Said She:
I shine happy
with all You have given me
in this life...
what has been shown me,
in the eyes of my beloveds,
in the pawprints of the racoon,
the pink sunset dust
powdered lightly on the white cover
of bibulous clouds,
the oil painting beauty of a rose.
I prop open my door
to these sights
with my clay foot,
my face flushed with awe.
My love when you leave
When you walk away
It's my moon vanishing
It's my sun disappearing
I do not eat
And your delicious food sleeps under the covers
I drink hard at night, very late
Like a blotting paper
You are my moon and my sun
At night, I have no sleep
Since your beautiful body is not there
Mine stayed very cold
In the absence of your warmth
Too far from happiness.
When you leave
I do not sing
I am late
Slow is my stepping
It's death
My thoughts are on you, on you
Everything annoys me under the roof
It's my sun that's not there
It's my moon that slips away
And it's the exodus of my hope
Under the non-starry vault in the evening.
Love, you see
That I love you with passion
You are my treasure, my good
You're the one who gives me the way
To live with the greatest respect
In an atmosphere of love and peace.
Love, when you leave
My pen is weeping
I'm scared, I'm dying
And I drink like a bibulous sleeve.

I portrayed the knave of hearts again,
A role it would seem I was made for.
I ventured off script and silenced my critics
By drinking them under the table.
Classically trained in the tavern arts,
I’m a boozy, bibulous sot.
A virtuoso of chugging a tankard,
A maestro of downing a shot.
I've been typecast as a barfly.
It's the same old morality play.
I’ll adlib my lines to upstage the lead,
And be star of this grim cabaret.
Vestal Vibrations
Two humble hearts that romantically resonate as one…
of vernal vestal vibrations thru the vastness voids,
love dances to the bibulous beat of their drum.

I swallow the concoction
my heart seemed quickly soothed
a little truth mixed with the lies
made it taste so smooth
ambrosia to my tongue
with bibulous afterglow
predilection quickly sets in
blurring all that I know
waves of nausea crashing
like the flow of the Black Sea
what echos in this chamber
may never set me free
She's a sweet young lady
Smart as a whip
Determined, and trustful too
As my ex-coworker
I got to know her through and through
We shared thousands of meals
And thousands of laughs
While this poor girl did all the work
I sat there, shameful, lazily like a jerk
Eating pretzels, reading my book
I'll never understand how she took
Such responsibility at such a young age
With school, and work, and more
Their's only one thing i'm sure of
This young lady I most adore
She's like the long wanted daughter
And best friend as well, you see
When I do something stupid (moi?)
She'll strongly chastise me
When she thinks I've been bibulous
(hey ,I snuck a $10 word in here!)
She'll ream my very soul
She's never very frivolous
She'll just dig me a new ___hole.( ha ha ha..oooow, that hurts!)
So darling Kim I tell you
How proud you've made me be
A Master's degree is coming!!!
Oh wow and woop woop wee!
I trust you won't get too, too smart
For me to understand
With brains like your's I know for sure
You'll have the upper hand!!
All my love, all my respect...
Keep on truck'en kiddo!!
You're the best!!!
