Medicine of this soul faraway with a dream seventh Heaven looking across a sea
the other night went for a walk strolling against a cold wind distant thoughts

Crying seagulls on the beach looking around even snow lying in the sand
it was quite an awakening cold cutting ice wind blowing across the brow

Listening to the echoing roars crunching of great cliffs tasting salted air
waves crashing thunder I thought of you as the surf sprayed on shores

Oh the moon as the winds howl laying golden whispers your name landing wishes fall on a star sparkling beams Heaven you came to me under a crystal blue white light

An angel fallen who found one miracle lost in this world drunken in the chalice of love
each drop dripping passion adoring loves beauty forever and always

Premium Member The Joy That Sweetly Stays

In our lives, we’ve been rendered feelings
in varying degrees of happiness -
prickles of gladness
derived from such events as those
of tasting victory,
of making someone smile, of giving aid,
of basking in the company of friends and family.
And who cannot remember the euphoric bliss
of his or her first romantic kiss?

Eventually our recollections of contentment blur.
Sensations once so strong become
as paltry as the particles of sand washed
again and again by waves of time.

However, fond remembrances
are never totally repressed.
It’s what we keep of them that keeps us strong-
. . . . that keeps us going on.
It’s our human lot to be
longing for an unfurling of fulfillment.
And for far too many, joy is elusive,
coming but in bursts before it fades. . . .

Life and lessons gleaned from it
all point to the way. but
who of us will ultimately know
the joy that sweetly stays?

Premium Member He Sings So Sweetly

He sings so sweetly
that little birdie,
upon his red-beaded branch;
oh I wish I had the chance
to his tune, to dance.

Christmastime’s so bright,
with a blanket of its white,
I wish to go outside
to play, run and slide,
how smoothly my paws would glide.

Inside this tree is pretty,
but listening to bird’s ditty,
I find I have a craving,
to go investigating
and engage in some ice skating.

When Santa comes to call
upon our Lovely hall,
I’ll ask him for some skis
for which, to get relief,
my boredom, will be appeased.

When Birds Sing Sweetly,

When birds sing sweetly ,

bright notes fall on deaf ears.

My sightless sockets
no longer watch the setting sun descend
in orange splendour
behind purple hills.
My fleshless limbs reach, suspended
in un-returned embrace,
and hope sleeps in earth’s damp bed.

I once walked in your place, above,
treading soft amongst the stones,
my mind fixed firmly on the stars;
warm wind stroked my face,
framed by a pale blue sky.

I gave no thought to those below;
long chains of lives laid out in rows.
I brushed aside insistent whispers,
growing louder year on year;
Time’s breath at my back,
closing in an ever-shortening shadow.

I am so close I could call out to you-
stretch up to grasp your ankles as you pass;
but my soundless cries are impotent
as dust on stone
scattered by the merest breath of air;
all thoughts dissolved
in earth,
and flesh to grass.

Soar Sweetly Siren

I’ve seen her out there stretching and reaching
Word flights of whimsy ire and fire bare and brazen
Whilst I down and clumsy totter to reason’s edges
Full of envy wishing and craving for her way with words
Standing on Fancy’s nightly beach
Looking up into thousands of twinkle light stars
Clouds of them filling the void of black with light
All suns planets galaxies all past no now no future no life
I look down at my wet feet
Cold wet feet
Sand and salt water running between my toes
Toes that carry more life than all that up there
Nails need trimming again
Where does the time go
Half naked ash stand in brown carpets
While red gold swamp maples laugh
At the sumac’s yellow clouds of tiny tossings
It’s time to shine and shed again
Swell roots with winter sap
Let the wind blow through in wasted fury
Let new branches feel the air go by
Stand fast and watch the leaves in flight
Ablaze in danced delight

Premium Member Sweetly Fragrant

Sitting under the pale pink running rose
At the end of a beautiful Autumn Day
Searching for inspirational sonnet to compose
For my love who lives in heaven's way

To me He's like a honeysuckle vine
Blooming in the month of May
Sweetly fragrant essence among the pines
He's like the gold of mountains that's refine

To me He's like the babbling brook
Sweetly singing in tune
For everything in heaven He forsook
Fo prove His love for me is beyond the moon

Words cannot describe my love for Him
But daily I'll try to draw close in His realm

Premium Member Sweetly Loving Beauty

Returning a pearl within each silver breath lining one gem treasure
sweeping over deep sea waves tides turn in loves pure pleasure

Blue unfolding white washed emotions, sweeping over feelings
touching feathers of an angel floats inside warm strokes a celestial being

Woven inside golden petals kiss the magic heart of this shell opens
hovering fingers dance fluttering hot waves galloping upon the crest breaks

Sweetly landing on the sands of loves sweet beauty happiness sings
in paradise holding two souls join hands bells of Heaven rings

Walking towards a sun setting dream rose gold crowning beauty
Eden desire bites from the tree of knowledge faraway uniting hearts duty

Sweetly dance together in an ocean tune flying without wings
salt of this earth wet lips tasting destiny kissing your feet love rings

Beauty graces sea nymph with eyes of diamonds and bright sea-gold hair
wonders of all majestic earth no other maiden glows quite so fair

Heavenly notes echoes sweetly in the majesty of her alluring love songs
praise pours forth as she shines to delight her ever adoring throngs

Sun and sky conspire to gift her a wondrously staged ocean of calm
all the astounded world bows and eats lustily from her gentle palm

Tales of her beauty greater than palaces of diamonds, rubies and gold
angelic countenance that was the envy of legendary fairy queens of old

King Poseidon bowed down in defeat, laying love vows at her dainty feet
unable to control the ardor of his massively deep white-hot love heat

She that wept for a day and time with but one deserving male human soul
soft touches and wet kisses with that lost prince her secret love goal

Returning as a pearl within each silver breath she offers her treasure
sweeping over deep sea waves she rides, a dream of loves pure pleasure

Sleep Sweetly

Sleep sweetly Jay, sleep sweetly

Will you dream of toys

Of little cars, and dinosaurs

You precious little boy.

Sleep sweetly Jay, sleep sweetly

All cosy in your bed.

Will you dream of aeroplanes,

Or puppy dogs instead.

Sleep sweetly Jay, sleep sweetly

Close your weary eyes,

Mum will lay down by your side,

And sing you lullabies.

Premium Member She Grasps the Heart Sweetly

I am running away eloping
with you sweet love
inside the mind
Silently breathing ore sighs

A golden whisper blowing honey
melting treasure treats
softly in the wind silent warm
Blowing on precious pure beauty

Touching petal feelings
fluttering without wings
sweet carrying emotions from the soul
Dancing within music one song forever

Glowing warmly desires
sings gentle satin drumbeats
in a cotton echoing harmony
Always chocolate kissing nibbles

In every single thought that whispers
love endearing each heartbeat
skipping gasps
Sweetly grasps the soul
warming echoing sighs deeply loving you

Sweetly Greeting You

My love
a taste of sweet choco
with slightly bitter coffee
then we bathe together in citrus lime
cleansing our souls from lust
until the last drop that remains
is our unconditional love
sprinkled with a spice of passion
to keep us going strong
for whatever comes
we will embrace deeply in faith
nudging soft pink thoughts
into each other's dreams
I sweetly greet you
My love

Birds Sing Sweetly

they're bickering
in the swing, while
birds sing sweetly

Premium Member Sweetly Full Pantry

And so it begins … my crew will over treat
themselves to ample chocolate for I have just stuffed our
pantry sweetly-full again:

No one will know why the stocked, offered sweets, meant to last
about a week were otherwise offed before two full days passed;

All will be equally mute and dumb about sweet crumbs in play
room, den, beds, and chocolate lint-hit debris inside pockets;

No one will claim a food mess made and left to be discovered,
no, they will all blame pals, fictitious gerbils and each other;

When a sweet ingredient vanishes that I bought for a recipe,
no family peep will be able to describe or imagine its demise;

and, despite my threat of live yard burial, they steal my favorite,
small chocolate morsels to top off their bowls of cereal.

I have a good-sized, hidden, box stocked full of the best stuff.
Looking thru cleaning products would be conduct void of any
profit so I am confident my stash, by child or spouse, will never
be found.

I often hide in my closet to suck or chew my way to chocolate
heaven. When eat-hiding, I fuss about my kids lack of desire
raring to thread a needle of ambition to sew up some
consideration.

All of my offspring take after their dad; they are myopic and
episodic. They overeat, overly zoned out on electronics like lab
rats on narcotics.

You Have Sweetly Occupied My Mind

You have sweetly occupied my mind
Each day I awake thinking of you

I imagine your beautiful eyes
Your luscious lips haunt my inner thoughts

I imagine holding you close in bed
Kissing and caressing in my dreams

Each day brings us closer together
Each day we explore one another

As we proceed slowly over time
Our passions kept secret and discreet

We have lost control and went off track
We always return even stronger

Your presence is truly a God-send
I belong to you and no-one else

You have sweetly occupied my mind
My lovely partner and sweet best friend

Premium Member Darling, Sweetly Go

The path you walk I adore. Seeds I’ll scatter around.
Then from earth blooms will pour to grace your precious ground.
A highway I shall lay for you. Sweet violets I shall sow.
Where blossoms spring into view, Darling, sweetly go!

Premium Member Sweetheart Singing Sweetly

Silence soothes the senses with
Sweet sensations showering down
Sweeter than sugar, a seasoning
Saltier than the seas, soft and sensual
Sultry beneath sensitive breaths of
Sunlight sending light to supply a
Subtle and splendid supplication to
Share spiritual stances with souls
Slaving, surviving, seeing past the
Sincerity in serenity, sparkling scenes
Seeing spent ideas swaying with
Signs that a sweetheart sings sweetly
