Amy Winehouse-Should Have Went To Rehab
They tried to make you go to Rehab...
you said...
                NO!
                    NO!!

Rehab
So much I wanted to say. So much I wanted to shout.
It was like being trapped behind bars without a way
to get out.
My mind going wild with all these questions of why.
The only way to escape was to fall asleep or to cry.
What did I...

Rehab
Paint my eyes black, blind me.
Rip my nails off, unarm me.
Place me with those just like me.
Try months to rehabilitate,
the lost and untimely....

Rehab
I once had a Lazy Susan
Adding confusion to choosin'
I gave her a spin
But never could win
And that's why I turned to boozin'...

Bird By Rehab
They unload life’s lead
into unseen enemies
machine gun memories
flying rapid fire
recollections and musings
spent shells amassing
mental turbines spinning
smoking the room.

And they yawn and doodle
ink stains for amusement
their purpose loosened
without caffeine courage
meetings adjourned
aimless wandering down
immaculate hallways
wounded reflections
in thoughtless pursuit
of quiet relief.

And they nod gingerly
with grim understanding
lives in the...

She pushes my wheelchair
Rolling me past the nurses station
Rolling me down the long bright hallway
Rolls me into the room with all those machines
All I want to do is go for a...

Premium Member I'M Booked Into Rehab - Not For Contest
I’m telling you this, it’s no rumour -
Some people knock my sense of humour
So I’ve ordered a cab
To take me to rehab
With poetry I’m a late bloomer!

Reality Rehab
Yesterday was my 22nd birthday and an intervention was my gift
Today I share a room with these three dope fiend heroin addicts

One is in the bathroom throwing up, the other...

Rehab
I dare you to kick the habit
This one I have you can't have it
Mirror, tell me who is not fit
It's time you throw away that kit

Just not your song, "Bring Me To Life"
Forget the urge, ignore the drive
That thing you do cuts like a knife
The...

Rehab Girls
I died
And when I awoke
All the women were tall
Wearing sweats
Had their hair up
Cursing
Smoking menthol cigarettes
They say god loves babies and fools
There are babies out there
And fools in here

Rehab
I'm in rehab
Cuz I gotta get away from my drug
 It did me wrong
And took me down for way too long

 I loved it so much
 And still do
 But I gotta get away

 I was so addicted
 people could...

Need Rehab On Cold Slab and More
Need Rehab on Cold Slab

Could be because I became a crab;
What we really need is some rehab;
For while waited;
Was reactivated;
They found us lying on a cold slab.

Inevitably
Day old coffee
in its maker
a cold witness
sometimes
to broken dreams
and war stories
and proclamations
of
getting well
of
new beginnings
of
hearty hope.

Solemn stories and
cloudy memories
and Joe
laughter’s echo
at some obscure
joke but
the window
knows
how schemes get
distorted
deformed
disfigured.

Some have just
flown that way
inevitably
some do go
without ceremony
without fanfare
no hoopla
simply vanish
and all that’s left
are
empty seats
empty room
empty maker
waiting for
the next batch
of...

Premium Member Johnny Cash
Johnny Cash had great
Compassion for the
Working class and the poor.
‘I fell into a burning ring of fire,
I went down, down, down,
And the flames went higher’
Johnny Cash, a fifties and sixties, a
Much applauded singer,
Fans chased him, girls chased
Him, but he befriended drugs,
‘And it burns,...

For Her Jewels of Time
She looked at me calmly opening her narrow lips
Luis the name brought an ache to my wounded ego
In my pride I had ended up shipwrecked in the rehab

...You can make it even when they all say you cant
I swallow my pride and prod,..

I like...
