Until I Realized

I turned on the news and saw people rioting in the streets, burning the American flag, destroying private property, smashing windshields, attacking innocent people, screaming and ranting, displaying so much hate towards those who don’t share the same thoughts and ideas they do and I was disgusted, wondering why the news had to always show things that were happening in the Middle East until I realized it was California what the hell is wrong with people?

Hi Chris, I share your same views. It saddens me to my soul to see people behaving like this. Violence and hate will never be the solution for change. It's only when we come that together "change" happens. I am over joyed about "Trump" getting elected? No, but me acting a fool and throwing a tantrum won't solve anything. Thank you Alexis. I wasn't sure how this would be accepted here. I was fully prepared to accept either outcome, whether I liked it or not, with an open mind. Like Tim said below, not everyone' candidate is going to win. It is just sad that people feel they have to act like this. But, hopefully it will blow over soon.

They are having a tantrum. There are more constructive ways to get your point across. Not everyone's candidate wins and that's the way life goes.

You are exactly right Tim. I can assure you that if Hillary had won all of the deploarbles she slammed wouldn't be rioting in the streets. This just goes to show you who the deplorable people really are.

Thanks Heidi, I just had to say something because it was building up in me and I don't like that feeling. It is way out of control now. I read an article this morning about a mother who belittled her 7 or 8 year old son in public, basically shaming her own son viciously and horrifically and posted a video of it on line because in his school class in a mock election, he voted for Donald Trump. This woman has no business raising hamsters let alone a child. What is wrong with these people? My heart is breaking.

Its a sad situation when emotion takes over reason...especially if its an angry one....Noone.should.ever.tear his flag...but honour it..But some bunches of idiots are found everywhers in the world...those.do not represent all American people.Many Americans shed blood for freedom..and accept any changes happening...Am sorry.

It is a very sad situation Charmaine and I read this morning that High School students are protesting and their teachers are cheering them on. What are we teaching our children? Thank you for coming by to read my rant this morning my friend.
