In a cosmic world where marvels dwell,
There lies a well where truth does swell.
Under the surface of the cultural tide,
Dissemination of erudition, hence and wide.

Yet, amidst the waves, dishonesty lingers.
Distorting the successful and the weaker
Be empowered to deceive and ensconce.
An idealistic facade where virtue is sparse.

But in the depths of this deceitful sea,
An epiphany awaits, for all to foresee.
A childhood memory of chastity and bliss
That truth was pure, and deceit was dismissed.

A poisonous world may shroud the mind.
But the wonders of verity forever shall bind.
Akin to pollinating bees on a kinetic canvas,
Seeking nectar from flowers is so vast thus.

In this meadow of erudition, we yearn to descry,
The ageless wisdom is unflawed and comply.
In the well of truth, we perceive the light,
Ushering us through the gloomiest night.

Oh, how avarice can pinch and sting.
But verity embrace is an everlasting thing.
It displays the world with hues bright,
Cleansing the soul and bringing forth delight.

In this enormous depth of a world so sumptuous
Let verity be the criterion, the steady unctuous.
In its embrace, we descry our demesne way,
Navigating through every ephemeral day

In the depths of the well, we espy our worth,
A vestige of our genuine niche on earth.
To quest for knowledge, to master, and to grow
To endorse the elision and veracity within us flow.

And it is on this jaunt that we shall arrive.
A candid and guileless mind is graceful to thrive.
Let us, then, face the mysteries that await us.
And acquiesce in the core of verity to emerge, thus.

Farewell Its Verity

Farewell, the theme of life,
after seeking world hardly with a knife,
none can we stop - reaching – the den of pride,
we have to go alone following a bride.

Farewell a sense appears a while,
hard to get it back, the lost secretion of bile,
tears flow a moment like the majestic river Nile,
none can we stop – reaching – the den of pride.

Farewell – we mean – detachments of hearts,
no longer found roaming – the certainty of marts,
shedding all the memories,
memories of the past, happiness and worries.

Farewell – the tears stand fake, dripping away love,
happiness thrown away, hatred wins above,
stop shedding tears with no meaning at all,
the tears hamper the view forming a liar’s waterfall!

Strive hard for triumph or see farewell again,
shedding fake liquids, no palpable pain,
I promise to keep farewell alive, with less joy and death,
and feel the meaning of farewells truth, hard passing the last breath.

Verity

He took her hand into his own
The disparity of age and youth
The memories of times once known
Dared he to face the truth

Palm to palm, there combined
Two souls revealed they cared
Warmly bonding intertwined
Conveyed the love they shared

A tear flowed down the old man’s face
As her hand then slipped away
Hiding despair behind his grace
So alone he felt that day

Cherishing this moment in time
Through tears he smiled and thought
Of those moments so very sublime
Her hand in his had brought

Sweet Verity

We wander through this cold world

forever in search of answers;

Finding ourselves tipsy in thought,

drunk on the words of a fairytale,

and wasted on the idea of Truth.

Only our bare feet will know

what it's like to travel so far

along a path parted with Despair

merely because a lie

could never be painful enough

to stop us from seeking the truth.

And as we learn more about what a question is,

we seem to learn more about what an answer isn't.

So we clench our fists in distraught

as we're forced to watch

what we thought we knew

slowly drown in rivers

and meander into oblivion.

But as much as we connect our nighttime stars

to form the words in our fairytales,

we'll always remember

how desperate we've become

to simply begin changing the truth

we thought we wanted to hear,

because perhaps this white lie

sounded a little less bitter.

Searching the rear view; I do see with clarity.
All that occurs in a lifetime is by Divine Design.
The purpose and plan for my life; its verity.
Searching the rear view; I do see with clarity.
His scarlet thread connects us in solidarity.
Pruning people plants, grow, mature, refine.
Searching the rear view; I do see with clarity.
All that occurs in a lifetime is by Divine Design.

Searching the rear view; I do see with clarity.
The purpose and plan for my life; its verity.
His scarlet thread connects us in solidarity.
Pruning people plants, grow, mature, refine.
All that occurs in a lifetime is by Divine Design.
The light of God illuminates the truth, making it shine!

Doors to Verity

I live in this imaginary world,
A world away from reality.
I fear to open the doors,
The doors to unveiled verity.
I shut my eyes and wish,
Wish forever to cling to this fantasy.

Premium Member Equality's Verity

Male and female --- God created* them both
Such anchors equality’s verity
Having exactly the same source of breath
Designed to bear the Sovereign’s image
Optimizing granted growth avenues.

Gratefully serving as vessels of love
Fulfilling varied roles with utmost best
Midst faith that propels assigned tasks and chores
Cognizant of gender distinctive traits
Sir and Ma'am are needed greatly alike.

Beautiful life with Mr. and Mrs.
Wondrous family of good partnership
As father and mother with might and grace
Brother and sister of caring gestures
Poet and poetess asserting kindness-bliss.

*Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

The light always
Reveals the shadow
For what it really is.

A fight always
Ends in victory
For the good that’s within.

The sun always
Gives life here on Earth
Its miraculous existence.

After death there are
Forms of rebirth.
Eternal cyclical creation.

The world always
In bouts of conflict and peace.
Evolution, reincarnation.

A soul always
Lives on, while the body remains.
Spirit compensates and the body decays.

The truth always
Within evolving beings.

Premium Member Verity of Truth

Truth* upholds golden rule’s functional verity
Authored by the Lord of supreme sovereignty
Loving others as one’s self with active surety
Promoting genuine kindness midst gracious duty
Combatting greediness-caused grievous enmity…
Such we have learned from our homes where starts charity
Making families stay in caring unity
Despite sibling quarrels over what is petty
Putting end to conflicts and their severity
Since reconciliation becomes priority
With pardon, understanding and respect’s beauty---
Let’s win against fake news for good fellowship’s perpetuity.

Truth** braces justice and joyous peace-settlement
Propped by God, steadfast Anchor of perfect judgment
Driving soundly blest compassionate engagement
For productive partnership and development
Against any destructive aggression-movement…
Yet when deceit lurks for selfish gain’s enhancement
Igniting battles along falsehood’s involvement
Causing global unrest and growth impediment
Truth is first casualty for lies’ aggrandizement
Jeopardizing golden-rule’s love-based agreement
Robbing children of its triumphant fulfillment---
Let’s win against foes of truth-reign toward freedom-advancement.

Troth

Why's your jaded tongue so slyly used
To words buttered with ensnaring tone;
Piping fibs empirical proofs poorly prop,
Waxing lies into truth's patented throne?

I with all joints and full sinews distrust
Grandiose jibes oiled by your tired lips;
And luckily mock all façades and crust
With which you gild your tempting trips.

No backing writs your warping crafts
Uphold with faintest discernible facts;
Nor do your self-blotting points agree
With any of the truth-tied deities three.

And not for tons of pleasure-lilied wiles
May I in dream your baiting tunes sing;
And neither for gain of full cosmic clout
Might my soul fall for your deking miles.

Man's indeed contented heart only craves
Pure verity as passed by its martyr slaves.

Verity

The flower of sorrow will be seeded in your soul
and all that knowledge may relinquish
to the eyes of your heart
will seem a burden

A burden of lightness be it
yet still to drag from a tourniquet throat
a teardrop of acids sting
as you bathe in the eternal sea

It is your love that tortures you so
upon the mountain peak still brought down to the rubble
and though fearless in staunch conviction seem
always your faith will be questioned

Verities hand she has laid upon your awakening
gentle compassion to be challenged by iron
to be the disavow of blindness
and you will suffer the laughter of ignorance

Verity, you will hear her name in your dreams
and her frustration will make you solitary
and although you will smile
to be sure you will also weep

Verity

After all is said and done,
Before the summer's end
Cradling our broken
Dreams when
Everything is dead, after all the
Fires fade and
Greatness falls to ashes,
Happiness a whispered rumor
In seas of deadmen's tears
Just to
Keep
Low spirits full through
Meand'ring years, when
No one's sure what
Once they knew, and what the
Point is now, when everyone's a bloodless
Queen of Hearts and Love is
Rare, all but forgotten...
Shunning rays of daylight just
To follow trails of stars
Until the last black dreams of
Verity are
Wiped clean from all our minds, a
Xenogenetic society, free from rights of birth,
Yet undeterred from pursuing dreams of our own plastic-smiled
Zealotry.

Figment Or Verity

Into the forest, I find myself... lost.

But then I catch a glimpse of something small... just my imagination.

I put my face in my hands and then I hear something... I'm alone.

I get up, start walking, no path in sight... lost.

Then I see something small peek from around a strange tree... Imagination.

I look closer and realize that it is not just one, but two trees, One dark, and one light... Found.

I now see exactly what has been following me or leading me... not an illusion.

The trees grew so close together that they have almost become one... Not alone.

The creature jumped up and into the center of the twisted couple... Purpose.

This was not just a couple of ordinary trees. This was a place where energy was focused. A place you can only find if you let everything go, including yourself. One oak tree, one birch, twisted but not hindering. Leaning and holding. Lifting and nurturing.

Truly a beautiful sight. So, I sit. I breathe. I'm Home.

Verity

Verity

Telling the truth to people close to you
is a difficult feat, the accusations and repercussion
can be dire.
When you puncture the picture where they see
themselves as helpful people.
The unvarnished truth is they will rob you blind
and expect you to be grateful.
Those who were your friend will not help you
for them, assistance have a pecuniary aspect,
If you let the trespasses against you slide, you will
think of yourself as a coward; and those who were
your friends will feel contemptuous of you.
