Best Serene Poems
Green is serene.
This color of nature
resurrects in early spring
to paint our landscape again,
from drab brown to soft fern haze.
Slowly, spring deepens into a sublime
mixture of emerald, and Shamrock hues.
Mid-summer, our lovely trees, and shrubs
are bathed in luxurious velvet forest green.
Later, summer paints with a deeper Viridian.
Our forests, mountains, valleys, hills, lawns,
trees, and plants...all saturated in greens.
Tranquil, flowing greens, soothe the soul,
as silky grasses, like waves of the sea,
ripple gently in the summer breeze.
Lush tree tops kiss the blue sky.
Green embraces every lake.
Green paints our lovely
landscape of nature.
Green is serene...

A woodland finds calmness through her presence,
gently brushing the red garlands
with flights of hundred moths.

The waves of the sea and the screeching of the seagulls
Mix together like coffee and cream
I feel like I’m livin’ a dream
I walk barefoot on the warm, warm sand
I don’t really understand
Why you lay a hand on me…
Is it because I’m as mournful as the sea
Or is it because I’m the waves that swivel and dive down in ecstasy?
I don’t quite understand
The reason I feel the city’s pressure and hardness
They are cemented in the abyss
Serene Shores…
Sails in silhouetted slumber
Serene Shores…
Falls into flamboyant floors
Serene Shores
Guides me gently, giving me grand advice –
“DREAM ON, DEAR CHILD!”
The sound of honking is heard unexpectedly… the sound emitting out of the car
It was so uncalled for! It was going way too far!
I feel like drifting away in a deep sleep, carelessly hitting the seafloor…but I’m wide awake instead
I would like to lie lifelessly and tranquilly…I ascend from the water’s surface in disappointment – where’s my head?
I can’t completely comprehend
Why I am more in tune with nature – it could mend
A shattered soul…
A torn, forlorn heart…
Like my own
Serene Shores…
Sails in silhouetted slumber
Serene Shores…
Flaps its fantastic wings, favoring the light of freedom!
Sadistic Shores
Pushes me forwardly persistently, poking at me pessimistically–
“WAKE UP TO REALITY, YOU MORON!”
I ponder about the future and its many mysteries
There are clues in the surface of the ocean
I’m too busy trying to pick them up as I go…I wonder about the meaning of the past memories
I squander my time, getting caught up in bittersweet emotion
From, my age's snow-covered mountaintop,
I discern into the horizon of my life
the serene valley of welcoming death
where ends all of humanity's strife!

In the still of night's abyss,
Where shadows dance in sweet bliss,
I yearned to remove my very own eyes,
So she could see through the world's deceitful guise.
I longed to share with her my unique view,
Of her divine beauty and regal virtue,
To reveal the truth the world tried to disguise,
And restore her radiance deep inside.
As I pondered my sacrificial act,
To give her the truth that the world has lacked,
I wondered if it would be worth the price,
To see her own beauty through someone else's eyes.
Would it be enough to give her the key,
To unlock the chains that bind her free,
Or would she need me to guide her way,
To navigate through the darkness day by day.
For what use is sight without clarity,
To see but not comprehend the rarity,
Of the beauty that lies beneath the skin,
A priceless treasure, a love to win.
Soft, subtle and sublime
Fragrance of mellowed bloom
Whisper of fallen leaves
Warmth of the subdued sun
Innocence all-around
Enthralling silence
Filling the heart
Not wild, not loud
Just cozy and quit
Nature’s symphony
With idyllic notes
Mild, magical and serene
Song of golden leaves
Enhancing the melody
Nature’s equipoise
Ardor and ambience
Restrain and moderation
Introversion and quietude
A candid self-reflection
Of dignity inspiring me
To merge with myself
Lying there, serenely, after a warm jasmined bath,
The thought hit me, what if I never again do awake?
Just wide eyed in heaven’s home to joyfully partake!
I awoke to live in eternal love with good and not wrath.
Now existingin a realm with God, not one of mortal men.
To constantly whisper, I am finally here, with joy and Amen!
I set my now young feet on clouds, God’s floor mats!
The joy of having an everlasting young and new body!
In exchange for thie old one that was worn and shoddy.
To be living in His world, a dream come true, so glorious!
Experiencing my breathless, inexpressable ultimate joy,
Of coming to serve my blessed Creator, now I am victorious!
Heaven was never meant to be a continuation of life on earth.
With awe and joy, I was given keys to my own heavenly home.
My only job, to serve Him and with joy, to never roam!

Saw one blazing red leaf on the shimmering Maple,
On my way back from a refreshing stroll,
One Red Leaf - indicated the stark truth,
Fall is tiptoeing with her secret footsteps,
Luminously veiled autumn not far!
Spotted a flock of migrating Geese gliding by -
Are they already departing? Where?
Ravishing crimson Roses beaming
On the bush besides the wooden fence,
A few sad dried petals sprawl dejected at the bottom,
Redbreast Robin in euphoria, still crooning full-throated,
Fleecy warmth of air fleeting away, are birds aware?
Truly intoxicated with the aroma of sunshine,
Even for a moment, do not stop trilling at each other!
Iridescent layered floating clouds, a watercolour painting -
Each one speaks celestial bliss to me,
Mauve and scarlet, amber and crimson - intriguing shapes
All mixed in a gorgeous whirlpool,
Inspire ecstatic rhapsodies in my spirit,
Topaz waves when they break on the wide sandy shore
With thunderous roars.
White-petalled Lily, the final quiet visitor to the garden!
Tranquil and serene, peaceful and mellow,
As if in a pensive meditation,
Exhilarating celebration over for now,
Crispy, chilly, wind waltz with twirling leaves,
I smell scintillating autumn fluttering and frolicking,
Spiralling, swirling in the golden sunset breeze.

Fairies and Angels charm the environment still and calm,
Flowers and scenes of the season enhance the abode charm;
Weather wakes vivacious cold-hot, chill-warm, wet-dry feeling,
And shapes the Christmas season into thousand bells pealing...
Snow in cold regions, like spiders, weaves thick white blanket-webs,
Sun, forbidden, tries to peep like snail, from shell of snow-ebbs;
Fog in grey-white gown like tribal bride dreamily marching,
Clouds, randomly rolling, like melting snow-balls, soul-searching...
Fragrance of innocently smiling snow-burdened flowers,
Tender chill drizzling of heavenly divine-grace showers;
Bluish-grey, gray-white, reddish-orange disco-light stray-rays,
As though falling from Milky-way, to show humans new ways...
Though seasons seem docile as dead resting in deep dark graves,
Spring follows winter; summer the spring, breaking all closed caves...

beneath serene and reflective night skies
gentle feelings silence each tear, each fear,
breathing in smoldering dreams who arise
rustles of stillness, spark a soft prayer.
glowing faintly beneath the moonlit night,
flames enchanting, silencing the sad sighs,
warm odors tempt the eager appetite
along the camp’s edge, before the fire dies.
stars like glitter stand in the softest clouds,
caressing heaven with easy refrains,
love getting away from the noise, the crowds,
where relaxation is all that remains.
scents of the back woods fill the heart and soul
with a tenderness that’ll make the life whole
Spring birds croon a new tune
Cling not to Winter reveries
Sing of blooms, colour zooms
Bring back the golden memories
Green the view that greets you
Seen around butterflies and bees
Sheen of light rain delights
Serene is the feel of Spring breeze

full moon and bamboo
in dark green serene garden
tranquil poet mood
She rode home on a packed train
at the peak of rush hour
She longed for those still, silent moments
Where she could unwind
From the hustle and bustle of the day
She found solace in celestial fireflies
And the night's dark embrace
A quiet retreat from the stress of the day
The night sky offered the calm she desired
An escape into tranquil dreams
and the peaceful caress of moonbeams
Cherishing slumber's serene schemes
In the twinkle of starry gleams

The sun arched up
Breaking over the horizon
As he leisurely awoke
How unusual it was
Her laying by his side
Serene and peaceful
Beautiful as she was
He reached over and
Kissed the corner of her lips
The way he’d done
A million times before
This one time would be
So differently surreal
His soul understanding
Instantly unfettered
His mind impervious
Seized in a chokehold
She had died calmly in her sleep
Recalled by her Maker
Harmony coming over him
As he wrapped his arms
Around his sweetheart
Her lifeless body
His lips still locked in place
Refusing to let go
The tears not coming
A visceral farewell
Just like that
In a flash
She had gone
The shell of her body left behind
A chrysalid
She, the butterfly
