Premium MemberLost Carrots

Walking down a country road
I fell upon a baby bear talking with a hare.

They look like they were long time friends that didn't have a care.

How are you today said the baby bear standing up with his arms in the air.

I have a little problem today said the hare
But no one seems to care.

I can't seem to find where I put my carrots yesterday

I have looked everywhere even in the barn in the big stack of hay.

My carrots seem nowhere to be found.

My friend can you please help me track them down.

The two friends wandered off
In search of the carrots,

Along the way they found a trail that led them to a feret.

The ferret had a belly ache
You see he ate all of hare's carrots..

What a naughty feret

Premium MemberLove Poem To A Cat

Love Poem to a Cat

Your simplicity is Absolute.
As such, a Perfection of your kind.
Eat, Sleep, Cuddle With The Giants, Get The Pets
Repeat.
Your days a monochrome monotony
Eternal yet ephemeral
You can be a nuisance
But never trouble

(unlike your sister, who ran off because Mom wouldn't share her ice cream)

The Outside World is not for you,
Dear Boy.
It would chew you up and spit you out;
We can't have that.

So stay in with us as we retire
Live out your hopefully longish perfect cat life
Safe in its comfortable nonexcitement

When you are gone
You shall leave
A furry little hole in my heart

So sleep well,
My dear little Bubbula.
Sleep well.

Premium MemberHell Cat Queen

Hell Cat Queen Oh, Mayling Lou dearest, my heart’s elation On Halloween you’ll be a possessed abomination Neither purr nor mew pussyfooting Boo! You are tonight’s sweet spooky sensation! ‘Tis you I love kitty, dark Mayling Lou Your surreptitious sly purrs make a goddess of you But come Halloween You’re my hell cat queen Your love and friendship I both cherish and rue
by Robert Gorelick
I love you too, but tonight is the night I sit on a broomstick, holding on tight Flying behind a witch To satisfy an itch Don’t wait up, hell cat’s gonna be alright

Premium Membermy best friend and I

best friends can keep a secret, when others cannot
They have your back but do not burden you with it
my best friend and I can resume a friendship after ten years
laughing and cutting up as if we saw each other yesterday

No one else understands my family and my circumstance as well
because I do not trust many people, but I totally trust my best friend
We have made history with our antics, and funny stories
Telling them over and over; still laughing, because we know each other.

Premium MemberA Shared Sweet Tooth

The playful nature of love
need not be always a scheduled
match, something to be said for the
spontaneity of butterfly kisses,
fluttering lips and tip-toeing
fingertips, as a child approaches
a cookie-jar at midnight, the
cat-like hurtle of stool and
counter, a cupboard with bells
and whistles, the Cookie Master
having had fond insight, a shared
sweet-tooth of a game….

Premium MemberThief

Maybe tomorrow is too late
tell me today...who is he?
the one who robbed a piece of me
part of my life that it will never come back.
Tell me what he looks like?
Is he more handsome than me?
or maybe have more money than me?
       Tell me about him?
The one stole my life from me.
Go and see him. I will be waiting for you.
       Always be waiting..
And be with him, as long as you can.
because I will always give you my life to be waiting for.
Go...and have a life with him,
because I know I will always be here waiting for you to hug you again.
I am your harbour waiting for you: the boat...my boat that is you.
Sorry if I ask another question...
What he looks like?
The thief that stole my life from me.

Premium MemberFunny Bone - Comp

I tickle inadvertently
This funky little bone
He hides amongst the others
With nowhere to call home

He could have been a rib
A cheek, a thumb, a scapula or more
But no, this little fella
Was just left behind the door

When bones were being issued
With nowhere good to go
No fancy latin title
He was given the elbow

I wouldn't be without him
Although he hides away
The best friend I could want for
As he brightens every day

My Favorite Vacation in Rhyme Poetry Contest

Holly’moon’
A girls’ trip, three hot chicks, and Cali Disney, beaches, and no time to dally… A looming hill with huge letters beckoned Dared us to climb; we agreed in a second… Three ladies in mini-skirts, dirt-smeared Thoughts of breaking the law gave us no fear… Knackered, at last, the peak came into sight Quickly, our bodies were drained of delight… The “HOLLYWOOD” letters were enclosed by a fence So people like us wouldn’t climb and spread prints… But we made a choice; didn’t care if we should As we hiked up our skirts and mooned Hollywood! Premium MemberThe Doorless Room

I wish my room had a story to share.
With the goal for me to have the option to play.

This entryway is unimportant to me.
I dislike being fixed behind a doorway.

What case might be this crawling around?
As a result, it's somewhat picky.

Without connecting with the ground.
Flying is getting simple progressively.

Is the chance to be a finished bore.
Since you've arrived at the summit of the sky

Premium MemberKitty, Kitty, Kitty

I lay very quiet till you open the door
Then I scurry clear across the floor.
I know that it's you and I can't wait
To have you scoop my food on the plate.
You're not quick enough so I begin to cry
I jump here and there and look you square in the eye.
I hop on the floor and rub against your leg
It's the only way I know to beg.
You push me aside and tell me to sit pretty
But I'm not a dog...I am your Kitty !
So I don't pay you no mind at all
And I start driving you right up the wall !
Finally, just as I knew you would
You give me my dinner...And boy is it good !
