A Broken Heart I Met

I once met a broken heart ,
It said it longed for love.
And it'd been yearning so long !
It said there's no God above.
.
For if there was, a God there,
 It wouldn't have to suffer.
And live a life that had ,
Made its survival tougher.
.
So , I asked it to look within ,
If some bit of the love had lasted,
And it came out grieving ,
That out of the blues ,
it had in fact found a casket !
.
And there within the casket lay ,
All the love it longed , it sighed.
Sadly though through pure negligence,
Now all that love had died .
  .
For, since years the heart had been to lands , water and cliffs ,
In hopes of finding some love that belonged it bit by bit.
It had cried and craved for love that was so far,
Never had it cared enough to look into his own jar.
You love yourself ,
God loves you back,
The poor heart didn't know!
And that is the purest love to find ,
May wherever you go.

The beauty of you

Ups and downs in life
This beautiful journey
If life was just good days
It’d be flat just like the Prairies

But its not
And neither are you
As much as we are the same
We are different too

Our beauty lies within
Sometimes it is in a dark place
Sometimes it is hidden
This beauty of yours
Is not just your reflection

This beauty is in your mind and heart
True beauty is inside you
Locked away like precious art

Please see the signs
Please find the clues
The true beauty of today
The true beauty of you

Is who you are deep down
And all that you have been through

Attitude can be nurtured and changed
By you in spite of what has happened in your day
Confident people master it quickly
Despite what they are enduring
Enthusiasm is a side benefit that
Fosters team work positivity and friendship
Give yourself a break if you
Have had a bad day. We all have them.
Inspiring videos, loving people and supportive friends
Jokes, funny TV shows, and hobbies might help.
Kindness to friends is wonderful, but
Loving them is not as important as loving yourself.
Many do not give themselves this important gift.
Naturally you want the best for others and your family
Outrageous as this might sound, you must
Positively become your OWN best friend first.
Quiet yourself and give yourself this all-important gift.
Rusty as you might be, find your strengths.
See yourself in the best light. Encourage yourself.
Treat yourself with the same empathy you
Utilize with others, a good friend, or a cherished neighbor
Vigorously appreciate your talents and gifts.
Wisest of the wise recognize the
‘Xceptional logic of doing this and often.
You will immediately reap the awards.
Zesty excited attitudes encourage others, please encourage you!

Crybaby

To the fourth grade quiet kid crying on the playground:
                                                         keep crying.
Let the burning blur in your pupils reverberate your vision
envision maculas becoming galaxies of simultaneous starbursts
normalizing irises marbleized in emotional flow

       Drift
in whatever you are feeling at this very moment
                                    Drown
out cacophonies of every synonym for “crybaby”
your classmates can regurgitate

Hold on to your emotion regardless of how hard it’s pulled from your grip
The greatest thing you can be is emotional
because breakdown doesn’t equate broken down
doesn’t equal malfunction error glitch in your system

The greatest thing you can be is broken
metal bends beyond repair; skin is resilient
cut wrists will heal; cut wires won’t regenerate
biology is not biomechanical.

It took until nearly twenty-three for me
to learn having heavy emotions
is just in my biology
and I will never let shame be programmed into me

for being that fourth grade quiet kid
crying on the playground
that crybaby
tracking muds from trailing tears in the dirt

I learned
the greatest thing you can be is yourself
when nobody is watching: yourself
as staring gazes and whispers fill space

asking why you’re sobbing so much
It’s because you’re human.

The greatest thing you can be
is human.

It's something inconclusive
This feeling that I'm not
A perfect human specimen
Lukewarm compared to hot

I scrutinise the mirror
That I carry in my phone
It tells me of belonging
Yet I feel so far from home

I probably need rebuilding
Like a human Lego set
A different type of perfect
Is the answer I detect

A voice within me cries out
Don't change a single part
I love you as imperfect
'Cos you're perfect for my heart

Let's work on your perspective
Stand right here just next to me
Now tell yourself through my eyes
Not more perfect could you be

Self Love

They say you cannot love someone if you do not love yourself
But loving yourself has nothing to do with feeling for someone else
I know because I spent many years severely hating myself
But I often felt deep love for friends I considered to be top shelf
They inspired love in my heart, which for myself was not ever true
I always wondered why when they would earnestly say "I love you"
In my mind I did not deserve love but with them that was not true
To love myself was something for me that always was taboo
You cannot force love on someone, this has always been true
But what do you do when the person you can't love seems to always be you

A poem about my past. I no longer feel this way.

Gone is the scared, insecure girl inside
Judging herself harshly. She's now free
Of self-loathing. Look at her now; all woman...

           Wearing a brand new attitude!
    Broken pieces of herself glued together;
Virtues and vices, she accepts fully.

i just like it when u hold my hand
and you wont let go
seem like YOUR AFAIR I WILL LEAVE you
AND I WILL WALK OUT THIS DOOR

TRUST ME BABY
I JUST CAN'T WALK AWAY

i like everything you say
and everything you do

life is short
so lets make it go by slow
lets do everything we can
just dont let go

if your sad and can't sleep and just setting there in ur bed
i'll stay up all night untill you get your rest

im here for long run baby
and i am going to stay and keep my love true

and talk all night on the phone
stay up for hours just to talk to you

i keep you in my dreams
i no im in yours
your my angel
ur the one every one wish for and i adore

i put my hand on my cross and pray to him
thank you lord for this present you sent!

Be Glad

BE GLAD!!

There is a day you'll be mad
Theres a day you'll be sad
But all that ever matters is how you turn them to be glad..

I assure you shall have a fiesta in your heart
The moment you find a way to keep that sorrow from you apart.

No matter how
No matter when
It is you and you alone who can give urself that uplifted bubbly feel of ten.

Get into you that charm
That would surely cause you no harm
The grace that would cause every trouble to blaze
For its you and only you
With whom you have to set those feelings right in place.

Do it right
And shine bright
For you no not
Who is trusting you to be their light.

Self Love

Concentrate on being enough for yourself, connect with you as your own person, and learn to develop yourself, become the most beautiful version of you, one that you are comfortable with, do not worry what others are believing, do whatever it takes to make yourself happy. Go out, and be happy, go and spread your relentless love, each and every time mean a little more, say a bit more than the last time, attempt to reach out to have a positive impact on many hearts, and minds.

Premium Member Heal, Little Heart

Heal, Little Heart
Forget yesterday's pain
Believe in today's dream
In tomorrow's promise

Heal, Little Heart
You are not a fool to love
You are not too demanding to want
You are not too selfish to crave

Be brave, Little Heart
Don't go to the grave feeling unloved
Believe in the resurrection
of faith, of hope, and yes, of love

Hold on, Little Heart
to your self worth
You are of value,
of immeasurable worth

So, love yourself, Little Heart
You are too precious for scars
Too fragile for rough handling
Too loving to be scorned
You need to be adored

Hold on, Little Heart
I will rescue
I will protect
I will nurture
I will love

For you're the only Little Heart I have,
and if to no one else...
you are dear to me,
for you are mine to cherish.

Heal, Little Heart
Please, heal

it's good to be me
i've been set free

i like waking up in my own skin
i can't wait to wake up again and again

i pamper myself with kind words
my future burns bright as i look forward

towards the light contrasting
of my salvation everlasting

my life was meant to be
there's goodness inside of me

Better Days

''Better Days"

Better days indeed!
Its been long since a smile appeared
upon my grumpy face.
The rain refused to fall,
It was now a dry heart like erosion to soil
of sadness and no hope...

We laughed with misery within
no sense of belonging, no sense of reality
a paranormal kaleidoscope.
imagination in order to get by starvation
growling stomach.

There was no place for tears, we endured and
conquered, we died not! ,we stood tall!
For we knew better days were ahead,
Better days indeed!

Pour your self-love
In your heart
And decorate it
With the flowers of hope
Then you will see
It will be charmingly
Kicking and ticking
