Unfolding

Unfolding.

When you kept getting up
After you've fallen
Endurance was already there

When you kept fighting
the anger in you
Peace was already there

When you understand
the why - way you behave
Knowing others is already there

When you finally let go
of low self esteem
Your true value is already there

When you did your best
to conquer your fears
Courage was already there.

When you complained
about life's injustices
Justice was already there

When you opened the door
to let isolation out
humaness was already there

When you finally got fedup
with your own misery
Happiness was already there

When you kept rejecting
your worst behaviour
Goodness was already there

When you gave up hatred
of your fellowman
God's image was already there

When you finally gave up
unrelenting guilt
A clean conscience was already there

When you felt lost
because Paradise was lost
Paradise found was already there.

Love Unfolded Like a Flower

Love Unfolded Like a Flower
by Michael R. Burch

Love unfolded
like a flower;
Pale petals pinked and blushed to see the sky.
I came to know you
and to trust you
in moments lost to springtime slipping by.

Then love burst outward,
leaping skyward,
and untamed blossoms danced against the wind.
All I wanted
was to hold you;
though passion tempted once, we never sinned.

Now love's gay petals
fade and wither,
and winter beckons, whispering a lie.
We were friends,
but friendships end . . .
yes, friendships end and even roses die.

Tears, quiet, dead, useless tears falling,
Sorrow from a deep chasm of endless grief;
And my soul and heart are always weeping,
Stealing my happiness, life, like a thief;
And I am left broken, drifting like a leaf.

O Lord, whisper courage for my journey,
It is a hard choice to leave the past behind;
I want to soar like a wild bird happy,
Like a rose unfolding her petals in time;
To ride the wave of life, to seek and to find.

Unfolding

As the world unfolds
You see the evil and you see the good
Where there is bad or worst and where there is better or great
Where there is confusion and where there is understanding
Where there is forgiveness and where there is ever last issues
Where there is happiness and sadness
Where mothers cry and mothers laugh
Where there is rich brothers and brothers who are poor
Where death takes and birth brings life
Where deception and perception
Where you see a man's inception becomes innovation
Where a woman's ambition brings change
Where God is seen through miracles and the devil is seen through deeds
Where a name becomes definition
Where voices of truth are out spoken by lies
Where talent is categorized
Where there are gifts and where there are cures
Where they is me and you
To make a decision...
If you are soft to turn hard
If you are hard to turn soft
Where they is me and you
To make a decision.....
If you are warm hearted to turn cold
If you are cold hearted to turn warm
Where they is me and you
To make a decision
To either be a victim or a victimizer
To bring change or leave thing to remain the same
Where they is me and you
To either see the world a perfect or to see its imperfections
To be realistic or to be stuck in fantasy
Whatever our choice is
The world will still unfold.

Unfolding

In the interim
 Between birth and death
 I appear visible
 As air becomes breath

 Whirling I spin
 The warp and weft
 Of tremulous, fickle
 Vagrant flesh

 The stuff of dreams
 Sparkling and wet
 Oozes and spools
 In echoing depths

 In underground pools
 Whose length and breadth
 Is the height of oblivion
 In memory's debt

Unfolding Love and Peace

Love is tentamount to holy eyes,
For the image of peace shall it devise,
There shall bloom the roses of humanity;
Planted with compassion devoid of vanity.

Leaders with greed eyes throw the swords for power,
See not their hungry and meek country suffer,
With triumph in their mind, victims are left trampled on,
Innocent bloodshed, love and peace are gone.

Some altruistic leaders hear the innocent cries,
Who lend not deaf ears and see not with blind eyes,
Dedicated to satiate the hunger,
Lifting the weak making them stronger.

Love is blind for colours that discriminate,
Merely the tranquillity it does disseminate;
Love and peace sits when no caste, creed, race
Are defined with merciful almighty's grace!

Let's sow the seed of love and peace,
Teach children too, we'll reap the fruit of bliss;
Unleashing the era of peace and love,
Serenity shall embrace akin a dove!

Seeking silently,
the unfolding unfolds, still-
Trampled silhouettes.

Unfolding

Black ice in a
white glass, I drink today
philter for moon.

Paradise, I
find nowhere. World sleeps
on tenterhooks.

The yellow dead
rose lost naked feel,
in blue water.

Unfolding

When the deep dark wind of pain starts folding in around me

you take hold of my hands and wrap them in love.

It seems that this way of darkness unfolds right before my eyes

it's your love that keeps me alive

So precious is the thought that unwinds

of the way things use to be

when you found me the first time

You shelter me in Thy Grace

Your hands touch my face

Your ways are true

when we meet one day in the world anew

the shadows will fade and you'll make me new

Oh how I long for the time

when I see you coming in the sky

your heart in mine

the darkness leaves

my heart starts to sing

A new song for you

when we all are made brand new..

UNFOLDING

I was born in light of nature's splendor
The Almighty One is my soul Deliverer

I was born to rise with faith somehow
I am messenger goddess of the rainbow

I was born when the moon in her element bloomed
I came forth to song of rain, my heart in tuned

I was born a quiet stream, a whisper
On stage of life I learned to holler

I was born when summer began to simmer
Mama said, each September, Belizeans are happier

I was born the third of seven
Like dew in spring, I've grasped concept of heaven

I was born to voice and pen my opinion
I revel in thoughts given by One and only One.

Loves Unfolding Dream

Verse 1
If there’s a time, if there’s a place, for you I’d truly wait
Our love endures from page to page
To mesmerise, to synchronise and so epitomise
Steps of harmony throughout the age

Chorus
A bright horizon, such a blissful scene
An awesome treasure, held in high esteem
Joining forces, solid as a team
You are, you are
Love’s unfolding dream

Verse 2
To visualize, to recognise, true love that defies
Soaring high beyond the skies
A seasoned fall, to give my all, delightfully enthrall
A beloved dream now realised

Chorus

Bridge
Love’s unfolding, love’s unfolding dream
Love’s unfolding, love’s unfolding dream
Love’s unfolding, love’s unfolding dream
You are, you are, love’s unfolding dream
