We have a new president whether we like him or not. We are american's first.....it's time to take responsibility for the RIGHTS we have. Demoralizing behavior exists with orchestrated demonstrations of barbaric actions,destroying property, especally in our universities and colleges; supported by their administrators. If they so firmly believe that destroying property and assualting people is an acceptable way to have a voice....maybe they need to explore living in another country. Freedom is Not Free....we need to protect it!

Freedom isn't Free It comes with the price of Responsibility. American citizens are born with the inalienable right To peaceably assemble, to petition Their grievances, their aversions, their plights. Freedom isn't Free It comes with the price of Responsibility. Marching and rioting; with causes so deep; Hubris and anger taking the charge, engaging In destruction, threatening the welfare of the public at large. Freedom isn't Free It comes with the price of Responsibility. Women's rights, undocumented immigrants, The racial divide and global affairs their major concerns; Heightened by the outcome of this unprecedented election, Propelling feckless tactics and undue aggression. Freedom isn't Free It comes with the price of Responsibility. Celebrities jumping on board; rallying with acrid voices,repudiating calm resolution for revolt and revolution. What have they accomplished, what have they done; tarnished the credibility of voices that should peacefully be sung. Freedom isn't Free It comes with the price of Responsibility. February 20, 2017

I agree that we as Americans gripe a lot and don't do enough, but I am very worried about the state of our union right now and how little choice we had for our vote. Great write.

Andrea, Thank You for commenting on this. It is a delicate subject these days....our country is at odds and it only weakens us....I just wish people would realize their turning against our president isn't the answer....being UNITED is.

Amen and Amen and Amen !! I do so agree. And I believe Mr. Trump will help bring order back to America. He is a savvy business man and if it can be done he can do it. Just give him a chance. After all Obama was given the chance twice and all he ever did was try to bring the country to it's knees. Bravo my friend. God Bless and a big 7 from me. JB

I agree, right and wrong is beyond party lines. We are a thankless people. "What have you done for me lately?" people. Who cares that millions gave their lives, just so we could have a voice, so we could live in peace, that we can pursue happiness. A voice in the wilderness, Mrs Paulette:) They want to give away what was paid for with the blood of our forefathers.

Daniel, so well expressed....you are so RIGHT.....it sickens me when I see the destruction being wielded by those who have no idea the cost of FREEDOM. And I am sickened more by those adults who perpetrate, encourage and watch while America is being scourged. Apparently they don't know their history or have never been to Normandy, Italy, Arlington or the many other Military Cemeteries around the world. I believe we need not only close our borders to illegals but to those who call them selves Americans and burn our flag.
