A Verse by Eve Roper and James E Lee Sr- ALL CHILDREN OF GOD-IT’S UP TO US TO LOVE-
"Thank you”, Father
For the Children, all children
Oh! Lord
"Thank you”, God
For the their lives, all children
Oh! Lord
And God.. It’s up to us
To love, teach and model
What is good God bless the little ones..
Oh! Jesus it’s you whom are a true role-model
It’s neither those peers nor pressures of this world
And My Lord it’s you that we should follow
Not man, not my earthy father or mother
Oh! Jesus you, teach and model and take care
It’s you whose the true and the light that shines here..
It is good, you are good God bless
As we do thank you for those little ones..
We’re all children of God.. it's up to us to love, teach and model what is good
"Thank you”, God
For the their lives, all children
Oh! Lord"

A Dedicated verse to Eve Roper
BASED OFF WORDS BY EVE ROPER
A Verse written by Eve Roper and James E Lee Sr
A Verse by Kim Rodrigues and James E. Lee Sr.-
He Sees Through His Beautiful Eyes We Are Worthy and Worth
As such, we much;
Remain (in…)
Such a beautiful refrain!
Continually praise, our Living King;
Jesus
And I go further
That we are all are God’s children
And we’re worthy
Worthy
Jesus
The sinner and the saint
and we must see the beautiful eyes too!
Glory, Glory…
Alleluia
Jesus
And when God looks at us
Yes! We’re a mess, just filthy rags
But when repentive are true selves
He sees through His beautiful eyes
We are worthy and no longer worthless
Jesus
And I go further
That we are all are God’s children
And we’re worthy
Worthy
Jesus
The sinner and the saint
And we must see the beautiful eyes too!
Glory, Glory…
Hallelujah

Oh, and you my friend are truly blessed;
Oh, love of mankind may God keep and continue rewarding you,
In every way each and every day;
I stand at the gate, and as I wait;
Your faith, your poetic heart;
Enlightens me and gives me courage;
Alas and you my friend are truly bless;
Your talent and your immense kindness!
Gives us hope and guidance;
In every way each and every day;
I stand at the gate, and as I wait;
For I am first, a lover of Jesus;
Alas and you my friend are truly bless;
And I am first, a lover of God;
Oh! And I’m next a lover of mankind;
And all that I am Lord God then man, I AM;
Let the people who read this say... Alleluia;
Let the people place this in their hearts Alleluia;
Let the hurt and blessed come together and witness;
Alleluia, alleluia Amen;

Acrostic - William Patrick Darnell Sr
Willingly loving people as God would do;
Intelligent funny, wittily making you chuckle til blue
Listening with his heart so others can speak their words
Learning what he must, trying not to make a mistake
Ideally, he wouldn't live as he has it was his to make
Aiming toward his stars for some solitude at a sway
Minding his own business, walking down this lonely road.
Paying it forward, for there's no greed to his soul;
Always praying for others and their needs as it foretold
Tries to do what's right when this world is losing its way
Reaching out for a conversation with some play
Ignoring politicians as they do America wrong
Chooses to see and take people for who they are
Kind, mindful, and thoughtful because that's just who he is.
D-reaming dreams, he longs for the life he once lived;
Asking God to Bless his people, always as I pray to Him
Real as he can get, yearning for his late wife, she REST
Nothing fake about him, ask God, through your hearts
Element of surprise is his wisest decision made
Loving himself finally, he hasn't done it for a long time
Learning as he's chosen, with Christ Jesus, by his side.
So it's time I find an end to a good old country song,
Respecting others and living out my days.
Ice Cream Companions An Acrostic by James E Lee Sr.
Indefatigable brownies ingest eaten with chocolate cake.
Chewy candies treat nuts and cherries.
English toffees mixed in milk and cream boysenberries?
Crude digests absorb ate to fast brain freeze.
Red strawberries absorb flavor.
Edible earths erode moo cow liquids.
Adjacent frozen earths review.
Mixed topping drizzle chocolate, strawberry pineapples.

With the roar of that motorcycle
You got one more ride ahead
An asphalt highway The wind in your hair
A younger man with eyes of an older soul
That gate is waiting for you to round that bend
Hold on tight for a great beginning
Lite by love and heart
You cruise right on in with that purr of those two cylinders
Freedom from pain and freedom from strain
You are on your way Uncle Rich
Heaven's gate wide open like a throttle
Welcoming a kind and gentle man
Who was loved for his toughness
As well as his tenderness
We will miss you down here
Give gramps a great big hug for us all
We love you so god speed to you
Keep on admiring the view
We will make you proud and We will see you again someday soon.
Splendiferous, once was love;
it’s heights a peak of madness:
A burning need, a flow’ring seed
blooming with passion’s delight.
Differences seem to balance.
Weaknesses offset by strength.
A missing part connects two hearts,
Imperfect, but now complete
Hope and dreams unimagined
take root and begin to grow
with focused beam upon the scene--
a future slowly unfolds.
Day by day the living starts;
small quirks begin to annoy.
Somehow you find, through daily grind,
wide fissures and cracks appear.
First, comes the stiff, cold-shoulder;
then, talking turns to silence.
Throughout the room, pervades a gloom,
the pall of love in death's vice.
‘Til all that’s left is walking
despite certain pain and fear--
a scarred flesh with no hope-chest
to sustain it on the way.
Now prayers of intercession
Erupt from faint heart and lips,
a healing spell, curing the ills:
Holy balm for what afflicts.
One day, Love will stroll back in
to mend emotional wounds;
Transformed by grace, upon the face
of a soul in need of rest.
Hold strong to your faith, my friend
when the darkness overwhelms.
Until such time, you’ll ever find
my friendship is always near.

This is the second poem I've written in this original form of 7-7-8-7 where the third line consists of six words with internal rhyme on words three and six. Now, I think the form needs a name. Any Ideas?
“My eyes look for you;
My heart bleeds the truth
My spirit enters your soul completely
as it strips every fiber weave and holds my hunger.
Gradually weaken the mask I always wore until there was none.
You’re the rhythmic beating flicker gently,
songs pass my ears lodged in each chamber of my heart.
It is you I seek.
By doing the above
Reaching up
You complete me”

Daddy does drive Deere's down
while working with wheeled
loaders, loud loader loading
the trash trailer, timely.
Ride rocky, ride(roof, roof)
backing, beeping, buzzing.
The Seed—a Fiction Narrative Verse by James E. Lee Sr a Alexander Chee ASSIGNMENT
The situation is a fond memory;
More precise a fallacy;
I’m always…
Wasn’t all that aware
Nor, did I care
Family members most
Saw that I was an oddity
Around the teen years
Didn’t partake of alcohol, drugs nor marijuana
I thought not myself handsome
Wasn’t a athlete
Wasn’t a super-nerd, but was nerdy
Back when the biggest job going for the black-man was packing house, custodian, or construction
Minimum wage was $1.65 an hour
Gasoline only 25 cents a gallon
A quiet voice
Quiet touch
A soft-quiet leader of such
Collector of comics (only) Marvel™
Collector of records and albums (mainly) Motown™
Self-proclaim expert on both fronts
Some out-of- town cousin as we were children stole some comics (got them back)
All my female cousin looked to me for the music stats
Didn’t have to be rich and if you were poor or middle income
One could (at least I did) afford the purchasing of the entire Marvel comic runs back in the 1960’s and 70’s
My father though it troubling
But he thought now that I found out later in life, he was alright
Because I wasn’t out there stealing and robbing
All my allowance and most of my teen job monies went to Comics, Records Arts and crafts
But in the day when comics were 12, 15, 25 cents
And 45’s and LP’s were 99 cents and $1.99/$3.99
If collect-ability were a billion dollars then I guess I’m the richest man in Omaha
If the knowledge I glean from all those comics stats were a Jeopardy championship game
Then I’d be the son of Stan Lee (His real name was Stanley Lieber thought)
Self-proclaim expert on both fronts
Marvel Comics™ and Motown Records™
I think if I could live my life again, I’d do the same (all over)
But if I’d were birth in this decade with the cost of things now… Maybe not???
OH!!!! YEAH I WOULD
lol ;)
For you see in creativity one needs to start with

Meeting Hank Williams Sr
I was setting in a store back 20 years ago.
When a car pulled up to the door.
A tall man in a cowboy hat came out and came in.
He sat down and began to tell us a story.
He ate a piece of pie and drank a coke.
Then he asked if he could play a few songs for us.
He sang I saw the light and your cheating heart like no one else could.
Then he got up and walked to the door. Tipped his hat and said tell them old Hank was here.
All you viewed from the door was the dust that rose from the ground.
Then we looked at each other and stated that it wasn't him. For it was Hank Williams and it was 1973.
Old Hank he died in 1953 Was this the ghost making someones day.
I Am James Edward Lee Sr. Did you Know it- I am a Poet
I am a poet
I wonder what words I will use
I hear the sound of the crowd cheering my name
I see a chance to jam
I want to have poetry in publish books
I am a poet
I pretend I am Poet Loiret
I feel proud
I touch the shiny gold medal
I am a poet
I hope my dreams come true
Whether of not you know it…
I am a poet

Says, the old man begs him
each time he visits him at
the nursing home, to put a pillow
over his face while asleep help end
his suffering,
but he watches too many C.S.I spin-offs
on t/v ,
and the old guy’s just not worth the attention..
green and white
he asked
why was it covering the peeling ochre walls
and the moldering door
she said
it was different then
an artist used to live
upstairs
A Verse by by Freddie Robinson Jr and James E Lee Sr
WOMAN--only follow a Man whose
Following CHRIST--
such a beautiful woman
Lord, her spirit does so shine
Light as bright
As your golden eyes
And her pains it brought tears
Hurt of joy to my eyes
For now I’m satisfied
That a woman of God
Truly believes in you
And that she should only follow a man…whose
Following YOU
My God
My Lord
My Savior
WOMAN--only follow a Man whose
Following CHRIST--
The only good in me
Is the good that you are…seen?
I truly believe women with the spirit of Lois and Eunice
Can truly be servants?
God’s daughter worthy of an Godly man
A repentive soul, striving to serve the Lord
A woman should only follow man, a man
In truth, as he tries and does serve the Lord
And that she should only follow a man…whose
Following YOU
My God
My Lord
My Savior
Of the one and true living Lord…
WOMAN--only follow a Man whose
Following CHRIST--
Infused the man great faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
Women follow only magnificent men as they
Follow only a magnificent GOD in Love and Joy always
WOMAN--only follow a Man whose
Following CHRIST--
Follow only magnificent men as they
Follow only a magnificent GOD in Love and Joy always
WOMAN--only follow a Man whose
Following CHRIST--
