Revel In Silence


Don’t
think
that just
because yours
was the final word
you are right.  Many times people
quit arguing hoping it will make you stop talking.
So you and they can revel in the sweet sound of silence but for different reasons.

Sweetie, the is excellently done. I know such a person, probably all are exposed to that personality at one time or another. This is so good - please read contest to be sure she doesn't mind the last line falling into the next (I thought I had read that, but I make mistakes more than most). I plead guilty to walking away from arguments, PS. Your fibonacci is insightful. When we quit arguing our point, perhaps the other side does believe they won because they had the last word. Great entry for the contest!
