To Take Each Day As It Comes

To take each day as it comes
To gratefully praise The One
Joyfully face the new dawn’s grace,
That's now my everyday plan.

To take each day as it comes
To guard my thought as it roams
On anything or anyone
That's now my everyday plan.

To take each day as it comes
To be careful with my words
To use the value of my hands
That's now my everyday plan.

To take each day as it comes
To do everything I can
And bring a smile to not just one
That's now my everyday plan.

To take each day as it comes
To celebrate other’s gain
Not consciously cause another's pain
That's now my everyday plan.

To take each day as it comes
Not all the time comes the sun
For sorrow comes to everyone
And that I must understand.

To take each day as it comes
And know that I’m but a man
I will be glad, life’s not that bad
And do my part in God’s plan.

*A resolution during a time of disappointment.

Premium Member Take Me to Xanadu

O, take me there, where mystical realms of starlight glisten
Pearlescent tapestries, indulgent in ethereal aura of Venus,
Emboldening me in celestial embrace, swept in your love,
As you ignite embers of passion, setting afire ardent souls;

When elatedly I speak, to quest amorous, of flirtatious eyes,
Greeting your smile, charmed in radiance of moonlit skies,
Humming rhythms esoteric, not heard, in quite some time,
Laudatory of fervid senses, blooming in tempest of desires.

There, as you recite preamble to our life, extolling paradise,
Together we rejoice, purity of joy, in blessings of Aphrodite,
Longing heavenly garden of Eden, themes amatory entice,
Scripting blissful allegory of love, verses enamored write.

Listen my dear, as love strums music, lauding a sacred bond~
O, sweet melodies, emanating from depths of our hearts,
Echoing memories of yesteryears, fondly treasured for long,
Tolling hymns affectionate, revered in life’s beloved song.

Thrum now dear, tunes intimate, hearts and minds surmise,
Exploring Milky Way, amidst purple dream-scapes of nebulae;
Take me to mythical gift of life, lascivious in moon’s delight,
O, take me to Xanadu, where love is the life’s ultimate prize.

To get my heart in the right rhythm, I have to catch your inner you
Holding hands kiss colors inside sunshine warm paradise

Together we share our dreams with a glass of pink champagne
Celebrating a living memory of eternal beauty sparkling gems glisten

We will find ourselves in an everlasting magical journey
Where the golden barley shakes silken softly whispers in our breeze

I'll walk with you through ages of time
Uniting as one shadow embraced dancing silver treasure

Pure angel of dawn, you've stolen my heart
Weightless without body floating beautiful falling inside the soul's desire

Premium Member Give and Take

The give and take in love should reach a mean
whereby the two be equally disbursed,
so givers' hearts would never suffer lean,
cold hungry hours without love reimbursed.

And those who take would never reach the stage
of ravenous and selfish, one-way traits.
Such balance would create a better age,
if give and take maintained their equal weights.

But somehow this could never balance out,
for givers give beyond the gifts they bear;
in turn, must feed on crumbs, for without doubt;
the hungry takers take beyond their share.

While takers tip the scale with all they gain,
the givers, weak and thin, smile through their pain.

Pegasus,Take Me There

Winged horse
bright,star studded
my dreams fly with you tonight
light years beyond this starry sky
Pegasus,take me there.

Night sky
a tinselled cloak,
unveiling it on your wings
a journey among twinkling stars
nearer to God's home.

Premium Member Take Me To Nirvana

Free me from servitude of constraining boundaries
Guiding life’s journey, questing meadows pristine,
Beyond void of nothingness, afar hills of misery,
Rescuing from oblivion, from doorways of abyss,
From pathos of mortality, from realm so ordinary,
Take me, sweet fairy, beyond world of drudgery.

Thrusting spirit of vitality, show me where to exit,
For verdant prairies burbling streams of serenity
Buoying ambrosial instincts of ethereal themes,
Seeking supernatural intrigue of esoteric dreams
Vying ecstatic feelings blossoming dawns of bliss;
Take me, sweet fairy, to the frontiers of tranquility.

Navigate me away from emptiness roiling destiny,
Away from the distraught flaunting pride egoistic,
Away from ambitions yearning things materialistic
On the wings of enlightenment leading to harmony,
Transporting to transcendence~ heavenly, idyllic;
Take me, sweet fairy, to peacefulness of sanctity.

Lift me above darkness of life’s tenebrous clouds,
Enlighten visage of impercipient, ignorant shrouds,
Attaining equilibrium within purpose and meaning
Discarding grievances that steal virtuous equities;
Take me to nirvana ~ to paradise of utopian peace,
Take me, sweet fairy, to domain of blissful ecstasy.

Premium Member Take Pride In Yourself

It's easier to focus on what's gone wrong,
Than it is to see what's gone right.
But in every life there's accomplishments,
Like wisdom, gained goals and touched lives.

Celebrate all the things that you've done,
And all the things you plan to do.
Remember that from an acorn seed,
The mighty Oak tree grew.

Celebrate all that you have become,
And all that someday you'll be.
The future can hold something wonderful,
If you just have the courage to see.

Every dream has the power,
To make something great unfold.
All you need is a little faith,
To have courage and help you be bold.

Believe in yourself and the things you can do.
Believe in your talent and skill.
Believe in what God has given to you.
Believe that you can and you will.

Premium Member Take My Hand

To those who want a world with peace
To those who want all wars to cease
Find love and hope within our land
Please reach out and take my hand
For those who hunger to be free
For those who look but cannot see
Praying for all to understand
Please reach out and take my hand
With arms outstretched for they who plead
And spending their lives in dire need
Nothing seems to go as planned
Please reach out and take my hand
If I should fall shedding bitter tears
Be overtaken by my fears
And if my castle sinks in the sand
Please reach out and take my hand
When I feel lost with no control
And I’m on my knees, pain in my soul
Help me then to take a stand
Please reach out and take my hand
Darkness falls and the night is long
Alone we are weak, together strong
We can reach the Promised land
If you reach out and take my hand.

Please Take the Time

So many times we see someone in need
Most walk by while they piteously plead
Plead for help that may not come
Plead for love because they have none
So many people just don't take the time
To support their fellow man
Like it's too much to be kind
Too much to give a helping hand
To someone who needs it, please take a stand
Stand up for the ones who cannot speak for themselves
Stand up for those who live their lives in hell
They need your help, you may be the one
That saves their life, think of your son
If he were in need and you not around
Would you want others to laugh at his frowns
To see him in need and lift not a hand
To help him up out of no man's land
You'd want strangers to aid him, I know that's true
But don't forget help can also come from you
We are all in the position to assist
I know you know that, but here's the twist
In helping others we also help ourselves
And that is a great reason in and of itself
It feels wonderful to help those in need
To sleep soundly knowing you did a good deed
So please when you see someone who has not a thing
Take time to help, it will make your heart sing

Don'T Take For Granted

Don’t take for granted the love of this woman,
the wonderful one who has stolen your heart
Cherish your every moment together,
miss her the hours that you are apart

Stand and protect her in armor clad fashion,
show her the sun when there’s rain in the sky
Walk hand in hand down the path of affection,
take to the clouds as the two of you fly

Stay by her side when her worries start growing,
give her a hug just to show that you care
Tend to her dreams so her world can be magic,
hold her so close in these days that you share

Whisper soft lyrics as melodies linger,
paint her the sunset you see in her eyes
Promise her all she could ever imagine,
pen her a poem of romantic sighs

Conquer her fears when her teardrops are falling,
caress her skin that is soft to the touch
Kiss her with passion between those so tender,
prove to her always you love her so much

Don’t waste a minute, the future is waiting,
now is the time, it’s not too late to start
Don’t take for granted the love of this woman,
the wonderful one who has stolen your heart

 Take Out the Landry

Dirty laundry for years on the floor
finally the dirt is out the door
Quebec is cleaning house
separatists being laid to graves
like Napoleonic mouse's
bury their rhetoric too
twelve feet deep

Wrinkled ex leader with
no musket or balls
no lead, leaderless
man of poisoned dreams
nationalist and king of hate
trumpets play for his distaste
if your wool is not pure
you do not belong on his shore

Villain as Lucifer or Lucien
robbing the people of their future
all for his midget delusions
now to be inhumed
in his own dirt
he will of course blame
the Chinese laundry mat
who lost his ticket

He is not to be interred
in red rags
honor will shed not one tear
where is his Nazi flag?

Boxed at Notre Dame
the church like Vichy
honors dictators and their clan
funerals they all say nice things
still
they toss out the laundry
as Canada sings

Only Toronto thanks him
for the prosperity

It is through joy future should be measured
Love's temple will be built as a warm nest
He stretches out his hand and touches her lightly
A hand can be a silent prayer for love
The hand can often say more than a mouthful of words can say
"Softer than the summer wind - his loving hand" she whispered tenderly
Hold her by the hand ... do not let go
Merging hands together in everlasting love
A warm and tender hand ... a hand giving and do not require
Take her heart in your hands ... know the strength and vibration of love
Her life is in your hands ... forever she will stay with you
Put an eternity ring on her finger ... Shaking hands with joy
From that day they always go Hand in Hand
Two, we must be to build the temple of love

Throw your high-heeled shoes
Forget daily stress
Dance barefoot in the sand
Grains of sand between the toes
Lace and pearls on her dress
The shirt is new and smooth
Straight cut and fit
Glimmer of evening sun
You are in limelight
A disco ball in the real nature
Dance is enriching for the soul
Establishing new relationships
Mood on top
There is nothing that stops you
The energy explodes
For pure pleasure
The best party ever
What are you waiting for
