Saffron sunbeams color chiffon
ribbons entangled in the clouds.
And purple lilacs scent the air;
wafting delicious aromas.

As orange tints the rim of Earth;
cinnamon skies showcase shy stars.
And when Twilight shifts into Dusk,
darkness descends, devouring day.

Cotton candy pink shields the sun
behind a bright magenta glow.
And a rising Moon's golden hue;
gilds alabaster clouds below.

Night dons a cloak of tattered black
that summons the screech of an owl.
And, soon, reality slumbers;
dreaming in muted shades of blue.

Far horizons of ebony,
ink shrubs, and trees in silhouette.
And Venus summons tomorrow;
anticipating today's death.

Corona Or God Who Is Great

CORONA OR GOD WHO IS GREAT

Oh! Are there you dear God, hiding in the skies
Where are you now and where were you then?
Really do you want kill people, but all say you are loving one,
I slowly dragging away from you an empty belief from the ore
Why should I think about you when you making me to die,
Can any animal say that you are a great fellow, but
These foolish human beings are always adore you !
Jesus did not came to Vatican to thwart corona enemy
Did the Masha God visited Iran and Mecca to save His children
Why the Hindu Gods did not visited India to kill the virus !
If not Gods , Oh Godsses , hearing my slumbers ?
Do you know the pain and do you know the agony
I can see my death in front of my eyes, not you why
All along my 80 years..tell me how many times I thought you
What made you to not appear in front me , to save me now ?
How much hours I spent for you on Sundays
Why can’t you reach me just a moment to save me now ?
Are you there in China, and can you not visit the west !
Sofar I believed you as Omnipotent, But you cannot visit me for a moment !
Are you Omniscient ? What happen to your omniscience at now !
If you the owner of this cosmos then who is the corona fellow ?
Tell me why not I make corona as my pal, helping me to leave !
Now only I upper stood that you are never there or here
Inside or outside or the north south but east or west
You can’t be any where, when you are not caring for me!
I will not tell that you are in the heaven, when I am in hell!
Am superior than you because I cry on the pain of even animals
Certainly superior, that I always love the human and even plants
Am superior than you because ready to shed my owning momentarily
But You will never leave the temples, mosques and churches for that matter!
Tell me why should I pray you when you are not cared to save me from killer,
Tell me why should I love you, when you hate me at this leaving moment!
Tell me why should I spend for you when you are not listening to my slumbers ….
Tell me why should I think about you, when you are forgetting me at this bad moment?
Oh my dear fellow friends of this earth, forget the God but help all and every one!

Premium Member Beauty Slumbers Among Cold Grey Stone Walls

Cold grey dark stone walls
Gothic arched windows
candle lit stately halls
Spiral worn staircase
and along the whispering corridors
To the bedroom
where a beautiful angelic girl
is lost in slumber
her porcelain like face
bathed by the ambient light
of an illuminating moon
and bejewelled velvet sky
She gently rests in a blue satin dress
clutching a red rose
to her tender breasts.

Her full plump lips
and long auburn medieval
corkscrewed hair
A picture of alluring femininity
and untainted ravishing beauty
beyond compare.

The virgin lost in wistful enchanting dreams
where fireflies dance under the stars
and unicorns drink from silver ribboned streams.

The cold walls around her
continue to hold their secrets
as the burning glowing flickering embers
at the fire place cast shadows
on those stark walls
until the night goes to rest
and she rises like the summer warming sun
to the sound of joyous bird song
As another day as fresh as a first kiss
has begun.

Never Slumbers Nor Sleeps

God never slumbers nor sleeps...where devils and demons crawl, call, and creep
His angels above destroy bad beasts from below
blood stained rags He makes white as snow
every second i'm safe and every minute at ease
every day of the week...God never slumbers nor sleeps

He won't let you stumble into snares, traps and webs
stroll strong with the living and stray from the dead
the sun will not scorch you nor the moon drive you mad
He brings peace, love and joy to the sickened and sad
He gives strength to the weak...God never slumbers nor sleeps

walking in wastelands or streets made of gold
safe now and forever as we come and we go
once bullied and beaten now brave, bad and bold
His story unfolds as He watches and waits
as we search and we seek...God never slumbers or sleeps

My Heart She Slumbers

As I sit relaxing this A.M,
I'm pondering gently where my heart's been.
I feel a surging within my soul,
As cold.silver turns to warmthened gold.
My heart she is sleeping,
And in her rest she rhythmically breathes.
I close my eyes and continue to See,
The answer to my wishes is lying next to me.
With each moment her skin beckons,
Urging me closer, my silent fire begins.
This ember we so nurturing fostered,
Has grown in proportion so great.
And in her sleep my heart she slumbers,
My hand rests against her warm skin...I wait.
Not wanting to disturb her peaceful mind,
Her breathing becomes my lullaby.
Forever the fingers of our sleeping hands intertwined.

Humanity Slumbers

I live for blue foggy days
Where the birds sleep in numbers
When the world's in a haze
And humanity slumbers

Premium Member Poesie Slumbers

poesie slumbers
quietly breathing
swathed in white noise
deep in reverie

poesie trances
in an English garden
picture windows
take after an Anglian sky

poesie rolls over
on freshly cut grass
hedged in by Japanese Quince
the color of wild things waking

poesie sighs deeply
someone's pestering
a spiny shrub grows taller
a pond furthermore darkens

poesie tosses and turns
throws back the covers
lavender makes its entrance
into a parasoled cottage

poesie shivers
someone's cuddling
icy rain babbles against the leadlights
like a lot of raucous stones

poesie comforts
between loud mirth
and crushing sadness
fluffy visions inquire

poesie is awoken
drowsily recalling
a dream of a nightmare
a downy rousing to alertness

poesie rubs her eyes
yawns an aspiration
and utters a fact
the dream's gone too fast.

Premium Member Where My Angel Slumbers

In the ruins of a castle,

Lives a dark and dusty love,

A single white feather,

Has fallen from above.

The dawn it lights his footsteps,

Stardust across the floor,

The single white feather,

It lies there no more.

The dawn has surrendered,

And dusk has won the fight,

His angel she now slumbers,

In his arms tonight.

Jazz piano scale skip quick notes implore me
Siphon symphony verve blurred by saxophone sass
Floated lilly pad leap frog spring legged surety
Splats on brass buttoned soldiers dedicated amass

Bulbous glass swirl burgundy grape stem bitter
Absorbs oak barrel sentiment, forested persuasion
Ace praise expires, a swiftly swallowed splinter
Comical dive antics of cork fragmenting abrasion

Dissolving Elizabeth, shabbily written character
Simmered limply submissive, a nouveau improvisation
Vat of pursuit poured by Stu picks a passenger
Chords hover mahogany piano cascade syncopation

Composition three minute summit misconstrue
Violins textured crescendo vibrates bow tight strings
Apron strewn, Libby leaves her rolling pin askew
Butter heart hails harmony a true companion brings

Premium Member Nature Slumbers

How swiftly the seasons change
Years like rivers flow unencumbered
Towards eternity’s vast and opened arms
And engulfed are these compelling streams
Forever to recline in the annals of time

Autumn’s leaves of burnt orange and red
Now lay beneath purest first snow
And merge with the color of earth
As silence hovers amidst brisk air
Nature, worn and weary, slumbers
