My God, Thank You For Reviving Me

September 2 Scripture Meditations Based on Habakkuk 1-3 Key Verse – Habakkuk 3:2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR REVIVING ME Thank You for reviving me with Your righteousness Against wickedness of iniquities’ filthiness To sanctify me for heavenly pursuits through Your holiness As You shield my soul from evil sinfulness. Thank You for reviving me with Your compassion Against spoilage of violence-contention To protect me for kind deeds along virtuous transformation As You guard my heart from strife’s destruction. Thank You for reviving me with Your wisdom Against decisions of foolishness’ boredom To direct me for biblical truths in advancing Your kingdom As You guide my mind from humanistic atheistic freedom. Thank You for reviving me with Your might Against dealings of treachery’s blight To empower me for pleasant faith-acts of Your delight As You strengthen my trust from unbelief’s sight. Thank You for reviving me with Your mercy Against afflictions of bitterness’ persistency To help me for sincere service by Your fervency As You pull my spirit from wrath’s despondency. Thank You for reviving me with Your presence Against gloominess of desolation’s silence To cheer me up for joyful worship upon Your divine license As You bless my life from offences’ prevalence. Thank You for reviving me with Your authority Against disobedience of rebelliousness’ tenacity To control me for submissive surrender to Your sovereignty As You uphold my confidence from selfish vanity.
