Best Utter Poems
One cold day, I was burning up
The rain outside was dry
The sunshine, mooned each falling star
Out there, inside was I
Reading, when I'm fast asleep
I saw no movement stand
I reached without and outstretched arm
to flick the fly that land
Bouncing, being very still
I thought it lively, dying
When up it sprang, just flatly
All it's energy, spent trying
Salt I sprinkled, as it poured
Atop, the underneath, it's belly
Finally flopping, to and fro
Then landing in my jelly

Do you fear dying?
Have you breathed utter darkness
that tests your resolve?
The night is ghastly only
if you lose sight of Heaven.

Listen to the forest in the depth
of one’s mind and craft
arresting soundscapes
from within.
Gaze into a spectral morning
dazzling anew and watch
those scales that slither
from one’s eyes,
Utter silken threads that pulse each vein
with choral church bells ascending
thru a literati conduit.
Wallow in the cascade of an oceanic blue
and cherish every vital sea green moment

Remember that lady you fell in love with?
Do you remember that man that made your heart beat faster?
The people you promised the world too?
What happened to them?
I know the years gone by has left their mark
They might have grown a little older
But do you know they still want to be your everything?
Do you remember that first few months?
You couldn’t compliment her enough
Do you know even today, she still yearn to hear you say
“Honey you look beautiful today”
Do you remember how you use to text him every day?
Even if it’s just to say
“I miss you”
What happened to those days?
Life happened
Do you realize that with every passing minute
She might still want to hear those words again
She might feel that she has lost her beauty
The appeal she use to have
Maybe today he might want to hear you say
“I miss you”
Maybe he wants to feel needed in spite of your independence
Don’t forget to show you still care
Even if you think they know it –
Sometimes we forget to say it
When the person in our lives needs to hear it the most

Here's a good bit of news,
that I just discovered!
A guy fell into an upholstery machine,
but is now fully "recovered"!
This is more useless info,
I came across a week ago!
Atheism, is a "Non-Prophet organization"!
Just in case you didn't know!
Someone made a query,
just the other day!
"Where do you find giant snails?"
"At the end of the giants fingers," they say!
A fellow was a little thirsty one night.
So, he stopped by his usual stop!
All of a sudden, a skeleton walks in!
He says "I'll have a beer, and a mop!"
For years no one could tell me,
but I finally got my wish!
"What do call a fish with no eyes"?
The answer is, "a fsh!"
A recent invention is great!
The inventor, is quite an achiever.
It cuts four loaves of bread simultaneously,
it's called, A Four-Loaf Cleaver!
Sorry folks, that's enough punishment for now - Sorry!

When sneezing does it feel like you head will come off
I'm always ready to catch it much to my friends guffaws
They cheer and high five me
As I stick it back on with glee
Quite a spectacle, utter amazement it can cause

Limerick
The way you sit and comb your hair,
with languid strokes and shoulders bare;
your gazing at the looking glass,
reveals your pedigree and class.
The way you walk with swaying hips,
the way you kiss with melting lips.
I love the way you come to bed;
it’s in your smile. No words are said.
And furthermore, as time goes by,
no mists have melted from the eye.
If truth be told, no ifs, no buts;
it’s very clear - you drive me nuts!

in the language of personal amplification
you'd think it was all a scam
to make you drop your guard
and play patty cakes with Evil
job 3 was to rearrange your molecules
into an actual you
capable of withstanding
the outcomes you generate
from a lack of detail
where science is not to be found
there is no other description that fits
praise the panoramic vista
just around the corner
it's all about the pivot points
so fat chance
among the exploding galaxies
minus the swashbuckling pistoleros and
armchair Romeos and
prisoners of doom and
fairytale living sacrifices
victory is not always a given
you have known this for years
when the paparazzi scribblers
were the Freedom Brigade
where your body parts
take on a life of their own
and deductions don't necessarily
insure your survival
and the mystery remains
job 4 is to better organize thoughts
the game of influence
is the game of influence of judgment
and in sum job 5 is to look at our expectations
and their reliance upon
the letters of the alphabet
separate inputs perceived as one
is an angel
allow me to present you
with the keys to the code
two eyeball pictures perceived as one
within the freedom to inquire
the fanatics want to stop time
that is all there is to it
in which case
a mild dose of persistence never hurts
vision is numbers is evidence
we suffer the memory of past volitions
many of them not our own
we have been engineered to be throttled
yah I took the long way home
much to the disgust
of every entity in the Universe
the list of culprits is long
you have been reading it
no surprise relief on the horizon
police could show up on my doorstep
at any suspecting instant
but the obvious comes easily to me
when I am uninhabited
that's what you get when
you stop trying to be appetizing
for those who cannot tolerate self mockery
there is a train load of pity
to add to the weight on your arms
when in doubt go for the learning
do for the learning
be for the learning
rampant imagination may be
a low grade ore
but the nuggets will blow your head to atoms
enjoy your nodule of security then
keep in mind it can quickly vaporize
in a new modality of immediacy
a traveling mosaic of instants
the next one looking back on the last

"That's utter balderdash," I loudly screamed
you can't catch a dragon with a mousetrap.
This operation proves you have no clue
we're in trouble; put on your thinking cap!
I'm sorry, but luck is not on our side
and we don't have the time for dissension.
Apples to apples we don't stand a chance
it's your life; you had best pay attention.
Jumpy, you're frightened of your own shadow
and before nightfall you'll be hearing things.
Setting traps is a total waste of time
it's a foolish plan, for dragons have wings.
You boggle my mind; I have to speak out
let’s let common sense affect the outcome.
Don't risk getting seen, until we spot it
and don’t attack it with pitchforks, that’s dumb.
We'll need to do everything in stealth mode
using a password other than guess who.
And by employing our wits, we’ll listen
for a kerplunk; dragons like water too.
And then we’ll fling out all our fishing nets
that we'll secretly prepare in advance.
And hope it gets hopelessly entangled
for I think drowning it is our best chance.

The complete, utter terror in her eyes when I came to the hospital that day.
Made me want to turn around and run away
before I knew what the doctor had to say.
"Sir your Mrs. has been very nervous this afternoon," came a reply from across the way.
You see, surgery had been performed on my wife,
and now she was not okay.
When I came in, it was apparent that she already knew the bad news,
because the terror in her eyes gave way
to tears and she grabbed me by the hand and I sat down to hear
what serious game, that life now had to play.
The doctor spoke to me and I looked at her and again saw the terror in her eyes,
as she on the bed did lay.
Then he said, "It's not appendicitis as we thought,
but a ruptured ovary instead but there's more today
A great mass that we have found around the ovary looked bad.
We had it diagnosed and from the lab xray,
We could tell that there was something there
that is normally not displayed.
And this you have to know about this unusual and rare disease. That when an ovary
ovulates,
it may or may not go, to all the places you suspect
that a tumor would not grow but very well could stray.
To any part of the body, within the pelvic range.

There are some things in life,
that seem a bit absurd!
Like why is "abbreviated,"
such a long word?
Doctors are thoroughly Schooled and Trained.
Consequently, I'm quite appalled,
cause once they start seeing patients,
"Their Practice" is what it's called!
Another thing that bugs me,
is why people have such trust,
when the person who handles their assets,
is called "Their Broker"! That seems unjust!
Do any of you folks ever wonder,
maybe not, but I certainly do,
if a number two pencil's the favorite,
why is it still number "2"?
About now, you're probably thinking,
he must be a pain to his wife!
If you could talk to me right now,
you'd probably say "Hey, pal - Get a life!
So that's enough of this drivel.
I probably should throw it away.
It's just a bunch of nonsense,
what more is there to say.
Sorry people, back to my padded cell!

I stand barefoot in the golden yellow sand,
yearning for your tender touch,
as you steadily approach with gentle steps;
I see the vast sea softly dousing the shore,
and my words come out in a gasp of sob,
as I utter your name in fond hope;
Come, oh love, breathe life into my weary soul
and wrap around me playfully,
touching my warm cheeks with your cool breath;
Hearing your soft murmur of angst
wafting smoothly into my ears,
I whisper in your ears my aches of love
and heave a sigh of soothing relief..

I planned all night that when I saw you we would finally converse and that I would finally get to know you better.
Between all of the passing glances.
And not being able to catch up to you sooner.
Tomorrow would be the day I catch you when your not busy and fill you in on what's been on my mind.
But of all the craziest things.
I forgot the words mid sentence.
My lips moved but nothing came out.
You stood in anticipation.
I stood anxiously waiting for some type of sound.
Constantly playing this moment in my head before actually getting to this moment.
I stammered over every word.
Stuttering over the simplest of words.
I barely managed to get my name out.
I held my hands out and paused.
Inviting my lips to let at least one word out so this situation wouldn't be completely awkward.
I continued to stand feeling beads of sweat begin to form against my forehead.
In a climate controlled room I felt like I stepped inside of my own personal hell.
The simplest of words were the devil.
At that moment embarrassment became my biggest sin.
I don't know if it was bitter sarcasm.
Or a good sense of humor.
But I did finally feel a bit of relief when you told me that you didn't speak good english either

Mistress Lana thinks she is
my Central Committee guru
sends her greetings to the downtrodden masses
she's downtrod a bit of real estate in her day
ground under her boot heel
investment swindlers and barbershop quartets
at the kaleidoscope factory
perforated by her errant profundities
we are all struggling to not miscalculate
pull push take your pick
now there's a predicament
for all you blast bunker capitalists
which reminds me of a story
heard at a jungle campfire
where the insects are noisy and busy
and kept the listeners awake
for weeks and months and years
anyone can sleep like the damned
apparently it's a default state
I wonder who paid for it
that's the hard part
knowing who to accuse
now shall I tell you the story
you merely need to read this again
illumination for the illuminable
even the sacrosanct is open to inspection
what does it mean to interpret
have I lost my audience
and proudly so
pride being a kind of referee
to a game no one understands
a discussion of the attributes of style is next
let's call it “poetry immanent”
to distinguish it from all the other kinds
that are incantations of templates and patterns
rather than changing through the channels
yes puzzle solving will upset everything
it's an app that comes bundled with discomfort
the pixels will dictate
the shape of your next breath
while skipping down the Delphi path
existence plays a game with us
a game with us
a game with us
existence plays a game with us
and we just play along
