Imagine Nation

Imagine(Nation)
(Inspired by and Dedicated to the Memory Of John Lennon)

Imagine nations of togetherness,
Brothers and sisters becoming one,
Imagine nations on forever's quest,
One heartbeat staring at one sun,
Imagine nations with outstretched hands,
Offering each to a stranger's needs,
Imagine nations who understand,
Every person hurts, everybody bleeds,

Imagine nations ending war,
Sans malice, and abundant smiles,
Imagine nations unlike before,
Teaching love to every child,
Imagine nations achieving grace,
Serene lives and elated minds,
Imagine nations on an infant's face,
Full of innocence easy to find,

Imagine nations devoted to peace,
Wishing no harm on any man,
Imagine nations as we know to cease,
Reborn and taught a perfect plan,
Imagine nations of future times,
With love becoming the tie that binds,
Imagine nations by this elation,
Imagine nations with this Imagination,

                                    Light Shines In Total Darkness

A moment in time where love should leave
                           when incompatibility muddy crystal waters
dissolves a tie that binds divine connection
widens the abyss as dream loudly shatters

Down on my knees I begged for a reprieve
gazes polarizing for to her nothing matters
in locked cages lay vestiges of desperation
intimacy now in tatters mutated to cinders

Aged moon will not commiserate then give
nebulous promises to stop onrushing tears
nor rays to light the path toward contrition
and turtle doves waving wings that glitters

Weary eyes reaching for salvation perceive
apparitions raising me up to alleviate fears
cleansing this heart throbbing in exultation
as grass springs anew...while grief withers.

As you exchange those precious vows,
I view the scene through happy tears--
white lace, your prince, sweet looks of love,
broad smiles, no signs of nervous fears.

When Blues and Royals coat and grand
Givenchy gown are stored away,
real life together will begin.
Your choices will be wise, I pray.

Remember, please, the promises
you've made today; and always keep
them faithfully. May your love grow,
and may you laugh more than you weep.

My dear, you’re now a Princess and
a Duchess. More importantly,
you hold the title “Daughter.” That’s
the one that means the most to ME!

Dear Harry, you’re a Prince and Duke;
some day you could be Britain’s King.
Also, you are a son-in-law--
to ME, the most important thing!

You’ll face some challenges unique
to royal couples. There must be
a tie that binds you through it all,
that LOVE so clear for all to see.

Father's Advice On Being A Man
("For Adult Contest")

Father said to son never be ashamed to be a man,
should you get married, live your life with a plan.
Not too harsh or rigid, else failure you will see,
be a good decent man, the one you admire in me.

Life can be so very cruel, the world can be too,
live deeply as you love, loving family as we do.
You see, it is the responsibility to be as good
as your life will permit and you know you should.

Never be ashamed for the world to see you cry,
cry for joy, as life does go on even after you die.
Write your core principles deep into solid stone,
for there are no overs after we are passed on.

Know that love is truly the great tie that binds,
watch whom you embrace, the world has all kinds.
Mothers are to be held in a very special embrace,
with love in your heart and a smile on your face.

If life ever gives you far more than you can bear
ask family to help, just you remember to share.
Remember the love coming from Mother and I,
walk a good path in this world and know the why.

God's Labyrinth

A game I play in a race in a maze against no ordinary race.
Where my human mind begins to raise the thoughts in box of lost and
found.
In order to see I have to open my eyes and sweep the seas.
The passion within will never exposes to compare the picture of one's
stare.
Water and fire are 2 simile only I choose to see.
Hot and cold no one knows the beauty that will never show.
The sun and moon are 2 buddies blinding us with beauty like bullies.

Pulverizing my pain darken the stain with nothing to gain.
look inside you won't see beauty on this side where I hide while I'm
alive.
Love bought me time from the enemy at the gate of hate and crime.
Ashes to ashes a life with no trust a box of rust and dust to dust.
To find the tie that binds true beauty beyond the skies, I would truly
have to die.
I hold my chest~ pass all pawns across the chess of God's land holding
his hand.
A puzzled walk connecting~dots of faith, hope, and victory in God's
Labyrinth.

My Grandpa

My Grandpa

There are not many people in this world
That could say they have a Grandpa like mine
For as long as I remember he was always there
And when I went to school he’d call to see if I was fine

He taught me how to ride the bicycle
And brought me home a new fishing pole
Together we’d pack a lunch and a thermos
And head for our favorite fishing hole

He taught me how to clean the fish we caught
And how to bait the hook just right
He showed me how to bring in the fish
Especially the ones that put up such a fight

I remember hot summer days
And we would pack up and go swim
And camp for weekend of fun
Those memories for me will never dim

He is gone now these many years
But I will never forget the many times
He filled that empty feeling I have now
He was my anchor and tie that binds

No I shall never forget the times
He would tease me into a smile
Telling me how much he loved me
 Making my summers all worthwhile.

He left behind so many things
When he left this world for another
But time marches on and the day will come
When once again we’ll be together

The Family

THE FAMILY

Still came the child in all her energy and essence,
her smell of nickel and pumpkin, of lavender and bay;
in little songs she's hummed, in her oh so gentle play.

A universe herself,
before she landed here;
in radiant lovely laughter and dropped inside a tear.

Then he came too, a baby bunting blue, strong with sinew
and happy in his plans, to dig and take apart;
to see inside and quiz, and instruct his earnest heart.

He came as daddy's hope,
with a dream inside his head;
he long created plans and the dream was always said.

Lady mother, to them both,
with soft and creamy skin;
and breath to breathe inside herself to give to her and him.

She married all in hope,
for the best of happy times;
and the joy that filled her eyes, she sung in blissful lilting rhymes.

Man daddy, rugged as rock
and quiet in his thought;
could always love them all, for the secret that they brought.

He found his life in her.
She found her life in him;
they laced in focus on their love and spirit kept within.

Different in their worlds
yet cozy in their minds;
that safe would be their life, since that's the tie that binds.

Looking up to God,
then seeing in each face;
their eyes are flecked with stardust, that came awhile from space.

A family in a dream,
too tiny to be seen;
to great to know it's process in the galaxies routine.

Premium Member A Distant Love

We'll never feel the warmth of love's embrace
Chilled ripples on the skin from it's caress
Experience first hand that sweetest taste
Or kiss away sad tears of loneliness

To love her means I'll die a thousand deaths
Each thought, each dream, a poniard through my heart
Then say, "I love you," with each dying breath
A Shakespeare tragedy played out in parts

Yet love is unrestrained by boundaries
It lives and grows inside the heart and mind
The feeling that removes all quandaries
True love is still the strongest tie that binds

Regardless of the miles we are apart
The love we share connects from heart to heart

In the Beginning

The beginning has begun – light breaks through a broken past.
I walked around the turn and jumped through the looking glass.
I dizzied in the bend, and knew it wouldn’t last,
my battleship has sunk… the flag now at half-mast.

A garden I now grow, and tend it every day.
The Cheshire Cat - it grins – love’s lust in a passion play.
I seek the path that leads, believing I won’t stray…
No beginning and no end; A tie that binds, they say.

The Green Lantern

As I walk into this den of lions,
hungry whores and liars lying,
green light shines upon my talons,
and I am where my kind belongs
For none can break this tie that binds us;
wicked, wretched weave inside us;
living, breathing, breeding virus,
and I am right within the wrong.

The Sirens sound, the dark surrounds me,
Hounds of Hell, they maul and mount me.
Devils pour the whiskey down me,
drown me in their emerald sin.
Yet when I wake alone tomorrow,
poisoned by regret and sorrow,
deep in debt; no love to borrow,
it’s off to Hell I’m bound again.

Homecoming

Homecoming is a time to celebrate,
A time to draw close once more,
To strengthen the ties that bind us
With God’s help- now and forevermore.

It’s a joyous day when we can go home again,
And visit with friends that we hold dear.
Renewing old friendships, and good times we’ve had,
Laughing and sharing, with friends from both far and near.

Blest be the tie that binds us,
And draws us closer with each passing day.
The fellowship of good friends is worth far more,
Than all the treasures the rich have stored away.

Premium Member How Do I Love Thee, Let Me Count the Ways

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

                 (Response)
What magnitude of love, thou hath for me
A flowing fountain welleth up inside
Overfilling my heart with love and pride
Merely mirrors the love I share for thee
Our two hearts were meshed by God's blessed grace
Our love strengthens the tie that binds our souls
Untempered by heaven, forever it grows
Immeasurable love through time and space
Countless stars will sleep, winds will rise and fall
My darling, I thirst and hunger for thee
Please bringeth forth thy love and comfort me
The love we share encompasses all

Such Divine love before unknown to man
Such true love shall never be known again

response to Elizabeth Barrett Browning's sonnet
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways...

Time Thief

I'm just sitting here thinking about how much I miss you
Your beautiful welcoming face comes into view
So comforting and full of sunshine
The way I feel about YOU impossible to define
My love forever tracends through space and time
You didn't deserve to be part of his shameful crime
Paybacks a bich your ASS it's all mine
But of course for a comment you politely decline
No one's safe until your forced to resign
You know what you STOLE wasn't yours it was MINE
IN my eyes YOU should have to do hard prison time
TO the cruelest prison for you they should assign
Become someone's little *****
Mortified when he says..
back off he's all mine!
Your a murderer and a thief of precious time
Your the lowest low your low sneaky swine
I asked you how she was?
And you said she was just fine
I knew that very second
pay attention look for a sign
DO the math
You + her = rapid decline
Through her pain she was strong never one to whine
You know what you did
I know what you did
you crossed the line
I don't worship you like others do I don't see no shrine
You'll get what's coming to you
GET over your self You must be blind
Your bedside manner is sorely lacking all too easy to find
Messing with the wrong people we stick together
it's that tie that binds
WE give loyalty new meaning family redefined
Were here to remind you what you Took and what she left behind
Your mix of cocky and arrogant deadly when combined
You could give a **** less
Oh God can't we rewind?
DONT worry I am a professional everything be just fine
Your self centered words
wanna wash your mouth out with turpentine
will not quit until we are satisfied
Hold on tight Doc get ready for one hell of a bumpy ride
Followed by humiliation & career suicide
Now we're even
one to one
the score is tied

Tie That Binds

two streams meet at fork
two branches twined together
two hearts beat as one

Love and Memories (Immortal)

Souls are separated,
From the doubt inside the mind,
Romance evaporated,
Still, emotions remain blind,
Dreams of together breaking,
Hope for this life never thrives,
Yet faith is newly waking,
For soul mates stay alive,

So, lovers dry your eyes
It's okay,
Keep memories in the sky,
For brighter days,
As real love never lies,
And true love never dies,

New days and new hearts aching,
For a chance to be surprised,
Eyes wet and body shaking,
From the pain felt deep inside,
Love and infatuation,
Seems to be the tie that binds,
With hearts reincarnated,
Stubborn soul mates reign sublime,

So, let your spirits fly,
Fly today,
And soul mate dry your eyes,
It's okay,
Memories stay alive,
For true love never dies...
