroundings nature's voices write
Seeking speaking honoring confessions
~
Sweeter is the air, now that they have flow
Music sounds so delight now
Tiny feet in the air midst the dusk glow
Shuns the light pee-a-poo, WoW

Lunar hoovering over view
~
Alas, may I have this last daylight glance
You and I butterfly we're in love
Come dear love let's suck amongst this flower dance
Whilst in the pre-twilight above
~
Darkness falls out heart calls
In this now the middle of the night
Let us Beloved so dance ahh!
As the moon sings so dance hold tight
~
We're together wayward butterflies
In the middle of the night when the butterflies dance to the Moon song
And our Father in heaven sheds no tears no cries
Elohim Father has made everything beautiful all things right nothing's wrong

Lunar hoovering over
We're together wayward butterflies
In the middle of the night when the butterflies dance to the Moon song
And our Father in heaven sheds no tears no cries
Elohim Father has made everything beautiful all things right nothing's wrong

Windows

Not by any trite window
Tensed, framing worry
Its oft serene onlooker;
Life's; through Memory.

Accordingly is brought up
The clear distinction
Twixt today's world, all feel more
Obligated to
And that brighter faced, breezed through;
With heart's free action.

Premium Member Nathania Nana's Bubble Stance-

Bubbles blowing in the wind
Moving in the air
Flowing in the water's capsule blend
Breezed translucent spears

With air covered with water flying suspicious
 All around me bubblicious
And when I run out of the solution soap extinguished
Mommy can we use the soap we use for the dishes

Premium Member New Gorgeous Teacher In Stilettos

new teacher was gorgeous - tall, svelte, with bouncy hair
the rest of us elementary teachers are in sneakers
She breezed in dressed in six inch stilettos
wait until she has to chase one of them we thought

she never had to, the janitor and cook did it for her
they never did it for any of the rest of us
of course we are old, dowdy and cynical
out of breath from chasing our runaways.

plus many of us do not like the janitor or the cook
they think they know how to teach better than we do
give us suggestions even though they have never taught
we roll our eyes as new teacher thanks them for their ideas

Planted Snakes

"The planted snakes are venomous!"
Warned q caller anonymous
"Anaconda size enormous!"
Their state with Death synonymous
Thus, price to pay not enormous...

And decision unanimous:
All pleas for ' Mercy Blasphemous',
None to try The Eponymous

Named he had Twelve Thousand Dollars,
Necks causing to wet starched collars

Planted snakes for easy money:
When cops soon breezed in, not funny

Premium Member Unbidden Memories Past

The wind taunts me with unbidden memories,
It curses me,
Gives me no lasting solace.

It reminds me of that lovely day
When we wandered o'er the hills,
Wild fragrant thyme perfumed
The graceful countryside.
The wind had breezed through
Your silken hair.
Your luscious eyes sparkled with love.
I blame indifference for this lustful world.
Now you are gone forever, my dear,
While I lament your loss,
I try to forget my dirty past
And hope for God's forgiveness
Though I deserve none.
