Best Rebelliousness Poems
Why, Momma, why?
Was I not deserving
of you?
Was I not good?
Was I too frail?
Did you send me away
Because your own life
derailed?
Why, Momma, why
Do I still secretly wail?
Asking myself what did I do so
wrong? How did I fail?
What you called rebelliousness
Was the only way I knew how
to stay strong sometimes, I'd
stay up all night looking after you
Got banged and bruised so that
he wouldn't hurt you
No one else did that
Isn't it true?
Did you ever think about my wounds
That was the only way I knew to
protect you
Instead of helping me
You banished me through lies,
Stripped me from my home,
My siblings, my life
Withheld your love
Because I tried to take my own life
But did you ever stop and think that
Perhaps something in me wasn't right?
Why, momma, why?
Does your absence whisper in me
A forever sorrowful lullaby and
Although, I miss you I love you more
each day that goes by
I forgive you wholeheartedly
Despite that yesterday, I cried
I wouldn't hesitate to wipe
The tears from your eyes if they
ever again were to meet with mine
Lord, thank You for saving…
…my condemned life that was bound to hell
By Your grace, excelling compassionately well
With Your redemption* so that in heaven I can surely dwell
Transforming me from rebelliousness thru the Gospel!
Lord, thank You for rescuing…
…my sinful soul from the lake of fire
By Your love, fulfilling the perfect sacrifice You did require
With Your pardon acquitting me from penalty of sin’s mire
Making me Your child, tamed by Your kindness that doesn’t expire!
Lord, thank You for winning…
…my arrogant nature from filthiness
By Your mercy, vanquishing evil and wickedness
With Your justification for my righteousness
Enabling me to strive for holiness!
Lord, thank You for prevailing over…
…my vain faith in false religion
By Your Scriptures, rebuking every idolatrous region
With Your truths to free me from abomination’s dungeon
Snatching me from the devil’s deceiving legion!
Lord, thank You for converting…
…my deceitful heart midst pride’s deadly cost
By Your humility, reaching out to the lost
With Your power and might of the Holy Ghost
Leading me to submit to You, serving with my best and utmost!
Lord, thank You for cleansing…
…my self-willed personality from carnality’s impurity
By Your sanctification, purging every worldliness, and vanity
With Your purification from any iniquity
Blessing me in obeying Your authority!
Lord, thank You for driving…
…my uncertain future to Your direction from terrible disaster
By Your omniscience, controlling all events as the Master
With Your victory against tribulation's setter
Guiding me to aspire for Christ-like character!
*1Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.

July 16 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Isaiah 46-50
Key Verse – Isaiah 47:4 As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY HOLY REDEEMER
Lord God, You are my holy Redeemer midst sinful burden
Thank You for pulling me out against downfalls of pride so sudden
Away from troubles of transgressions’ warden
To bring me to Your salvation-garden.
Lord God, You are my holy Redeemer midst corrupt pollution
Thank You for taking me out against yokes of pleasures’ destruction
Away from wickedness’ perversion
To drive me to Your holiness-function.
Lord God, You are my holy Redeemer midst obstinate stubbornness
Thank You for releasing me out against treacherous deceitfulness
Away from affliction of falsity’s illness
To propel me to Your Word-truthfulness.
Lord God, You are my holy Redeemer midst infirmity’s fatality
Thank You for plucking me out against crises of no prosperity
Away from false teachings’ uncertainty
To lead me to Your direction-stability.
Lord God, You are my holy Redeemer midst vain judgment
Thank You for rescuing me out against despicable entanglement
Away from dark prisons’ encampment
To guide me to Your comfort-settlement.
Lord God, You are my holy Redeemer midst continual wastage
Thank You for preserving me out against secularism’s spoilage
Away from carnality’s hostage
To carry me to Your fellowship-advantage.
Lord God, You are my holy Redeemer midst iniquities’ reign
Thank You for freeing me out against selfishness’ strain
Away from rebelliousness of smiting sprain
To usher me to walk along obedience-terrain.

Cut away the shame
The shame that drives us all insane
Insane animals we’ve become in our pain
Our pain is the oasis of your soul's spirit within
In the times of tribulation, always remember
Always remember to believe in yourself and as for me
As for me, I will ride the rollercoaster of tears inside
The tears inside are filled with fears and cheers of all kinds
All kinds of guilt engulfs me as a whole
As a whole, I feel so weak and useless
Useless as a rusty tool in the rain of grief that leads to naught
Naught is what I ended up with when I feel all alone
All alone in a sense…God forgives my rebelliousness and sees my innocence
My innocence is what He simply adores and oversees my sins of youthful days
Youthful days spent in the prison of my crooked passions and disarrays
Disarrays fade away…oh thank you, God…
God looks after me like a hawk to its prey; I am praying…
Praying to the Lord for you to be my moon of I’ll-see-you-soon
Soon enough, you and I will be together and make a friendship bond beyond our own
Our own loneliness hits us to the core
To the core is how you cut me deep
You cut me deep in shamefulness thoughtlessly
Thoughtfully, I am cutting away at the shame
The shame that cut you and I apart
As in crystal methamphetamine, the mind becomes cold.
Anxiety, paranoia, and schizophrenia
Creep in, like snakes and deathstalker scorpions, uncontrolled
Are bones, veins, flesh, and blood affected by asthenia?
The body begs for calm composure; the moody mind mulls.
Midst fires of optimism, the ice of pessimism melts.
Restlessness and rebelliousness resemble spineless skulls
Vandalism of vindictiveness vitiates vague vents
The feeling of freedom to fly and fervently flutter
Fill and flow flawlessly, like fine floral fluorescence.
Mild melodies of memories musically mutter
Constant conscious conscience has come to be the quintessence.
When the ice of hateful, heinous, hideous hurdles heaps
May passions of compassion flare from the depths of the deeps!
The thought of all trusts,
Was it all just rust?
The thought of all confidence,
Was it because of your insolence?
The thought of all friendship,
Was it all just dissonance?
Was it all just lies?
The thought of all immanence,
There was no innocence,
Was it all just imminent trust?
Was it all your fickleness?
Was it your falseness?
Was it enough faith for equivalence?
There was fading ambivalence...
Was I blinded by wistfulness?
Was i blinded by your words?
Was it your defiance?
Was it all about rebelliousness?
Are we going to be strayed?
Were we going to divagate?
Was I being a black swan?
Did you want to disarray?
Did I need to back away or just run away?
I was being manipulated over again...
Kindness is hard to give now...
Did you want to lead astray?
Are you really a friend?
Did you want to push me away?
Did you want to cut me away?
Did you want to break me away?
Weren't we going all the way?
You are going too far away...
You were just looking away...
With my tears shedding,
Will you just turn away?
Might I just fall down?
Must the world just fade away?
Was it all just waste?
Was it all already traced?
Was it all degrading?
Are you corrupted?
Am i devalued?
My unshakeable perception and unbrakeable soul,
Were they deceived?
All I need now is a shoulder,
Where my tears can be shed and impregnated.
A hug,
Where my bones brake of forgotten joyfulness.
A trust,
Where my biggest secrets will be kept.
A hand,
That can keep helping inconditionally.
Eyes,
That could see me for who I am.
A heart,
Where infinite solid bonds could be created.
And a soul,
Where my soul could be free and unbrakeable...
All because of your hypocrat double play,
I was betrayed...
Geoffrey gave me an exquisite book
For Christmas.
It is a showcase of the work of
Hundert Wasser - the great Viennese artist,
Architect and visionary.
The jewel colours, the gracious curves -
No straight lines here to sicken
Humankind.
The environmentalist obeying
Natural Law to create spaces
That nurture - not the 'bleeding houses'
Made of rectangles
The insult of the straight line -
Alien to organic forms -
Transmitting alarm signals to the brain.
The blues, reds and oranges combined with yellow greens
Soothe the soul and stimulate the senses.
They jump out at me
Invigorate and excite me -
Inspire a rebelliousness against angles
Harsh lines and grey.
September 6 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Ezekiel 23-24
Key Verse – Ezekiel 23: 49 … And ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
FAITH IN GOD WHO AFFIRMS THAT HE IS THE LORD
God affirms that He is the Lord Who is against wickedness
Surely disciplining us of our rebelliousness
To mold our faith toward righteousness-firmness
Keeping us in His protective holiness.
God affirms that He is the Lord Who is against deeds that are filthy
Surely transforming us to become spiritually healthy
To develop our faith for longsuffering, divinely lengthy
Keeping us in His will, exalting Him---always worthy.
God affirms that He is the Lord Who is against profaning
Surely delivering us from spoils of sinning
To secure our faith toward reaching-outs’ opening
Keeping us in His righteousness always reigning.
God affirms that He is the Lord Who is against iniquities
Surely inviting us to repent while admitting our impurities
To uphold our faith from worldly vanities
Keeping us in His virtuous certainties.
God affirms that He is the Lord Who is against offenses
Surely guarding us from grief of disobedience-caused curses
To prop our faith toward servanthood deeds with divine forces
Keeping us in His standard to conquer perversion that displeases.
God affirms that He is the Lord Who is against transgressions
Surely forgiving us of our humble guilt-stricken confessions
To enlighten our faith along heavenly visions
Keeping us in His contentment-filled provisions.
God affirms that He is the Lord Who is against hypocrisy
Surely checking us of our motives with Scriptural decency
To drive our faith toward Bible-teachings’ fervency
Keeping us in His truth and in His mercy.

They say “God has forsaken us just look around”
Wars and storms are destroying our hometowns,
They say “if there is a God why are so many in need?”
People are steeling and lying with hearts overwhelmed with greed
They say “It’s all Gods fault”… man takes no blame,
We curse God, push him out of our lives, and then accuse him when we are put to shame,
Oh blinded world filled with an abundance of vanity
You speak evil of him with mouths filled with profanity
Disobeying all he has commanded us to do
His rules were made to keep us safe, to avoid the chaos in which we now suffer through
They say “God is far and he doesn’t care”
When it is our hearts that have turned from him, grown cold, brittle and bare
All we have to do is repent and change our wicked ways
Then in the blink of an eye he will restore us to our golden days
But human pride thinks it can beat him and reason thinks it will win
Read the bible, rebelliousness is how destruction all begins
Society gets darker and more corrupt each and every year
Many are growing hopeless and becoming overwhelmed by fear
God never left us… we as a country left him
God cannot bless a nation who is worshiping sin
In his infinite mercy he has allowed judgment to shake up his lost sheep
Those raindrops you see are his tears…yes our God does weep
Wake up great nation remember why we have been incredibly blessed
It’s not because we’re so brilliant it’s because our forefathers made vows to God that we would give him our best
Generations are born and then they die
It is our obligation to leave a legacy about our creator who is more than just a mystery hidden in the sky
His eyes watch over every human, animal, insect and tree
His love holds this entire world unconditionally
So take some time to consider how fragile are lives really are
Man can’t stop natural disasters or shootings by a mad man in a car
Live each day in love, forgiveness and submission
Put away idolatry, lust and religious tradition
Make a decision to have a “personal” relationship with God alone
And watch how life will change for you whether you’re young or already grown.

INGRATITUDE
How could you give me such extreme distress
While my care for you has always been so strong
When you erred in thinking you were a success
Did I not show you, where you were going wrong
When you spent such toil on your pathetic writing
I revealed how you were wasting all your time
I put you right and helped you with my chiding
To get you straight and back again in line
The expression of ideas you took delight in
And wilfully disputed truth in mine
Why couldn't you conform and stop the fighting
Your rebelliousness it really was a crime
You would still be in religious cult induction
If I hadn't made a plan for your salvation
Though you fought and screamed that it was an abduction
For your sake we had to use incarceration
With your protests diagnosed as bipolarity
A psychiatrist said psych-medicine would be kind
Then a good dose of electroconvulsive therapy
Brought you to a more amenable frame of mind
And yet you now show such a lack of gratitude
All my caring seems to be misunderstood
And I find it hard to understand your attitude
Since I've always done what's purely for your good
One Sunday at church a young lady sat down in the pew in front of me.
She seemed distressed and in despair.
After the service, I asked her what was wrong,
but she would not answer and just kept crying.
A member of the congregation informed me
that she saw her sleeping in the balcony the previous Sunday.
Immediately I knew that she was probably homeless
and was too ashamed to talk about It.
Eventually I called over some of the ministers in the church,
they got her to talk and then we all laid hands on her and prayed.
The Deacon in our church who was in charge of missions got her some help.
I have lived in NYC all of my life and I've seen my share of homeless people.
Some choose to live that way, either because of mental defect
or out of rebelliousness.
Yet others had no choice.
A fire left them without a place to live.
A spouse abandoned their family
and the remaining spouse could no longer bear
the financial burden alone.
A young girl got pregnant and her parents
kicked her out.
A major hike in the rent
and people can no longer afford the monthly burden.
A death, a long term illness, fixed incomes.
There are so many things that can, could
and may happen to anyone of us
and we could be homeless tomorrow.
But for the grace of God, there goeth thou.
Homeless is not a dirty word
so don't look down on those
who live in parks, alley ways, subways,
bus stations or city-owned shelters.
Homeless is not a dirty word
so don't judge others
until you've walked in their shoes.
Homeless is not a dirty word
there are people in this world
who do not have friends or family to help them.
Homeless is not a dirty word
It's just a reality.

Based on Deuteronomy 20-24
Key Verse – Deuteronomy 20:1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY BATTLE CONQUEROR
Lord God, You are my battle Conqueror,

training my will by Your sin-slaying might
Thank You for building me up against pride’s downfall and blight
I then find my strength in Your blood-redeeming power for victorious flight
In calming myself to prevail over guilt’s fright and frustration’s height.
Lord God, You are my battle Conqueror,
terrifying my enemies greatly
Thank You for bracing me up to march on righteously
I then follow Your leading perseveringly
In coming nigh to Your throne so I can share Your peace bravely.
Lord God, You are my battle Conqueror,
turning my heart from stubbornness
Thank You for barring me from disobedience and rebelliousness
I then fear You reverentially with total submissiveness
In committing my life to Your blessed joyfulness.
Lord God, You are my battle Conqueror,
teaching my spirit to trust Your wisdom
Thank You for boosting me against vain quest for earthly stardom
I then fall into Your forgiveness, humbled in seeking first Your kingdom
In calling upon You while discovering Your bliss-filled freedom.
Lord God, You are my battle Conqueror,
trying my conviction against materialistic prosperity
Thank You for burdening me with prayer quests to seeking You with sincerity
I then fence my mind around Your truth’s security
In combatting oppressive discontentment midst grievous futility.
Lord God, You are my battle Conqueror,
triumphing toward my divine cheerful excitement
Thank You for blessing me in my stewardship’s engagement
I then feast in Your presence with Your grace-endowment
In cleaving to You always by Your Word’s assuring bestowment.
