The Tempest

Upon enchanted sands of shipbreached shores
Dethroned beggar of a borrowed callow mystery
Heaves a lightning staff into the waves -
Thunderous and raw clandestine secrecy
On luminous swirling ariels sheering the celestial –
Into the curfew of castaway souls as a hoary appeal
Where storm surges loot delirium in foreboding typhoons
As rioting angels brood in their search
For the orphaned heart in tattered rags of upheaval.

Hear the muted tempest of dark depths roar
As wintered tantrums rock the shores
Leasing waves with unseen spells and charms,
Harnessing the tidal astrals in purifying
Tsunamis of holy risk –
Storm watch night, for souls in cataclysmic squalls,
Reshape the shallow shoals infected by deceit
Refresh the tidal pools emptied by betrayal
Now calm the ruffled gales -the shattered glassy sea,
Return from shipwrecked isle to fury abandoned shores.

Khadim Rizvi preaches gore
To his followers rioting in Lahore
He, wears lipstick and ladies dresses
His followers had lobotomies on dirty floors

They wish to murder a young girl of faith
for perceived insults to their petite virility
oh how merciful are these gang of monkeys
oh how merciful are these hateful devils

Rizvi is seen wearing red woman's shoes
Proof the prophet sends blood to his toes
His heart now a ticking time bomb
With justice, his beheading, then he be gone

Merciful these fanatics surely are not
Asia Bibi, your Muslim sisters shaking their heads
their burkas fall off, in disgust and in dread
Any woman of God, knows right and fears hate

Khadim is dim, Allah forgive his hate
but take his head, and his followers too
Open the bloody gate
Devils all, suffer your own fate

Premium Member Gandhi Mahatma

His deepest belief was in truth,
His greatest faith was in God,
He was selfless in his pursuit,
Millions followed where he trod!

He wore no crown, robes or tie,
He was no king, had no kingdom,
Thin and small at five foot five,
He won his people their freedom!

He lived life about the same time,
Adolf Hitler unleashed his anger,
millions perished to Nazi crime,
But Gandhi put no one in danger.

race discrimination he boldly fought,
in South Africa as a young lawyer,
No guns or swords he ever sought,
But he lead by fasting and prayer!

He was by birth a religious Hindu,
But respected all the world beliefs,
All religions were one in his view,
They were same in their motives.

Love, peace, path of nonviolence,
were all his weapons of resistance,
Absorbing anger, showing patience,
he lead India to its independence.

Great minds, common people like us,
Called him Mahatma, a great Soul,
He was likened to Jesus and Moses,
As they revered and pursued his goal.

He fasted to unite the rioting people,
Who killed because of religious strife,
They prayed in mosques and temple,
And thay all prayed only for his life!

On a prayer morning in late January,
Two hate bullets tore his loving heart,
His life put out by ignorance and fury,
he was killed by a world torn apart!

Even several decades after his death,
His message of love shines through,
Like many prophets before his birth,
His life’s mission, to save me and you!

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

The Tears of 2020

Fierce winds are blowing

In this dance of the raging sea

A thundering voice is calling

Disaster and misery

Great storms are warning

Flooding and catastrophe

Fears of a world epidemic

Now rioting in her streets

It’s time for reformation

A change for humanity

Only the strong will survive

The tears of 2020

Put on your raincoats

Pray your boat floats

Waves crashing mercilessly

Homes are drowning

Earthquakes coming

Daily dread of calamities

Fierce winds are blowing

Set firm your anchor

In the tears of 2020

Freedom isn't Free
It comes with the price of Responsibility.

American citizens are born with the inalienable right
                         To peaceably assemble, to petition
Their grievances, their aversions, their plights.

                                    Freedom isn't Free
It comes with the price of Responsibility.

                     Marching and rioting; with causes so deep;
Hubris and anger taking the charge, engaging
In destruction, threatening the welfare of the public at large.

                                   Freedom isn't Free
It comes with the price of Responsibility.

                     Women's rights, undocumented immigrants,
                 The racial divide and global affairs their major concerns;
Heightened by the outcome of this unprecedented election,
Propelling feckless tactics and undue aggression.

                                   Freedom isn't Free
It comes with the price of Responsibility.

Celebrities jumping on board; rallying with acrid voices, repudiating calm
                          resolution for revolt and revolution.
What have they accomplished, what have they done; tarnished the
credibility of voices that should peacefully be sung.

                                  Freedom isn't Free
It comes with the price of Responsibility.

Did Their Lives Matter, Part Ii

...And of course who can forget all the
black-on-black we see every day?
More people are killed by such violence
then cops could ever dare take away.
Take all the dead from the rioting
and, depressingly, you will all find
it matches a weekend’s murder count
in Chicago..let that sit in your mind.
Are all their deaths somehow less tragic
because their killers weren’t pale of flesh?
I keep waiting for folks to address this,
but at this point I won’t hold my breath.
Speak of this and all the people bray
that your evil and ‘victim-blaming,’
then they proclaim that ‘Black Lives Matter,’
but ignore their culture isn’t working.

The worst of it, we should acknowledge,
is the two hundred fifty black lives
that are taken from us every day
by the cuts of abortionist knives.
To think of all those young lives cut short
is horrific and so frightening,
think of a medium-sized company
every day up and disappearing.
But if this fact is ever brought up,
these same protestors act all appalled,
they think this means that you ‘hate women,’
that those children have no rights at all!
The fact that half of those kids are girls
never seems to enter into their heads.
They like to say ‘Black Lives Matter,’
but then make their very children dead.

Now the great unifying factor
that binds up all the hypocrisy
is that they only seem to promote
dark-skinned people if they are lefties.
They do not talk of excessive force
when pale people are shot down by cops,
but if it happens in blue cities
then they demand the whole country stop!
They care not for a dark-skinned person
who built up a good life through hard work,
nor the future children of these towns,
nor good people tired on the jerks.
In fact the left resents these people,
since you can’t control virtuous folk,
the only Black Lives that matter to them
are the ones who bring Democrats votes.

Premium Member Stop the Violent Protests

Stop! The violent protests and leave peaceful protesters out to make a difference strictly along. Whether you are in law enforcement or the national guard. You need to pray for peaceful solutions! But if all you want to do is assault police officers. Or if protesters burn down business and destroy personal and real property. If you want to incite rioting and violence! You need to be apprehended! I am sick and tired of racist police officers using African American males, Hispanic, and Native American males as "target practice" or unlawful harassment! Black Lives Matter! Today the city of Houston is holding memorial ceremonies for George Floyd. They firmly believe the time has come for closure and for our nation to move forward.

I am sorry about what happened to George Boyd and other minority groups! But letting your explosive anger erupted like a volcano! That Minnesota police officer committed nineteen years of similar acts of racism and violence. He just happened to get caught in the act! He never should have been admitted to the police academy in the first place! The other officers just stood there and watched! It was a national tragedy! In London England, Black Lives Matter are conducting peaceful protests in solidarity with the United States!

Some groups will use any excuse to riot! Some police officers will use any excuse to commit acts of violence! I firmly believe in peaceful protests! Unfortunately, they often end up in tragedy! One bad reaction by one or more groups leads to retaliation by the opposition! Resulting only escalating violence! The president wants to call out the United States military. And it will happen unless senseless acts of violence come to an abrupt ending! The Beatles once sang, "come together right now over me." "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me."

Stop! The senseless acts of violence! Private citizens even in communities such as Snohomish Washington! Are arming themselves, and standing outside of the business to protect them. They are citizens vigilantes. They want to stop looters and vandals in their tracks! In the days of the old west, there used to lynch mobs! We do not want the bad old days back again!

Destruction and obstruction.
    Cities burn, run by herds!

     Anarchy, you see,
     Is no mirror of democracy!

     Businesses destroyed.
Free running shoes, girls and boys?

     Patriots simply do not steal.
They love this land, with utmose zeal!

     Have faith, have enormous hope.
     Mature Americans are not dopes!

say yes to drugs
tax to death successful people
California is a jester's joke
porous borders
corrupt puppets and very broke
white apologists
pandering votes
magnifying our differences
waging war on the police
murdering babies(in the first degree)
glorify gangsters
10 pages of felonies
another slap on the wrist
flying leer jets
while ranting about going green
cry phobia and racism
if somebody has a different opinion
scream at the sky
anarchists of Berkeley
rioting against free speech
sell uranium to the commies

at the expense of our citizens

why would you want to impeach success?

Until I Realized

I turned on the news and saw
people rioting in the streets,
burning the American flag,
destroying private property,
smashing windshields,
attacking innocent people,
screaming and ranting,
displaying so much hate
towards those who don’t share
the same thoughts and
ideas they do
and I was disgusted,
wondering why the news
had to always show things
that were happening
in the Middle East
until I realized

it was California

what the hell is wrong with people?

Premium Member Teeth Take To the Streets

My teeth walked down the stairs today
Molar stepped on aluminum and I yelled “hey!”

They were rioting to protest the new floss.
I rolled my eyes; after all, I am the boss!

My mouth tried to speak but nothing came out
Not whisper, a gurgle, a cough or a shout.

My teeth snickered; a sassy incisor cheered.
They were gaining momentum as I had feared!

My tongue gave me a wagging; I heard not a word.
Those damn teeth had made my face feel absurd.

My teeth began dancing, in the night, in the street.
To a crazy, happy, sensual reggae beat.

How to get them back? What would I have to do?
I promised them the moon, and new floss too….

Premium Member Halloween Hijinks

It's almost Halloween, and parents
afraid to let children go out?
First it was drugs in candies, then razors,
then predators, it makes me want to shout!

You know what the boogeyman it is this year!
Why COVID, of course, how we love living in fear!

Even though the numbers have been clarified we
love the inaccurate ones, of course.
Fake News keeps posting inaccurate numbers, so
how much of living fully have we all lost?

Plenty, I say! Lost wages, lost time with friends
and family.
Blue "Pampers" on our faces?
Such a ridiculous, inhumane display.

Of course time to cash in, masks in polka dots,
leopard or lush pink.
No wonder people are not only on drugs, but
also, the heavier they drink.

What does a mouth or smile look like anyway?
Muffled words, no full out laughter, gives me
vertigo and brain-sway.

Churches locked tight, but a city, fine to burn?
Casinos, Costco wall to wall people, but of God,
or to sing in a chapel?
You are forbidden to respect, honor and to learn.

In the USA, the right to assemble peacefully is
hardly a joke.
But Portland has had over 100 days of rioting...
Are these folks on coke?

I don't know if the freedom I once knew, will ever
be allowed to be?
Just masks, social distancing till I die, and the sad
part is....I will never be free!

Premium Member When Doing Wrong Feels So Right

Each town has it’s own Heart Beat: Thump, Thump- Thump, Thump.
And All can go astray when doing wrong feels so right.

A young man came in contact with the police… and has died.
So the town decided to protest, drawing others from the outside.
Everything got out of hand, and escalated, throughout the night.
Businesses destroyed, homes robbed, fires, it wasn’t a pretty sight.
The innocent bystanders have decided to move away, in droves.
The businesses are losing customers, as to safety so many go.
Eventually, businesses will also leave, for customers they must have.
The area will become blighted, where a good home once could be had.

Each town has it’s own Heart Beat: Thump, Thump- Thump, Thump.
And All can go astray when doing wrong feels so right.

Police and their families are being threatened, as they try to understand.
But they see that they must guard at night, all which continues to stand.
The Newsmen are stirring things up, as to the National News they go.
Of course we need to know the plight of all, as they stir up more woes.
Protesting the freedom, to protest at night, hasn’t helped stop the fights.
More will be leaving the area, cause they don’t want to live too close.
It’s the innocents who continue to suffer, if the town becomes a ghost.
It could end in a moment, or be like the fighting, in the Middle East.

Each town has it’s own Heart Beat: Thump, Thump- Thump, Thump.
And All can go astray when doing wrong feels so right.

It all depends on everyone’s understanding of when it’s time to stop.
It depends on the understanding: of when something wrong feels right.
Rioting, Looting, and Protesting can’t add anything good to the mix.
But adding outsiders and hatred to it, can totally destroy all, in the end.
There are brave hearts, wanting to stop what’s going on, to get along
The outsiders control the scene, as with sadness, the good back down.
It seems to have a life of it’s own, pushed from outsiders out to win.
But the only thing they’ll win, is a ghost town, for those left within.

Each town has it’s own Heart Beat: Thump, Thump- Thump, Thump.
And All can go astray when doing wrong feels so right.
Remember: Be careful what you do, when feelings seem so right.

Don’t you agree with my ability
to loosen up on our times in no night ?
A river thing was flowing
through foliaged silence.

In deranged hour of the
neck tie, you throw up obscenity
on road. What ? Chicken hearted ?
Sickle cell anemia ?

Goat rioting before sacrifice:-
the tiny feet will drop from heaven
to walk in blood and bless you
for dispatching the head of unlove.

The night hawk butchers the hope,
if the baby owl cries again. Afraid,
I am going to take a flight
to yellowing moon.

Physical Addiction

My chest is raw and there are bite marks on my soul
My hands are curled and my overworked libido is dying

And I know

I’m at the place where sexual desire
Becomes physical addiction

The lack of
Your necessary breath
Is a suffocating effect

My blood is black
My lips are dry
My joints are locked
And my eyes are foggy

My body is rioting
Destructively searching
For hidden remnants
Of warm uncontained passion
That I’m withdrawing from

Love’s touch is absent
It’s friction fading

I will desert my body’s turmoil
I’ll return
When It enters you again
