Figment Or Verity

Into the forest, I find myself... lost. But then I catch a glimpse of something small... just my imagination. I put my face in my hands and then I hear something... I'm alone. I get up, start walking, no path in sight... lost. Then I see something small peek from around a strange tree... Imagination. I look closer and realize that it is not just one, but two trees, One dark, and one light... Found. I now see exactly what has been following me or leading me... not an illusion. The trees grew so close together that they have almost become one... Not alone. The creature jumped up and into the center of the twisted couple... Purpose. This was not just a couple of ordinary trees. This was a place where energy was focused. A place you can only find if you let everything go, including yourself. One oak tree, one birch, twisted but not hindering. Leaning and holding. Lifting and nurturing. Truly a beautiful sight. So, I sit. I breathe. I'm Home.
