Best Speed Of Light Poems

Premium Member Living At the Speed of Light

Maybe I want to cry and maybe I want to sigh, and maybe I'm looking for a fight
Feeling I'm invincible, often non-sensible, living at the speed of light
Too much time is wasted brooding over what might have been
Too many days are spent looking at yesterday's sin
I want to stand at the top of a mountain and scream until I can scream no more
I want to hold hands with an angel and walk along a peaceful shore
Hop a freight train in the middle of nowhere and head on down the track
There's too much waiting up ahead to ever start looking back
Live each day from early dawn until the darkness falls at night
Live each day as if there's no tomorrow, living at the speed of light
There are bridges to cross and mountains to climb, another trail to find
Visit places you've never been, leaving the old world behind
Charter a course that's never been sailed. There's a new island in sight
Ride with the wind, reaching for dreams, living at the speed of light
Go where you've never been, where only the valiant can find you
Ride with your heart, never stopping, never looking behind you
Live for the moment, don't stop, no fear of the approaching night
Take it to the limit, going the distance, living at the speed of light.

Premium Member Progress

up or down a matter of perspective
definitions are always subjective
various things we bother to measure
often become that which we most treasure

mysterious quantum entanglement
not relativity's abandonment
rather dissimilar things may be true
all depends on observer's point-of-view

everything is constantly evolving
while the cosmos continues revolving
now longing to travel faster than light
we pin hopes upon theories not quite right

progress comes through that which we dream may be
and the will to make dreams reality

From the wet sodden ground
two leaves in her palm
are rescued as if she's found jewels.
Reflecting the light, they are covered with pearls
of glistening dew from the dawn

She fondles them gently. A smile on her face
Examining slowly, she will turn them around,
like pieces of gold she has found
A moment like this, has suspending all time
            A moment that's clearly sublime

The soft light of morning halos her hair,
to circle her curls, while framing her face
Crowning the moment with Chantilly lace
and swelling my heart with a small trace of pain

My soul is imploding with love for this child...
Yet, shadowing slowly is a knowing, somehow,
that all things so fragile will last just awhile
I know somewhere out there,
      a star's gone awry,
A stray shooting star has traveled in line...
to fracture the shell of this instant in time
So quickly it comes, from the selvage of night
Faster it comes, than the tempo of light
                   to shatter such moments divine

Speed of Light

"Aliens are evil!" the man quipped.
Angels being part of the Light,
the man and the professor concluded
they travel at a speed of light.
"Angels are filled with love"....the man said.
The professor thought for a while, chuckled,
and asked the man,
"Do you want to be part of the Light?"
which the man shouted a re-sounding "Yes!"
The professor said, "Then stop hating aliens,
and love them....it is by love you become
part of the Light".

The Speed of Light

Fast as our feet moves
Fast as a bike
Driving on threaded roads
Faster in a car
As swift as the mind thinks
The road is not far
Traveling many miles
Or the beat of our hearts
Racy as a Jaguar
Then playing our parts
Using our own brains
We must get that afar
Strumming on the old strings
Playing a guitar
And running past the Fast train
yet don't get too far
Just moving
At the speed of light

Speed of Light

My heart is led
First kissing me
Laying me down on your bed
Slowly and so tenderly touching me
Touching me where is hidden from the world except you
Only you know what to play with and when
Squeezing, licking , and sucking my breast
Oh i say as you enter my world
Hugging you tightly
Thrusting over and over again
In out in out
Temperature rises
Harder faster
Until a sweet climax
Freezes ue in place
A loves embrace

Speed of Light

Not once have I not wonder
What life would be like with you.

What the reason for the smile on your face,
Who is the cause of the love in your eyes,
What made you laugh till you cried,
An the faces you make while your a sound asleep...

I wonder a lot;
But believe me I know my limits,
I keep them turned off
Even when I look into your beautiful eyes;
Even when memories flood back to me....

I turn it off faster than the speed of light.

Faster Than the Speed of Light

Being,
     At the speed of light,
Sinking,
     In a blur of sight,
Weeping,
     For reasons to fight,
Feeling,
     Like darkness of night,
Willing,
     To be more somehow,
Thinking,
     For a better now,
Reaching,
     Far from what's allowed,
Keeping,
     All that we have vowed,
Missing,
     Much that surrounds,
Dealing,
     With the noises and sound,
Kneeling,
      Praying to be found,
Fleeing,
      Running to the ground,
Dreaming,
     Something radical and bold,
Seeking,
     For stories that were told,
Wishing,
     Faster than light, behold,
Believing,
     The entanglement of Souls.

Speed of Light

If I had the speed of light,
Life would seem too easy
Life would be long
Enough to feel immortal

With the speed of light
Success would be easy..
If you count theft without being caught.
Without a worry
I would have luxury

With the speed of light
I would travel the world.
I would be living the life I wish I had
The most beautiful places in the world
Would be discovered by a single being

If I had the speed of light,
I would be faster than a bullet
From a gun of a murderer’s hand..
What would happen if I were shot?
Would death come for me..
At the speed of light?

Shutter Speed

As I travel at warp speed
Through time, it seemed
Motionless and surreal
As my molecules
Tries to catch-up
With my body
Giving away my
Sense of smell
Touch and sight
Until I explode

if opposites attract then would opposite not attract the same
Als well has dried up but it it lasted a while
unfortunately he fell in it and died didn't end well
not in love but my head is still over my heels
when life gives you lemons squirt them in its eye who wants lemons
always get out of my bed at the bottom
so i can punch anybody that says i got out the wrong side
see if you count in half seconds is that a waste of time
if all the worlds a stage
wheres the exit
i don't seem myself
then why the are you telling me

The Look Is Fast As The Speed of Light

I got the look!

Instantaneous…eyes snap sidewise faster than the speed of light…

Freeze tag pinned in place…

Duh da da duh… I'm in trouble, blown something…

No question… no room for doubt… Yet not really…

Dad's unique cue… falling in between traditional parenting cracks… Straddling between discipline and time to nip this one in the bud…

That I can't believe _____ (fill in the blank) … I'm annoyed… to… well.. fits almost any category

A genetic predisposition… or inheritance?

Who cares? I got it! It's mine!

The girls got the look…

Doug. He's more than a worthy mention. Countless outcries… Don't give me the look!

Too late, once you said “don't” ….it's fait accompli!

Speed of Light

Babe you
Are something
A robot can't describe.

Let us
Take us this love
Beyond the bounderies of
Where human love can go,
Beyond the boundaries.

When I am with you
I feel like I have been to
Another distant planet and back
All in the space of one minute;
Your love is like
The speed of light.

I will hold you and you will know
Just how much I love you
As our hearts grow brighter
With every shooting star,
We are making wishes come true
Winking in the skies of midnight blue
In our own galaxy, love moves instantly
At the speed of light because,
We know this was meant to be right

Speed of Light

M-ove at the speed light,
H-ours are just flying fast;
E-ach and every second counts,
Y-ou must not think of the past.

D-rive at the speed of light,
A-s you must still be cautious;
C-arry the truth January eighteenth,
A-nd cast the lies so vicious.
N-ow that the end is near,
A-void running slow or slight;
Y-ou must overtake the clock like a speed of light.
