Kindness - POTD

POTD 2 July 2018

Humans are capable of ‘Changing their State’. At times, a stressful, negative fusillade can be encountered from an individual wishing to subvert a person for whatever reason.

Lady Gaga so aptly describes this in her video clip above - and she should know through experience.

Kindness is a sentiment no one can ultimately reject.

Hard to do you say? - It’s easy.

Firstly, refuse your alter ego permission to react immediately.
(Your alter ego is programmed to protect your from a ‘painful’ situation)

The brain is a Bio-computer and can easily be reset to ‘Default’ by breathing into your abdomen (not into your lungs), - hold and then exhale, each action performed slowly to the count of 6.

Accusatory fingers pointing ~ eyes glowing hate
Seeds of venom spewing forth slanderous lies
Jealousy in all its inglorious green eyed splendor
Wool clothed wolves with undetectable smiles

Any tick of the clock it creeps up upon you
Evil plays no favorite it’s any man’s game
Seeming to push you up that stairway of victory
Then perniciously denigrates ~ disavowing any blame

Damned if you do ~ Damned if you don’t
Kindness perceived as weakness gets cast out the door
Tendencies to vacillate creates chinks in your armour
Resolutely walk the tight rope ~ lest your knees hit the floor

Eyes wide shut to the Evil all around us
Detach from this Chaotic Web in which we dwell
Be the Peace that ceaselessly penetrates the darkness
YOUR prerogative is to choose either ~ Heaven or HellPOTD 2 July 2018

How different this place
this sanctuary feels, here
inside one’s head. Where
insidious illusions fondle
a subvert mind, and obscenities
resonate within the confusion,
when fidgety creatures, assume
guardianship of my preternatural
situation, scurry around my space,
creating lattice of fabrication
across the quaking ceiling.
My imagination becoming
their fodder, my perception
their power, my tenacity
their strength, before spinneret
interweaves segregation of my
day and night.
Bollocks! To the physician of eastern
promise, he that controls this
nightmare, drip feeding diurnal
poison to this empathy
lost within an advocated paradox!
“Yet surely I have no need of
hatred, now I am confined within a
fragment of one’s dream.”
A genus of warmth; yet a confused
state of perplexity that knows
no boundaries, where bloodstain
walls survey me, incessant shadows
dance in gutless sunlight, and
radical rays anoint me with
“Hope and religion.”
I call out to Rock’n’roll!
Sammy Turner gives me
an impetuous rendering of
“Lavender Blue.”
Then I see an old man struggling
with his own situation. Touched
I call out.
“Are you ‘Jesus Christ?”
He scans my inquiring mind.
He senses I’m an imposter,
he raises one finger
affords me two words!
Both of one demystified syllable!

Subvert
Their plot is cleverly disguised, patiently abiding time,
Whilst higher on the economy they climb
Making dime their only crime
They have almost succeeded they’re on their prime.
Job losses loom
Internet sales boom
Diverting blame they have no shame
Greed and corruption The final game
They have a plan, a mission statement if you must.
You are mad if them you trust.
They show their strength with forced suppression
the world is plunged in Great Depression
Question their agenda a little bit more
Do what you can to even the score.

Self reliancy stimulates political independence,
pragmatic critical thinking spurs revocation of spurious Partisan information,
vigilanteism guards against the Juntas,
systematic interdiction of peoples' ability to to procure food, self educate,
self medicate, and to self defense is a vital instrument in disabling citizens' morale,

it is true that several Companies provide 'civil rights' that are subject to repeal,
but these liberties must conform to security & production for the State,
the more detached we become from the land the more immense our collective ignorance,
Will to struggle recedes like red from the dying rose, spirit is sterile,
sciences are employed to subvert the passion of men, to mire the maternity of women,
to emasculate the youth, to assault the temperance of ladies,
as the bison were decimated so to fascilitate the conquest of the feral Indian,
the Anglo-Saxon farmer & tradesman were displaced by manipulated Markets,
corporations rabid with greed, fawning to increase world trade
and to blowt stock exchanges, enlarging theaters of war & dictating foriegn policies,
an arsenal & circus of judges, lawyers, politicians, academics, entertainers,
elastic options such as Inflation, minting money, loans, and criminal dockets,
Abraham Lincolon & John Kennedy desired to reestablish democratic banking
and were both slain as dangerous heros,
cartel suzerainity always wins,

an agrian ethos is too intractable an opponent for oligarchial commerce,
as laws are ineffectual to dissuade a starving man, leaves don't stop the rains,
there is no need for insatiable government when one can grow crops, build homes & and micro manufacturies, where trade is honest& equitable, no swindles,
division of labor for maximum productivity at the expense of individual health,
eradication of heritage to ease trade, passivity in exchange for integrity,
can libertarianism be retrieved from the vice of the mold maker,
will we deliver this odious model into the depths of the galaxy,
will there always be captivity,
regulated life is controlled life, and that is enslaved living,
words ' make the world go round ',
we are subjects of international law codes,
Freedom dwindles -

Introvert V Extrovert

Can i drift away in your silhouette?
or just stare consciously at the road ahead
for technique is lucrative in the battle
but whats a battle if you're already dead
listen carefully
I'm planning to subvert the misfit
who is unworthy of the crown
but sovereignty doesn't appeal to me
in all honesty if darkness attacks
all i want is you beside me
the love would be all the protection we need
but when your gone i would be...
waiting for the second coming
and you my goddess
are made in my image in likeness??.

Premium Member With You Here In My Life - Song

With you here in my life:
All enemies seem far away!
With you here in my life:
No longing have I now to roam!
With you here in my life:
The world seems like it’s meant for play!
With you here in my life:
Your aura’s warmth is always home!

Chorus:
Oh where were you when world began,
And where suppose was I?
And where the bridge that crossed time’s span
In twinkling of an eye?

From dust we’re made, to dust in kind, (1)
From star’s hearts we were blown,
To share Creator’s heart and mind,
It’s all we’ve ever known.

God knows this cannot stand:
Illusion hide your heart from me?
God knows this cannot stand:
Demonic agents Love erase?
God knows this cannot stand:
Our stars subvert astronomy?
God knows this cannot stand:
Without us is there even space?

Chorus:
Oh where were you when world began,
And where suppose was I?
And where the bridge that crossed time’s span
In twinkling of an eye?

From dust we’re made, to dust in kind, (1)
From star’s hearts we were blown,
To share Creator’s heart and mind,
It’s all we’ve ever known.

Poet's Note:
(1)	‘in kind’ – An English idiom. Suppose you are selling eggs, and I am selling bananas. You give me 3 eggs and I give you 2 bananas in trade. No money changes hands but we both accept that the exchange is a fair one. The sale then is said to have been 'in kind', i.e., produce for produce.

God gives us the star dust to make our bodies and when our lives are over, we pay it back to him 'in kind.'

Premium Member The End of Faith

Two thoughts come to mind this morning.
The deficiencies in our systems of governance–local, global–
and the first two pages of The End of Faith
in which he mistakes acts of war for religious acts
but recognizes understanding the workings of the world
is not the same as knowing the unknowable.

Every new twinge provokes fear
but what is there to fear? That one won’t live forever?
The year of a man is the day of an inchworm
and 267 years on a reverse-rotating Venus.
A billion of anything is a lot
unless it’s the distance one must traverse to look at God.

How much silence, or tinnitus, can you handle?
A chipmunk cannot for long stand still.
Once the twinge passes I’m off to the next task:
building a constituency for this compassion, that solution.
The dialogue starts with a question. To ask the question
is almost certainly to find an answer.

Conflating questions is the commonest of logic errors.
No negotiation unless the violence ends.
Why not talk while we fight?
We can always kill, torture or assassinate between conversations.
Justice, or retribution if you want,
can remain on the table even after we achieve understanding.

Nature is my religion, I know no other,
and community is my church. The sacrament
is policy debate. I attend church everyday.
Our jobs are hymns (the classifieds a hymnal)
and payment for services rendered is sung praise and gratitude.
Walking and talking is prayer.

Strategies to limit or subvert discussion are the only evil.
Violence is one
but not by far the only one.
What’s the hurry to build a highway or free a people?
The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time
and time is the mercy of eternity.

To Calm My Soul

In these days, foretold as the last,
daunting memories from my past
echo in chambers of my mind.
Soon I will leave them all behind
and saunter through an open door,
leaving behind what is no more.

But restful peace alludes me now.
I wonder, with a furrowed brow,
what do I seek but cannot find?
What have I left so undefined?
Is there answer to my query?
Why do I shoulder this worry?

There may be a sin to confess,
a reason for my restlessness.
Within me is a wound, not healed,
a festering that will not yield.
If my concern is to find rest
I must subvert this constant test.

From this stirring there is no cease
no modicum of soothing peace.
I am a potter's vase of clay,
crumbling, fit to be thrown away.
I need more courage to withstand.
Help me, God, please offer Your hand.

Bronx Street Corner

she became a new york city
street corner fixture
acted like its the only place to be
acted like its the place for the persecutor to begin
after all all men are guilty
none are forgiven
so she painted false hearted judges
to prop up her proposition
to subvert the natural truth

she lied when it came down to the last hours
but i was unsurprised i had seen her coming
the deception was the rationalization
means to the end
just because you can lie means you should
integrity means so much more when
there is no shame in the game
so once again i ask
just because you can lie means you should
isn't it about change
or was that just part of the lie

i walked away
on a north bronx street corner never to return
no regrets
she had sold herself at every chance
for two bits silver
for a lies chance to shine
but i will not be there to suffer the consequences
just because you can lie means you should
isn't it about change
or was that just part of the lie

Planet of the Grapes

and so the grapes
conspired
met in secret bunches
eavesdropped
on the vintners
during their
wine sipping lunches.

too win we must
subvert their minds
causing loss of focus
torturously tenderize
rendering it “mocus”.

we must accept
our crushing fate
entombment in the
vintners cellar
convince them
their dreams absurd
are absolutely stellar.

we’ll infiltrate
the highest realms
of the intelligentsia
cripple them
in brain cell death
of alcohols dementia.

they will tend
the very vines
that nurture revolution
unknowingly
complicit in
our forty proof solution.

Pearl 1

PEARL

Invested with iridescence
Calcium carbonate could impersonate
And subvert solemn daylight.

In the indifferent ocean
Oysters copulate with future
And grow gravid in nature.

Begetting a rare solidity
Befitting a miniscule masterpiece
Which is just happenstance

For a huge price, this prised-out gift.

Face It

According to Dr. Twelfth
Cosmetics impact health
Subvert true love by stealth
And squander limited wealth.

At the end of the day
Beauty rinses away
And the face on display
Appears withered and gray

All that money and pain
Is flushed down the drain
So its hard to explain
Why they do it again

When it comes to a test
The face men love best
Is not self-possessed
But quite manifest

In Ye Olde Gene Pool race
Neither beauty nor grace
Could begin to replace
A familiar face!

Clean cut; people clean cut.! Well styled suits, groomed to impress we gel well
in success, success reads so well.. Glitz is the goal WOW the 'surface' the substance.'

Cut so clean.' free standing see you all & now; how i'll stand not bow..
Yet my whole truth? there's another side too, so today oyay.. Oyay.'
When I knew I'd been cut.! I felt the keen, clean cut after I saw blood
Felt its wet slick flow.' the air hit me cold then I felt the blades touch..!

I slipped into the gutter, feeling shock in the fog; a fog of de'je-vue
How was made that clean cut.! Cutting away my humanity; tearing up
the deal struck with me, going to a better source its just a buisness
of course.!

So back to the stage, to a new charge who'll be groomed.' To the clean
cut scene, and sin.. What then its purpose? & Is it always to subvert us?
I take note of its action, can I repel its attraction? it starts blunt as a weapon
that over time starts to sharpen, with indifference it hardens, reminds me
of bad times, of my ancestors whoredom; drudgery worldly serfdom' of
the chains I am wearing, the pain deeply tearing pushes me deep into drown

Become aware of the driver; satan the conniver who through this whole
gamut, is 'himself' just a marker a 'pawn' shades of darker, whom you will
use should it please you, if you want to show us who's who.' So when we
sop ourseleves deep in.. In the oceons of a worlds sin, we will be turned to
our insides? will we tire before we expire? fed up to our backteeth of sin & its
mis-chief.? become ready for redemption; Clean cut from the marle of the mire

Cut from the cords for the fire, when sin has outworn us before death 'is' to call us, of one thing be certain, Jesus rent that great curtain.. Faithful & True
He beat down deaths sting, so forget now your mis-givings to call on Jesus the mighty, call out now contritely.. From the the heart of the humble, from a soul that has stumbled, become 'in Him' to rightness one more spark in His brightness.'

Sequel To a Girl Was Raped In a Bus That Night

It is time to grieve a cop has died
Son to a mother, darling father to a child
Leaving kin behind and many more
Claimed by the force to have been beaten to pulp by a mob seeking gore
An honest cop fell of which there are a few
But it wasn't the cop that the movement slew
The lie is contested by those present, who saw
The ugly face stands exposed of the upholders of law
They tried to twist facts to make a point
In our country even post mortem reports can be purloined
Claims made by the force are inconsistent so far
The cop wasn't battered but it was the chief’s attempt to tar
Civil society and a spontaneous movement by far

He succumbed to cardiac arrest and possibly the atrocities he witnessed that day
Taken care of by civil society who sought assistance for his medical care
Humanity grieves whenever a life is lost
Foolish decisions by foolish men and look who’s paid the cost
There will be an inquiry, a routine government demand
But in this age of vendetta politics, the state will likely seek an innocent's remand
So vitiated is the administration’s vision today
For a cop’s death a political adversary will have to pay
But in that ill fated time there was only one villain in the fray
The rest were civil society gathered near Raisina Hill that day
Policemen on duty who had donned their uniform
Forgot the law and the oath they had sworn
Striking citizens in chilly December with water cannons and batons
They have to learn policing anew from more civilized nations
The collateral damage the chief spoke of like some Bollywood goon
Has exposed him for what he is – our national buffoon
Listen governments past and present
It is time the Augean stables were cleansed
If the freedom guaranteed by our founding fathers is not assured today
If the birthright of security that a woman needs is trivialized and frittered away
Lest ye forget the girl’s condition hasn't improved and remains critical
Time to introspect and delve into a mindset, still medieval
A handy tool to cover misdemeanours and serving well your political ends
Who turn on their masters and subvert truths for your petty gains
You in Government remember we are a billion or more
Our votes count – come 2014 and election day, you’ll be shown the door

The Great Wall

THE GREAT WALL
It’s funny and this is true
Years ago, I thought hopefully of being locked away
I envisioned more of an institutional setting
Nothing to do but roam in my robe
Fingertips lightly brushing the sterile, white walls as I go
No responsibility
No need to even say a word
There’d be talk of Crazy Sachs
Staring into space, wandering wordlessly

Much of this has come to pass
The walls are green and I’m a bit more verbose
But there is that talk
And not much is asked of me besides being seen not heard
I offer this anecdote
For it is the second biggest example in my life
Of the difference between fantasy and reality

Novelty fades fast
Occasionally instantaneously
Expectation begets exaggeration
Excitation leads to exasperation
All in all, between dreams and evil schemes should be a Great Wall
Mine was more an invisible fence
I passed through and was aghast to view the consequence
Slashed through thick vines for a sick crime
I was them first two pigs
Dicking around with straw and twigs
Unhinged when the wolf blew in
hit bricks because the walls were too thin
You can’t always get what you want
But if you try sometimes, you might find
What you want isn’t what you get once it’s got
Now you have to lie down in an unmade cot

Ruin, subvert
Cause one to hurt
Feel lower than dirt
That’s it in a nutshell
Just swell I’m in a jail cell
Bars make for a fine wall
Look, not touch at all
Plan how to build
With my unskilled
Hands that killed
Nearly
