It was on a cold night in Bethlehem that hope was born
A babe lay in a manger as angels sang joyfully
Above the nativity a star shone casting bright light
Guiding the paths of three wise men to welcome our Savior
As shepherds flocked toward the illuminated holy site
The warmth from within still touches the hearts of all mankind

In remembrance we pray for harmony among mankind
As we celebrate the first Christmas, optimism born
In the Mideast soldiers bow down, recalling this wondrous site
For just one night thoughts of war fade, hearts are filled joyfully
They lay down weapons, focusing on the birth of our Savior
As they huddle together, sharing good will by camp light

In many parts of the world, homes illuminated by light
Peace touches the hearts of those who seek blessings for mankind
Church bells ring, signaling the arrival of our Savior
Souls are touched as the restoration of joy is now born
Worshippers proceed to mass, sharing greetings joyfully
If only each day could be filled with such a loving site

How welcome to see the sun rise each day on such a site
Hearts abounding with humanity from our inner light
With angels in each of us sharing good will joyfully
If I live to see such days, I’ll have new hope for mankind
Trust and faith would emanate, celebrating a Child born
A Child, a Leader Who would give His life as a Savior

Cast aside the trappings, focus only on our Savior
Keep in mind this first Christmas, a blessed and holy site
How wonderful it would be to see new harmony born
Differences seem petty as we revel in God’s light
Join me in expectations for the future of mankind
Like the seraphs let us sing out in hymns so joyfully

Make our future one that finds families praying joyfully
No greater inspiration than the birth of our Savior
From a Blessed Mother’s womb sprang a babe to save mankind
Let us be wise men, finding cause to worship at this site
War and hatred cannot exist within God’s holy light
Acceptance of each man’s worth can in joyful hearts be born

Raise your hearts, revel joyfully in our Savior’s glory
In cheer mankind recalls the site of a manger at night
Where neath a star’s light was born a King, the Son of our Lord

Premium Member Revel In the Moment

Revel in the moment of now;
this moment won't ever repeat.
Live your life on the edge of wow;
don't let yourself feel incomplete.

This moment won't ever repeat;
cherish every fleeting second.
Don't let yourself feel incomplete;
in a way you had not reckoned.

Cherish every fleeting second;
get the most out of every day.
In a way you had not reckoned;
time is swiftly slipping away.

Get the most out of every day;
live your life on the edge of wow.
Time is swiftly slipping away;
revel in the moment of now.

Premium Member Revel In Silence

Don’t
think
that just
because yours
was the final word
you are right. Many times people
quit arguing hoping it will make you stop talking.
So you and they can revel in the sweet sound of silence but for different reasons.

Oh, how sad, oh how very glum,
Goodness gracious me prater comes.
Still writing winsome words of woe,
Endlessly stopped, never to go.

Oh Lord, let not our life pass by
Let us do more than weep and cry.
Wallowing in morbid abode.
Endlessly stopped, never to go.

Whiling away the endless hours;
Scribbling sigils, claws cower.
Envy those not caught in limbo
Endlessly stopped, never to go.

Envy the prattle on the page.
At least the words are given stage.
Fields upon fields, rows upon row.
Endlessly stopped, never to go.

Feeling your life’s left no dower.
Enjoying the pain not power.
Pondering heaven on life’s gallows.
Endlessly stopped, never to go.

Goodness gracious me, prater comes,
And, all of it just, so, ho-hum.
Each word stroked, petted, tilled and hoed,
Endlessly stopped, never to go.

And, all of it just, so, ho-hum.
Leave the box, flee the asylum!
Writing, writing, writing on,
Endlessly stopped, never to go.

All this soulless, mindless, drivel.
Writing, writing, scratch and scribble;
Live above your massive ego
Endlessly stopped, never to go.

Premium Member Revel In the Rain

Storms can come at any time
There are mountains that we climb
Sunshine helps to ease the pain
We have to revel in the rain

Revel in the rain
Within the swirling squall
When your back’s against the wall
And you’re feeling so very small
Revel in the rain

Life can take us for a ride
It’s like swimming against the tide
When we lose more than we gain
It’s time to revel in the rain

Revel in the rain
Looking to the sky
Spread your wings and start to fly
Let the freedom make you sigh
Revel in the rain

When you give all that you’ve got
You’ll find you’re better than you thought
You wouldn’t have grown without the pain
Raise your arms and revel in the rain

Revel in the rain
Shout to the heavens, I’m alive
Feelings of triumph I revive
When all is done I will survive
Revel in the rain

Sly Revel of My Lady

Hear O maiden, on whom desire springs forth
It brews mine soul, chiming taste after port
Have thou detour, pursuit never will cease
Inside dungeon, dwells memoirs begging peace.

Not once does sole eddy whispers’ depart
Birds dance at lightning’s amazing glory,
Nervy morose obeyed deadly loch art
Baffle tongue shields the shame of thath fury.

Autumn for willow vale, bright morning frost
Exalts unto thy blossom: chilled breeze toss.
Adieu for day, thwack wilt kindle cost,
Extreme snide flits; Dank! Flout insolent loss.

Once again, thorn manifest lover’s hope
Outre’ wish from her behest painful pop.

Revel In My Ruins

virgin feet,
i stepped onto the quicksand
in ignorance of it’s
deceit.
as the clouds
overhead draw
together in the
grayest anger,
my heart hurts for relief.
i stand tall, but
that doesn’t change the
reality of this
disaster.
you were a tornado that
spun me for a loop;
so much destruction
in such a short time.
i can’t admit my defeat so
i’ll suffer in silence and
watch you walk away.
no matter if there’s nothing
left for me to rebuild
myself:
this is the end.

~ (~) ~ Tides Revel In Their Rise ~ (~) ~ (Part #1 of 3) ~ (~) ~!

Or owning the beauty of an unconditional unity with God, abiding in peace with one another,
the world around us,one that existing through His goodness, I believe now is already and in
always, through Him, abounding within, and consistently surrounding all of us ... ?

I mean if you would, look around, and within yourself ... .

Because I have found whether rising up or drifting outward... like myself I often do, we are all
like the tides, each in the end running towards or away from God, everywhere we are, in
some way at some given time, given whatever the matter, or eventuality.

And as I feel it is as it should be ... .

I will to know God, and to live a righteous life, and so God willing, with this attitude in action...
hoping to never again be apart from Him, I believe I'll be taken again back home to Him... .

Even whether I am of the understanding of this or not.

So given these facts, I know now, what my choice is to be.

It is so clear to me... .

Like the tides... through Him I must be Honest... with myself, pen to Him... and Willing to ask,
yes allow myself room for His forgiveness, and wash my hands of any and all past present
and future frailties, then continue to revel with Him, as He brings my spirit within my body, to
rise.

Until the day given His faithfulness ... love and mercy my body quite simply, cannot ... .

Not unless given the inevitable beauty, the nature of His Sovereignty, He chooses one day to
lift it Himself.

Because I know too ... "as I desire to live and love, have faith and to be loved, embrace His
mercy ... fully, my desire, is the simple aspiration of Gods' same longing for this" ... .

And having been awakened this morning again ... .

Truly, though I may try, as the Sun rises and sets, upon the day, God's love and faithfulness,
mercy ... in all of its honor and beauty - asking me to rise myself and revel with Him and you
in this glorious opportunity.

Having been made aware of this, the perfect beauty of His grace, this today I cannot, no I will
not myself ... with all that is within me,

deny Him ...

again... .

Let Me Revel 'Til Tomorrow

Far from the language of men I buried
My sorrow, I wrapped it in solitude
Grieving safe in linen white and I heed
Its soft demanding voice rarely subdued

For should I say too soon: ‘I badly wish
From you to be parted. Go! Disappear
In the air, I no longer care! Vanish!
Vanish miserable friend! Vanish from here!’

Then what? For my sorrow you see
Is such a loyal tender companion
A welcome gateway and escape to me

It never lied, never cheated, what’s more
Its friendly chains I made, so do not be
too harsh, let me revel 'til tomorrow.

~ (~) Tides Revel In Their Rise ~ (~) ~ (Part #2 of 3) ~ (~) ~

Seeing this now, I still, being blinded by them I find I am still frightfully often fighting Him and
this, and these facts.

And knowing myself and knowing no other viable future, without Him.

His love, exults for me, all of us I believe, a true, permanent and abundant freedom and
universal peace, and liberty.

And remaining honorable, adhering to this principal, I believe it awaits openly, rising up each
moment to greet Him ... .

Is always hopeful and willingly revels in His patient coaxing of all of us to try and be as open
in all we do as well individually.

Wanting ... just like Him, in all honesty ... only the best for another and ourselves.

Believing, along with me as I am realizing now myself,
that His grace, always provides for everyone the same opportunity.

And as it moves freely, it sets aside the veritable ... and inevitable, and so I feel grace abides
in the overt nature of love.

Finding its refuge in the eminent fortune, of even more beautiful things to come.

Because I am finding that to love, is to be free.

Yes to love completely is to cherish the innocence within ... and abounding, through
embracing God, myself, another,
the veritable nature of this His world fully, at its and-mine all of ours our most vulnerable.

And so I know that through my schooling, and Him.

Like me ... now, I believe having no other choice tides are surrendered themselves, to the
greater gravity of the Sun.

And so still I know as well rising up honoring him us all of this world, to them scrubbing the
shorelines, blessing the life therein, through this process they are graciously cleans
themselves.

As in turn they are washed out to Sea, again blessing all the life within as they again are
brought to rise back up through Him to greet them behind the combined pull and timely
rotation of it and the Earth on the enchanting nature of the Moon.

All for perfect reason.

So knowing true love I feel is to accept its hand, and dance felicitously mid the tenderness of
its reflection.

Because what is more important to have?

"Feeling-safe" ... knowing a "Perfect" conditional faith and love, mercy ... ?

Deep blood red orange cloud’s,
ethereal dream float,
Satin wind carrier of luscious mint,
green hymnody’s deft transport,
Spring hues random loitering,
between gray peeled branches,
Chirpy echo squeak,
 from red-wing blackbird,
A fragile wafer tin threshold,
Golden stream gurgle,
under marsh reeds,
Evanescent saline grain haze,
Azure ocean tide aroused,
from still wave slumber,
Clamshell pearl strewn oyster,
 oddments interspersed,
on pockmark sandstone beach,
Iridescent canopy of nature trail,
Awaits the first blush pilgrim,
who revels in lavish glimpses,
And sumptuous earworm madrigal,
A tantalizing world so close,
Glad tiding raptures,
from the camper awakened,
Coffee caper bean whiff aromatic,
Quencher of dust road harsh throat,
Splatter free rapeseed oil,
daub on an iron pan,
wild howl from prehistoric wolf,
So quaint in its primal sweep,
hair-raising backdrop to stir fry meal,
Tinplate dollop sated hunger
