Her poetic mind is uncannily artistic,
She can make a long grocery list
Sound like an art of Shakespeare
and still forget the humble Pear!

With her talent she writes poems
She can express the emotions
We didn’t even know we had …
Like crying over a sock losing its pair.

Her goals are so lofty
Even the moon gets FOMO
When you talk about them...

I finally came to know how she
Writes the prize winning poems
With profound artistic acumen,
She probably interviews her pen
Before letting it touch the paper!

Keep on writing my beloved poet
Sure, one day you will be the greatest !

Nine Inch Nails, Ten Pins and the Purl Stitch

"Nine Inch Nails, Ten Pins and the Purl Stitch"

She takes the cake
they offer, chewing too rapidly,
she Shrews when she speaks
I’ll beat warpath drums, she says,
no mistake

I’m a groper ... goody two shoes
she says

mouth wide open
songs problematic
she's done and she's gone
a stitch loose in the weave
drop one pearl one

dropped
gone

for kissing small bait in the shallows
she circles her quarry
bites their backs
she sits astride
the legs of a hot gripping story

sits like a monkey
begging for peanuts
she spits in comments
I'm thoroughly congruent
in moments of questionable torrent

I am all here
dear boy
dear girl
knit one
drop one pearl hooray

I am all here, here hearing
all seeing, all knowing
I throw it back
and I’ll give you
the crux of the crutch

all knowing
make no mistake.

my good god
I don’t care
I don’t care
do we care?
I don’t care.

truly I eat their sour pears,
place more wax in my ears
she throws pearls
decorously adorning
the minds of sows’ rears

left wing molting
a mouth full of feathers
right wing feeding them
she’s all knowing
bling bling bling bling

bling bling
bowling ball glowing

Ten pins

preparing minds
sharp needles
and yarns

Purl Stitch
knit one,
drop one
knit one
drop one

win

We're so sorry, uncle Albert
But we haven't done a bloody thing all day

We're so sorry, uncle Albert
But the kettle's on the boil
And we're so easily called away

Hands across the water, water
Heads across the sky
Hands across the water, water
Heads across the sky

"Sit by my side, and let the world slip: we shall ne'er be younger."

"There's small choice in wrotten apples".

"If I be waspish, best beware my sting.”

Dust---- Who Cares

She was immensely house proud
mess not a single trace,
covers on furniture like a shroud,
Dust ….. oh my dare not show its face

Until…….

That day she fell over the vacuum hose
she lay on the floor in so much pain,
wishing, she hadn’t spotted the dust mote
knew her life wouldn’t be the same.

Had to sit there, her leg in plaster
looking at things that landed on her gleam.
A thin film of dust was straddling the furniture
so much so, she could write her name.

Then realised looking sparkling wasn’t the answer
dust was an item we could all live with.
Friends who called, how the room looked didn’t matter,
an out reaching hand of caring was what they could give.

Mama wants to talk of birds and the bees.
Wonder why she wants to tell about these.
I know that birds sing
And honey bees sting.
I'd rather fly my new kite in the breeze.

"there's Someone Who Cares For You !!!"

There's someone who cares for you
No matter what you do
And it doesn't matter what you go through
Somebody else has been there too.
Sometimes things have been rough
Times when even I've had enough
But I stayed strong, and remain tough.
For I know that things won't be this way always
Because yet to come are better days.
Just trust, and believe with all of your heart
Then say a prayer and Jesus will do his part.
Without him we'll always fall
When in the beginning he should've been the 1st we call.
So now that we know what we are to do
With just little bit of faith, we must stay true.

Who Cares

Who cares?
Those were days past
When Africans used to be brothers
When everyone shared when something bothers
When we all united against immorality
When a child belonged to the community
Now everyone on his own
Because none cares

Gone are days of blood brotherhood
When all norms had meaning
When a kinsman never would sleep hungry
When we shared a pot of soup
When we talked openly but gently
Now everyone on his own
Because none cares

Finding Someone Who Cares

As the days go by the emptiness inside grows
fighting invisible demons back into the shadows
I scream for help, shedding tears of sorrow
hoping I might overcome my burdens tomorrow
fearing as if nobody else really does care
all that's left to do is to say a prayer
to be free from all the pain and suffering
my sinful life in desperate need of restructuring
I must turn my faith and love to the Lord
maybe then my cries will no longer be ignored
receiving the help I so desperately need
mending my heart to no longer bleed
losing this winless fight I've waged within
just wishing for a new walk to begin
please God hold my hand and wend my way
knowing if you are by my side I can face a new day
learning how to live my life without loneliness
fortifying what at once was a cruel weakness
I'll overcome my trials and tribulations
while I may have to face complications
moving forward my soul I devote to you
reassuring there will never be another adieu
now that I've accepted God, one who truly cares
He will show me the answers to my prayers

Who Cares About Poets

Who Cares About Poets?

Who cares about poets—
Even when they turn difficulty into design,
Carving worlds out of words,
Shaping destinies with clauses,
Taming language with silence,
And molding life into form?
Who cares about us?

Who cares about poets—
Even when they turn the ugly into beauty,
Naming ashes as boldly as gold,
Unveiling darkness as faithfully as light,
Exposing hatred as clearly as love,
Cutting through grief as deeply as joy?
Who cares about us?

Who cares about poets—
Even when they translate silence into sound,
Bringing the rumble of oceans onto paper,
Interpreting the whispers of flowers and thistles,
Making mountains laugh and rivers weep,
Silencing lions and teaching ants to cry?
Who cares about us?

Who cares about poets—
Even when they reveal bleeding hearts without a blade,
Fight wars without weapons,
Conquer lands without armies,
Rule empires without thrones,
And change the world with nothing but ink?
Who cares about us?

Perhaps—
Poetrysoup does!

Who Cares For the Carer

By John Weaver & Dedicated to Liz

Who cares for the carer? is the question that I ask.
Who is helping them help another with their overwhelming task
Who is trying to ensure they remain healthy, fit and strong
As they nurse and feed the one in need all day and all night long?

Who thinks about the carer? is the thought that comes to me
When all thought is for the needy and that’s the way it ought to be
But just a little bit of thoughtfulness would not go astray
For the one who works and struggles without a thought for pay.

Who worries about the carer? is my other great concern
If they should fall to sickness where would the needy turn?
The one they love is the one they want and on whom they depend
To wash and feed and dress them and to be with them to the end

Who would care for the needy? is the fact we have to face
If something happened to the carer then who would replace
That committed and devoted, caring loving soul
Who gave their all without complaint in a hard and stressful role.

But we know who will care for the carer
When their mortal coil is through
When all their earthly labours get the recognition that is due
When at last they can rest eternal with no further demands
In peace and joy and secure in the Greatest Carer’s hands.

Every moment is a revelation of high value

Perhaps part of beauty, or a beautiful melody

No ocean to sail unknown, with deep breaths

A passage in areas, a sign of separation

Leaving the harbor, turn out of the safe zone

The point of it all is, who cares

Veiled by soft butterfly wings

The pleasure is all yours, so little ... but still palpable

Premium Member Who Cares Anyway -- Read

I read him my poems and he said, Oh I feel so sorry for you.
Had I read him a newspaper, would he still have felt sorry?
To read him a novel of mine, would have been too long
and would he have lost interest by now?
But I read him some old love letters,
now, he is really sorry for me.

I don't have to tell you,
You know.

You do have to tell me,
'cause I don't.

Stand your ground.

Or maybe we could talk it out?

Who Cares For the Carer

Who cares for the carer?

My door is always open
My kettle is always on
I’m here with a shoulder
For you to cry upon

You can tell me anything
Your secrets I can keep
You can phone me anytime, day or night
Even when I am asleep

If you live in solitude
Or your heart is filled with grief
If you suffer from low self-esteem
I can build your self-belief

I am everybody’s rock
But who is there for me?
Who cares for the carer?
I think you will agree

The more you do for others,
The less they do for you
It's the way society is now
But that is just my view

Who Cares For You

Wealth brings many friends , but a poor man 's friend deserts him.
Proverb 19:4

Who cares for you?
When we separate with good people
We feel to cry,
        Remembering
              The good times
                         With them.
When we separate with bad people,
We feel much peace ,
                 Happy... so happy,
                            Trying to forget
                             The bad times with them.

Who cares for you?
How does joy make
Us feel when we  are
Surrounding by the people
Who love us  and see
Our  importance
To them?
It is always good to have
Two or three
People who real  care for you
Than having thousands
hypocrites who can leave you
 In hard times.

Who cares for you?
You will always notice
People who real care
For you when your house
Turns  very dark,
Night becomes
Long than a day,
Dams , rivers ,
Lakes, and oceans dry,
Rains stop for some months.
Strong wind blowing days and nights.
Burning sun over your heards.
Different diseases rise monthly
And you don't have some  money.
Wife and kids are looking at
You for daily breakfast,
 Dinner,
Supper
And different bills.
Good people will share their supports
But some hypocrites
Will leave you,
Blackmailing
And mocking on you
here and there.
Laughing
At you every time,
As you turned to be
A dark humour poem
Wrote by circumstance
And  problem
But In the rainy season,
They will return
Without being called.
Apologising today and
Tomorrow
Trying to laugh with you
From your window
Pushing you
To do thing for them,
One by one telling his" her" problem
To you without asking them.

Who cares for you?
I really care for you
Dear brothers
And sisters
Reason why
I took my valuable
Time to write
This adorable
Piece of poetry
So that you may
Really identify
The person who cares
For you on this earth.
I  love you with
My full heart.
The poet
Who smile here
And there
Because
My love
And
Your love
Readers
will be
Victorious
